1. Option to automatically disable WiFi

   When transitioning from WiFi to 3G or vice versa, Waze often loses a connection and becomes useless, requiring us to restart the app. I imagine this would be a problem for anyone who drives by a wireless network that they use often (home, work, school, etc.) This could be avoided by giving the user the option to automatically disable WiFi connections within Waze. This option would prevent users from having to disable WiFi before starting Waze every time.

2. Truck routes

   Waze dev team,

   Please consider an option for drivers (Waze users) to enter in their vehicle height so that Waze can provide them with suitable routes, avoiding routes with low bridges/clearance?

   This would be applicable for truck drivers, tradespeople with work vans and work equipment on roof as well as casual drivers with trailers.

   Reason for this is to avoid the frequent low bridge collisions or congestion due to truck having to back out of road.

   In Australia, prior to GPS maps such as Waze or Google Maps, we used to have truck edition of paper maps or map books such as MELWAYS.

3. New instructions for crossroad junctions/interchange

   In the UK, there has been an ongoing debate on the most effective way to map crossroad junctions where drivers have to cross a main road without priority, as shown in this image:

   The default instructions do not include guidance for routes that go straight, leading to URs for missing instructions even when no turns are required. As there's no instruction, the driver may not realise they have to give way/stop, leading to a potential accident.

   If we were to add a "Continue" instruction, it may imply priority, which is not the case, and again, this may lead to an accident.

   This suggestion is to have two new instructions for these situations:
   - Stop, then continue
   - Give Way (or Yeild in US English) and continue

   This will inform the user that they need to take action, but a turn isn't involved and shouldn't lead to confusion.

4. One Touch Reports in Car Play / Android Auto - Customizable

   It would be great to have the ability to customize one-touch reports.
   See the attached imgur photo.
   In this case, I made vehicle on shoulder, police, and object on the road as my "One Touch."
   I also added a compass to the navigation bar on the bottom left. (The compass I used is far too busy for Waze.)

5. Only speed limit. Not current speed

   I want to see my speed limit always with a big size. I don't wish to see my current speed. A car can show us our current speed.
   But Waze shows both only and speed limit which I need most is very small. Why do we need to see our current speed there? Could you pls arrange settings for it?

6. Road Condition Rating/Grades

   Showing potholes is a great feature especially in snowy climate. It would also be great to rate the road and conditions. Such as a block feature or an avoidance feature. I traveled 20mph on a road label 50mph due to how terrible the conditions was, it felt like I hit a speed bump every 40 yards. I would label this road a "D", if I could avoid these roads like a less than "C" feature, that would be awesome. User ratings paired with GPS acceleration compared to the speed limit could really help avoid these disastrous neglected road and pick an adjacent route. Thanks for listening.

8. Wrong way driver alert

   Wrong way driver alert. Alert wazers if they enter a freeway on ramp going in the wrong direction also alert other wazers with a loud audible alarm (much like the Amber alert alarm) that there is a wrong way driver approaching.

9. Please turn off the "You parked here" pop-up or at least give the option to disable it.

   Stop trying to do too much!!! I don't need to know or share where I parked when I first start the app especially if I'm sitting in my car where I parked it. I want to enter my destination and go. If I want to share my location, I'll do so through the menu. Very annoying.

10. Integrate with Amazon Echo

    It would be absolutely magical if you could say to Alexa like:

    "Alexa, tell me when I need to leave in order to arrive at work by 9AM."

    "Alexa, let me know when my trip to would will only be 45 minutes."

11. Import map road closures from official sources

    Automatically import road closures from official government sources available on the web.

    In my area there are several government website that report road closures during storms or natural disasters. Scripts could be built to get the information from the web page, and automatically close/open/update road closures.

12. Make changes to the suggested route by touching the route I want on the map.

    Sometimes I want to make a specific change to the route by touching the map. For example; if I touch and hold a place on the map to signal that I want to go via this road instead of the suggested road, but still remain within the general route chosen.

    Make favorites list unlimited and allow for sharing favorites list with friends. This way people can use it for work of they use for multiple routes, and can share with colleagues.

15. license plate reporting / review review system for bad drivers

    Currently, there is no system of checks and balances for bad or dangerous drivers. If someone is driving recklessly, or dangerously (slamming on brakes, threatening people, road rage) the only recourse is 911, which doesn't always apply and would increase erroneous / wasteful emeergency calls which should be used for more important emergencies.

    If the DMV won't listen, then I hope application developers like Waze, or someone else would implement this feature so that bad drivers can be tracked and reported via license plate in a community fashion.

    Then hopefully, the DMV will do something and create a review program where you would have to re-certify for your license.

    With so many drivers in CA, it's not fair that the good drivers and bad drivers have the same rights on the road. Lets get the bad drivers off the road, and give people an incentive to drive safely. This will also reduce traffic.

16. Add more levels too Avoid Highway option

    With the Avoid Highway option off, Waze is way too aggressive in routing to freeways. The the Avoid Highway on, all types of highways are avoided from minor to freeway. There should be additional options to Avoid Freeways, Avoid Major Highways and Freeways.

    Yes, Waze is supposed to figure out the best route based on information without this level of direction, but in fact it does not, at least in some areas. These options would allow some user input based on experience in directing the routing.

    This would be especially useful for trips that include multiple type of environments such as rural, suburban, and cities.

19. Add "No lanes closed" response to "Waze Asks" card for roadworks alerts

    A recent unannounced change has added a "What do you see?" card when approaching a roadworks alert. The only response options are to report lane closures or to indicate that the roadworks are no longer there. There is no intuitive option to dismiss the question or respond that construction is still taking place but no lanes are closed.

    The majority of roadworks take place without any lane closures, yet the app assumes that closures will occur.
    Without an intuitive way to respond differently to a lane closure, many users seem to be selecting one of the closure options to dismiss the question, even when there are no closed lanes. Since this feature was introduced to the production app, most construction alerts have been changed to lane closure pins, resulting in incorrect warnings for all users passing by.

    Please provide an easy way to respond to the "What did you see?" card with something other than a lane closure, e.g. "Roadworks still there, but no lanes closed".

    This would avoid the often confusing question that is not relevant to the situation on the road, as well as incorrect warnings.

20. More integration with Apple CarPlay

    Will Waze ever have similar functionality, such as Apple Maps that more fully integrates in with Apple CarPlay, including the heads up display and the dashboard in addition to the navigation screen? I have a BMW and apples map capability, seamlessly integrates into the heads up display and the dash in addition to the NAV screen, and it would be great if Waze went through the same thing.
