Improve android auto with lyft
Hello team!!! I just wanted to let you know that I love this app but, with the recent update it's I little frustrating. Let me explain, I work for lyft in California and since their default maps doest show you faster routes or road closures its a pain the neck so I started using Waze connected to my android auto unit. During radar warning speed limit is not visible
During radar warning the "current speedlimit" is shifted above and disappears under the "next direction change information". Then you can not see the speed you are actually driving during the speed control, this please needs improvement.

Controls on phone when using android auto or carplay
I'm a waze user paired with android auto device. I think it would be alot better if you are able to make it so you can control waze with your mobile device and see the map with android auto, google maps started doing this and it feels like waze is missing this opportunity. It would be great if you can end drives, start drives, see turns up ahead on the phone while using AA while the main map is displayed on AA

Showing the average speed on the trip
When a driver enters an average speed check zone, Waze could display both the legal speed limit and the driver’s current calculated average speed since entering the zone. Additionally, the app could show what the driver’s remaining average speed needs to be in order to stay compliant by the end of the zone.
Example:
“Average speed check zone — Limit: 90 km/h.
Current average: 95 km/h.
To stay compliant, reduce speed to 85 km/h.”2 votes -
Average speed camera in IRAN
Hello waze
Recently in IRAN roads, many average speed traps are installed.
As you kbow these cameras catch not only the momentum speed but also catch the average speed between 2 cameras and in the whole road.
As you know they use SPECS (SPEed Check Services) system that use number plate recognition to measure the time taken between two fixed points to monitor a driver's average speed.

20 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already takes license plate restrictions into account, in many parts of the world. To enable this feature, add your license plate details under Settings > Car details > License plate.

Speed camera alert problem
Waze only reports you of speed cameras if you’re going over the speed limit but it needs to alert you if there is a camera regardless you’re over the speed or not over because you could easily just speed up slightly accidentally right before.

About large vehicles
Waze currently does not support heavy vehicles. However, large vehicles also cause traffic congestion, so it would be better to deal with them in the future.

Speed traps notifications
Early notifications about speed traps inform you whenever you are in the area of the speed trap.

Can we please get speed limit data added to route previews? This is helpful for bike riders and motorcyclists. Seems like an easy add.
Speed limit data should be visible on the route map and preview. I am not referring to real time while driving speed limit (this exists and works great) rather when doing trip planning. For those of us with motorcycles or bikes we want to see the speed limit for a route.

Historical Speed Trap Zones
Gather police present reports from drivers and develop a warning for areas on roads where police usually set up speed traps. Create a speed trap button for user input.

Waze car icon bug in android auto
I only use waze for android auto and have the car icon setup as a convertible. After every Waze update, it resets this to the triangle, until I launch the Waze app manually on my phone

Card novos no Android Auto
Android Auto no Brasil foi atualizado e agora se parece muito com Apple carplay. Existem cards como Google Mapas, Spotify... Mas senti falta do card do Waze. Hoje é o aplicativo de mapas que utilizo, mas com essa nova mudança ficou muito mais prático e bonito a utilização do Mapas do Google. Que tal implementar o mesmo design ao Waze e voltar a ser o mais top?

Navigation Notifications not Auto Cancelling
In Android Auto on my Google Pixel I have noticed now that when I get a notification of a hazard, police, or speed can the notification stays on the screen after timeout if I don't hit "There" or "Not There". This means that I won't get any more notifications until I do. This is an issue for notifications that don't have those buttons like speed cams. I no longer get any notifications.
