I-4 Ultimate Express Lanes
The new express lanes on I-4 through Orlando, aka I-4 Ultimate, are finally finished. While they physically show up on the Waze map display, they're never recognized as roads whenever anyone drives on them and it just freaks out thinking I am either on the normal I-4 lanes or somewhere off route. They also are never offered as routes and no doubt save a ton of time when the downtown Orlando traffic is backed up.

Make the speedometer adjustable
Make the speedometer display adjustable to whatever the user sets. Just as a display. It should match the speed on the dashboard. Because that's what people rely on, not the satellite speed on their small screens.
If I'm driving 100km/h and the app keeps saying 90km/h then allow me to enter +10 constantly so it can match the speedometer on the dashboard.

Android Auto now displays directions in split-screen, on google maps you can click the icon and shows in full screen, please implement this

Toll booth waiting time
Everytime I stop at a toll booth, the app asks if there is traffic jam. Instead of that, it would be nice to have toll booths identified in the map and once near it, the app would calculate the average time users are spending on each site, excluding fast passages as they would represent tagged vehicles. To display it, a bar similar to traffic jam would do just fine. With that, the ETA would be less affected by long lined in toll booths.

Vehicle head unit
Have WAZE installed on my vehicle’s touch screen head unit. Here are the “problems that I’ve come across, both would seem like easy upgrades to make?
a) When not actually navigating, 1/3 of the screen is used up with the search bar and my WAZE, resulting in limited visual info. There seems to be no way to get these to go away until needed.
b) audio alerts for speed cameras seem to have been removed? I get red light alerts but only a visual alert for fixed speed cameras.

Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)
Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.
This is not only inconvenient but also reduces overall safety.It’s especially surprising because:

For Roadkill, Use a Deer head Icon with X's on his eyes
It would be great if you could have a picture of an animal like a deer (everywhere in Ohio) with X's on his eyes indicating he is dead. Funny too.

Option to change speech/sound/mute/do not show notifications
The current situation is that I can choose for each alert Show on map on / off, Warn while driving on / off. What should be is that it should be possible to choose from a menu: Do not warn / Warn on display only / Warn with a 'ding' sound / Warn with a voice 'Caution...'

Disable message "Thanks You helped nearby Wazers"
I am getting the message "Thanks You helped nearby Wazers" after reporting an issue and am then unable to see the information at the bottom of the screen (including ETA and distance) until I restart the app. This started happening to me a couple weeks ago. Based on previous suggestions (some from over 10 years ago), you are supposed to be able to go into Settings - Notifications and "turn off Thanks Message" but that's no longer an option. I have turned off all push notifications in the settings, and that does not work, either. The only solution I have…

Bathroom Finder on Route
Have an obvious button and/or a voice command to display (and when selected, route to) public bathrooms along your route. In settings, you should be able to select categories, like "rest area," "gas station or restaurant with restrooms," and distance from route (either in time or miles), etc. in order to establish a default search and display when the "show restrooms" switch is toggled.

Android Auto - Arrange Display based on left or right hand drive and Icon Size and Speed
To save the person stretching to the other side of the screen to click an icon. If you have to stretch to reach it may impact your driving direction, and how long you need to look at the screen for.
For me the Reporting something panel appears on the non-driver side.
Adapt the screen so that icons you click on are always on the drivers side.
When half screen mode, you can not report anything anyway, so consider also making, bigger icons and going through two panels may also be better.

Improved UI for navigation & alerts sound opptions
A suggestion for an easier user operation and experience -
Currently, selecting the sound options - All, Alerts Only or None, requirs 3 clicks -
* Click the sound icon on the main display to open a pop-up window.
* Select one of the 3 sound options.
* Approve the change.Instead, the sound icon on the main display could be implemented and function as a toggle button, changing between the 3 sound options upon each click on it, and reflecting its status by a different icon display - All, Alerts Only or None

Show real-time traffic problems anywhere you scroll the map
It's not always possible to create a route to somewhere, especially if you want to know about traffic problems on roads heading towards you.
Would be great to be able to see real-time traffic reports anywhere you scroll the map to; whether locally or 200 miles away.

Show Junction ( intersection ) numbers on Reports ahead
After the Route is selected Waze can display "Reports Ahead" or they pop-up on your journey, Each report is given a distance, type and location. e.g 81.8 miles / Heavy Traffic / Flore.
Unfortunately I have no idea where "Flores" is. So it is difficult to relate to where in my journey this delay is.
What would be much better would be to use the Road and Junction numbers ( US: Intersection numbers).
The locations are often small towns i have never heard of.
E.g. If it showed " 81.8 miles / Heavy Traffic / M1 J14-J15 near Flore" that…2 votes -
Be able to select or find individual addresses on the map
I want to be able to see and select individual addresses instead of just blocks. It's very annoying when I want to look for a specific address but Waze stubbornly doesn't show it. There isn't even an option for it. My idea is to have an option to display individual addresses in the 'maps display' setting, and when it does that, it displays the addresses and roads like Google maps, which does it way better.
