Alert Settings
Please add a user setting for full or reduced alerting on roads usually travelled. The current regime of forced reduced alerting is causing confusion, map queries to WAZE and mistrust that WAZE is reliable. Not receiving alerts (regardless of alert settings) about driving behaviour cameras on usually travelled roads, as currently occurs when alerts reduce, defeats the purpose of using the app.

I like to see more options regarding speed cam
I like to see more options reg speed cameras. Such as opt "other side" or "lazer speed cam" etc

This suggestion will not be implemented for the time being. Adding more and more options to reporting, especially for less popular types of reports such as other side which will also require another window/card, is not something we are aiming for at the moment. Please be aware that other side reporting is already available by voice using the Google Assistant! We believe investing in voice can create essentially a better and more scalable experience and we hope to bring it to more languages soon.

Support timed Pedestrian and Cycle Zones
In the UK we have new timed pedestrian and cycle zones with cameras that are drivable only at certain times. These are typically near schools and mean the road is no longer usable. Data from this could be collected from Google Street-view for where the zones are and what times they operate to prevent Waze routing you through them when the pedestrian and cycle zone is in operation.

I have 3 suggestions what can be changed or added in app.
1. It will be nice, for me, if i can have outer temperature in navigation screen during driving. I have old car which dont have this feature by default.
App can refresh this very often if outer temperature feature is enabled in app during driving (navigation mode)

Danger zone entry and exit icons with Android Auto in France
Hello,
Would it be possible to improve the announcement of danger zones for France (because in our country, announcing the precise location of speed cameras is prohibited!)?
The ideal would be to have an icon when you enter and another icon when you leave a danger zone in addition to the voice announcement and the small frame at the top left.
If we could also have on the road, a color associated with danger zones as in the style of traffic announcements, to best indicate the duration of the zone.Other applications like Tomtom do so why not Waze!…

Refined UI
This may not pertain to most people, but for those of you who use the Waze app in the landscape view may have similar issues. First of all, the alert box for train crossings and red light cameras takes up approximately 40% of the bottom of the screen, as well as the direction arrows information covers the speed display. Some of the other icons are piled on top of each other. If the UI were to be more like the Android auto version of Waze or Gmaps it would be much better and easier to use.

Wave Hazard Spam
I have my sound option on Alerts Only and I get spammed w/ hazards and would like the option of turning off hazards, not only on the screen, but also on audio. I commute 45 minutes to work and 45 minutes home in Denver. I must pass 5 cars on the side of the road each way, and being on a freeway, it's more annoying than helpful, add in construction, red light cameras, and snow,, and the amount of alerts becomes annoying, especially as each one mutes my audio-book or Pandora and thus I miss a few lines in…

Apple car play issue
Waze when connected to apple car play sometimes doesn’t display or notify of upcoming speed cameras until it’s more or less too late.

Update map
There are no speed cameras or red light cameras in Cleveland. They got voted out a year or two ago. Please remove them from the map. Also, just because there are cones on the side of the road does not mean road works head. There is always construction but when I try to make X it out it never goes away, its all ways saying road works when it's just normal conditions with some barrels lined up off to side (i-77 and i-480) area.

New UI Android auto
I use Waze in Android auto even when not navigating to particular point. I have it open all the time to see updates on the road such as risk, traffic or speed cameras :) After connecting wirelessly to Android auto I always get popup suggesting addresses where I want to go. I have to tap small X button to close because it is covering half of the screen. This is happening after latest update and it is really distracting when I already drive. Connection wirelessly to Android auto takes 15-20 seconds after start so I already drive. Not safe.…

Vehicle head unit
Have WAZE installed on my vehicle’s touch screen head unit. Here are the “problems that I’ve come across, both would seem like easy upgrades to make?
a) When not actually navigating, 1/3 of the screen is used up with the search bar and my WAZE, resulting in limited visual info. There seems to be no way to get these to go away until needed.
b) audio alerts for speed cameras seem to have been removed? I get red light alerts but only a visual alert for fixed speed cameras.

There are a few more reportables needed. We need one for mobile speed cameras and one for reporting where there is road works and the speed limits, because it could change your route.

Many issues in the new update
Bus cameras are not showing or just randomly
Shortcuts or faster routes are gone, only on main roads even if there's traffic
The button to select alternatives routes is also gone...Bring back the previous version please

Wazecam
Bonjour, mon idée serait de pouvoir associer l utilisation de la caméra du téléphone ou du véhicule avec votre application. Cette amélioration pourrait apporter une sécurité sur l itinéraire des utilisateurs au même titre qu une dashcam. A charge à l utilisateur de l activer ou non. Déplus en cas d accident sur le trajet Waze et l utilisateur pourrait récupérer les enregistrements pour se défendre éventuellement.
Cette amélioration permettrer d éviter d avoir plusieurs dispositifs pour un même véhicule. Deplus maintenant avec car play l utilisateur pourrait même utiliser la caméra du véhicule directement.

ALPR location database
Would like ability to notate location of stationary and mobile license plate readers deployed on public roads. The same exact way in which red light and speed cameras are notated and reported on.

This is not an idea it is a correction.
The city of South Pasadena, FL did away with their red light cameras over a year ago as did Saint Petersburg, FL. When I am a passenger I alway hit the not helpful sign but nothing has changed.
