  1. Display time stamp for waze recorded traffic.

    It would be nice to see how long ago waze recorded the traffic(speed of a user). Waze tried to reroute me because it said there was traffic ahead, but I continued and where it showed red on the map, there was no traffic at all.

  2. Allow user to adjust the speed of audio/TTS annoucements (0.5x, 0.8x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x)

    Spotify and YouTube allow users to control the speed of audios or videos.

    You can play audios or videos at speeds of 0.5x, 0.8x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x and 3x.

    I suggest the same should apply to Waze.

    Audio or TTS announcements could be faster or slower depending on the user's preferences.

  3. Ignore Wifi based location info

    Please Ignore Wifi based location, and only use physical GPS data.
    It happens when GPS signal lost, than inaccurate Wifi based location info provides location info and it is useless, as there are 3 street in the same wifi range.

  4. Disable "show on map reduced speed alerts"

    Disabling the option "show on map reduced speed alerts" should be available under reports according to google support for Android mobile.
    This option is not available tough.
    I want to be able to turn off the "reduced speed" reports.
    Please fix.

  5. user provided layout themes

    There are various requests for features of what Waze should/should not display on screen. It would be great if users could instead of just choosing a style, actually choose a (or create) a layout that another user has selected.

    Best option would be to provide the ablity to give shapes, and areas that can contain text. Eg.
    - Current speed (can then increase/decrease the speed display)
    - Average wazer speed on the current segment (so the potential speed limits could be shown)
    - Current road name
    - Text/images for popups
    - Destination ETA
    - Destination time
    - Destination name
    -…

  6. Radar de velocidade média - average speed radar

    It would be interesting, in these new “average speed” radars, that along the section in question, the green progression bar that appears in the application on the left side would turn red whenever the vehicle exceeds the allowed average. Here's the tip.

    Seria interessante, nestes novos radares de “velocidade média”, que ao longo do troço em questão, a barra de progressão verde que aparece na aplicação do lado esquerdo passasse a vermelho sempre que o veículo ultrapassasse a média permitida. Fica a dica.

  7. Speed is not readable that small. Also put the bloody sign into the box for speed camera so i can finally see the limit!

    Need the sign with the number in the box for speed alert box!! So many times i dont know the limit and the alert doesn't help at all!! Use the space that box is massive! Put the sign in it.

  8. Speed / red light camera alerts announced too early on local steeets

    Speed / red light camera alerts are announced too early on local steeets currently.
    Most of the time, the alert is announced over 750m away. And on local streets, it is very likely that there there would be multiple other intersections before reaching it. So by the time the actual camera location is reached, the alert is already forgotten.
    Please make it so that the camera alerts are announced closer to the actual camera while on city streets (around 200 - 250m). Or add a second alert when "approaching speed / red light camera", in addition to the current…

  11. Add alert/icon for police helicopters with speed radar in Romania

    I propose adding a specific alert or icon for police helicopters equipped with speed radar in Romania. These helicopters regularly monitor traffic on highways and national roads, similar to mobile speed radars.

    Benefits:

    Alerts drivers to maintain safe speeds, reducing accidents and speeding violations.

    The icon could be a helicopter with a radar symbol and function like the current mobile radar notifications.

    Provides real-time, relevant information to drivers without violating any laws.

    This feature would enhance road safety and improve the relevance of Waze for drivers in Romania.

    Here is a current list of locations for speed cameras. Many of the ones on the waze map are out of date. Please update!

  13. Option to turn off alerts for speed cameras on regularly traveled roads

    It is helpful to have speed camera alerts on roads you’re new to or rarely travel on.

    However it’s disruptive when you get alerts for speed cameras you regularly pass while commuting.

    Using basic pattern recognition software on regular routes drivers could be provided the option to turn off camera alerts for the specific route(s).

    This suggestion will not be implemented for the time being. Adding more and more options to reporting, especially for less popular types of reports such as other side which will also require another window/card, is not something we are aiming for at the moment. Please be aware that other side reporting is already available by voice using the Google Assistant! We believe investing in voice can create essentially a better and more scalable experience and we hope to bring it to more languages soon.

  16. SPLIT: I don’t like that others can see my speed

    I don’t like that others can see my speed if I use that part of the app so I can watch my speed. Can authorities access that info ever??? Because I do speed sometimes and I don’t want others seeing or recording my speed...

  17. Waze horizontal average speed zone lone

    When driving in average speed zone in vertical view i can see a light blue line that indicates i am still in the average speed zone but when in horizontal view i can't see it. Please add this line to the map when it's horizontal. When i am in my car and driving this is important for me and other drivers.

  18. Temporary recording of speed and location

    Please add a setting where you can record the last 2-5-10 minutes of a commute with speed, location and a timestamp. This could allow us to help defend ourselves against police errors. Ive been pulled over twice this year on the highway whit the cruise set to 120kph and the police told me they snapped me a 138 and 130 witch is not possible. It would be nice to have some kind of proof to back me up in the future. People could set this up when creating the account or even disable it for more speed in…

  19. Speed trap vs police monitoring construction area.

    I would like for a way to distinguish between police out for a speed trap and those that are out monitoring a construction zone. Many times people list police out but they are blocking a freeway exit or something else and aren't trying to hand out speeding tickets

  20. The vehicle speed set to 0 and map display jumps on GPS blinds spots

    The Speed Problem:
    I noticed that when the car enters a cave my speed per hour gets reset back to 0 and when I leave the cave it goes back.

    Plus - The Map Display Problem:
    When I get inside the cave the map display feature of the car/arrow icon stops working:
    (the car/arrow icon would stop moving and then jump back to the end of the cave when I leave).
