Add route style 'safe and simple' & 'eco-drive'
Selecting 'safe and simple' route will navigate you with safe wide roads without to many small cuves and turns. It might nog be the fastest of shortest but will avoid danger. Selecting 'eco-drive' caculates the most environmental friendly route and minimizes fuel consumption and pollution, just add you car and engine type in the settings menu and Waze will calculate your eco-ride.

Add Highway Vignette expiration support
In Hungary (and in most of the nearby countries) Highway vignettes can have multiple expiration days: 1 year, 10 days, 1 month, etc. It would be great, if Waze would know/track, if a certain vignette is expired and avoid routing on the highways ( or ask if I've purchased a new one)

No left without light option
I find too option Waze has me make Left turns where there is no Lights at these very difficult intersections. I think an option to avoid left left turns without lights altogether would be much easier and much safer. It would definitly benefit me.

obstacle avoidance
When you come upon a road that is closed, it would be helpful to have an option where you can avoid an obstacle directly ahead causing Waze to recompute your route to destination. Thank you!

Lane select for object
Select lane by number. “ Object in lane three ahead”. That way if I’m in Lane one I don’t need to worry about it

Second and third lane early warnings
Second and third lane early warnings. Through many of my travels in south america i often have to pass busses, trucks or slow cars. Many times i had to pass them on a straight with high visibility, but sometimes i had to pass or a short straight. Many of those times i'd just pass them and a second or third lane would open after a hill or very short time. All of those times that this happened, i always had the same thought "i wish Waze had an early warning of a second and third lane for passing heavy and…

Have a quick log in that first responders can log in to list accidents lane closures and length of time of accident.
Give first responders a quick and easy way to log in and give details on lane closers and length of time lanes will be closed. This is for the safety of the motorist and the emergency personnel on scene. Would also help if we could look and see how far traffic is backed up.

Police speed trap trends
Instead of only showing current police speed traps, have a toggle options for where police tend to sit and wait. "police hot zone" kind of idea. "police have been reported at this time for the last three days" kind of warning. This will not only help avoid tickets, but get people to slow down in the more "dangerous" areas

Further customizability in route options for drivers (enthusiast drivers)
Not only do, I feel like the special voices should have street names as well, especially in the age of advanced speech to text and artificial intelligence, but I also feel strongly that there should be more customizability for route options as it relates to those who enjoy the art of driving… there are toggles to avoid freeways and avoid unpaved roads, but why not a toggle for someone who enjoys the freeways, but also enjoys a fun route with minimal traffic… Something along the lanes of a “enthusiast toggle” where it shows a dynamic route with fun, challenge, curves…

entering an accident
I would like to address you with one suggestion. I'm an everyday user of Waze and I came up with one small adjustment that might help.
When entering an accident, would it be possible to add to the application the option to mark the lane where the accident occurred? At the moment, it is written in the accident report, but few people read here. I often see situations where cars change into another lane, for example on the highway at the last minute, and this change could help to make the lanes smoother before the accident.Existing accident marking on…

Add an option where you can choose whether you will be using a carpool lane so that
Add an option where you can choose whether you will be using a carpool lane so that traffic and ETA data are more accurate. If many members in a given area are using carpool lanes, they will bring the average speed up and ETA will be sooner than actual. There are times where my ETA has increased by 30 minutes on a 1 hour drive.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Add information/instructions on when to add a pass
My suggestion is for the following feature:
Either:
Add an information panel when users enter the Toll and HOV passes page for the first time, informing them that adding passes may route them into areas or through restricted roads.
Or:
Allow us to add information against each pass/permit, giving the user guidance as to what each pass is for.My suggestion solves this problem:
There is less chance that the user will select a pass/permit that they shouldn’t have due to the misunderstanding of how the pass system works. In more words:
Now that Passes/Permits that users have added to…19 votes -
To add the Number Coding Scheme here in Metro Manila Philippines.
Please add the number coding scheme option for your users in Metro Manila Philippines. This will help users to fully optimize the use of their vehicles during "coding day." This will also help users avoid purchasing second or multiple cars to avoid the coding. The volume of cars here does not match the capacity of our roads.

Semaphores
Waze could have an algorithm to detect where are the semaphores in the city, and keep how long they take to open, to avoid the semaphores that take longer.
There are some semaphores in São Paulo that take too long to open. It would be very useful to avoid them.5 votes -
Warning of Stone/Rock throwing along a certain route
Sadly in Israel this is a reality and a warning to avoid that route could save lives. Another hazard form option.

Sharing phone accelerometer data as an early warning to slow
Imagine being able to see around corners to know that someone has just braked really hard up ahead
or swerved lanes? Waze could collect acceleration data and use it as an early warning to cars behind. The DriveScore app uses the same phone accelerometer data to provide personal driving style feedback to the owner. But wouldn't it be so much better to share it with the cars nearby?
As an example, if every driver in lane 3 of a motorway is slowing, changing lanes then speeding up again at the same static location, there will likely be a common…

Add a HOT/HOV lane on-screen toggle
Please add an on-screen toggle when the HOT/HOV lane is coming up. Many people have different times they use the lanes. For instance, I always use the HOV lane when I have another passenger, but obviously never use it when I am alone. For the HOT lane, I only use it if the cost is under a couple dollars. I've seen it go up in the teens, and that is way too much. I only make these decisions while already driving because I'm not thinking about them at the start of the trip in the suburbs. If I'm driving…
