Android Auto parked location
On Android Auto, Google maps pops up a little box that you tick to save your parking location. Not ideal but it works. I would rather have it work automatically. But it's better than nothing. Which is what Waze has. Waze has no option on Android Auto to save a parking location. Automatic or otherwise. The Carplay version of Waze does this. Please implement.

A "heatmap" showing roads you have previously driven on and how often similar to Stravas "Personal Heatmaps"
A map showing roads you have previously driven on and how much, the more used the road is the "hotter" it appears on the map. Then you can boast to your mates about how much of your town/county/country you have driven around!

Speedometer color
Speedometer needs a different background color then black.when over the limit speed turns red and with the black background so hard to see!!!! Google Maps uses white and you can see so much better!!!!

auto translate street names language to english or to any language by choice from general settings menu
any tourist arround the world would love it , and its easy to apply using google translate engine inside waze map.

View a larger area of the map on phone while driving.
Please give the option to view a larger area of the map while driving. When on auto-zoom it's really close and you cannot see the road at least a few miles ahead.

I need suport on this as I've tried to get Waze to make this adjustment but they keep saying enough people have to agree
It seems crazy to me that you can so easily post a vehicle stopped on the side of the road...not effecting traffic at all...yet there is no option to report a vehicle broken down in the middle of Freeway lanes, causing a monumental traffic jam! There is an option for roadkill!!! Like a squashed squirrel is really going to impact your journey...but nothing for a vehicle. I had this problem happen to me. Wrong Location on the Map
ATTENTION: Waze! Many delivery drivers get lost because you included Bagong Pagasa in Quezon City, Philippines with Project 6 in Quezon City, Philippines. Bagong Pagasa is a SEPARATE barangay from Project 6. Both have the same place names, in numbers. As a result of your error, for example, drivers who need to go to Road 2 in Project 6 get lost to Road 2 in Bagong Pagasa! This is a big inconvenience for both drivers and residents of Bagong Pagasa. You need to fix this error in your maps now!

Route Preview Option
You select a route, then press the "Route Preview" button. Map view will then zoom to your current location and travel down the selected route as if you were driving. The map pans down the route so that you can see all the things you will be dealing with along the way without having to scroll around the map with your finger. Adding a "preview speed (1x, 2x, 3x, etc)" and a "pause preview" option would be a great addition to this.

It would be better to have a full screen map. Make a floating search box, and the menu could appear swiping to the right.

Gray and Red Scale Night Mode Map
Have you thought of creating a night map mode with a red hue (as opposed to blue) as red does not interfere with night vision?

can we get an option to prioritise motorways
I just looked up how to get somewhere and google maps gives me 3 routes, all going right through the centre of town which while maybe faster than going a longer route of out to the motorway then back in on the other side of town, it would be far preferable.

Needs to show and CALL OUT stop signs and traffic lights as needed for turns.
In addition to showing stop signs and lights, call them out as needed for turns (instead of the distance). Apple Maps actually does a good job with this, a good example to follow.

Show real-time traffic problems anywhere you scroll the map
It's not always possible to create a route to somewhere, especially if you want to know about traffic problems on roads heading towards you.
Would be great to be able to see real-time traffic reports anywhere you scroll the map to; whether locally or 200 miles away.

Tassos from Greece: By my opinion Waze has one great positive and one negative ..
positive :
that its great in changing really fast routing in real time especially in city center of Athens according traffic jam ..negative : that outside center , its prehestoric .. a lot of roads are missing, every user (that knows it ) does editing all the time ,
where you could adapt a FULL map of Google (as i thing Google bought waze , isnt it ? ) or openstreetmap ..
and we, the users that only edit if there is wrong in direction for example , ONLYYYY ..
editing , and filling new roads for me looks…

New color for current route on map that contrasts from the color of the other roads
The route color, especially on Apple Maps, that is light blue is almost the exact same color as all the other roads that are greyish blue. It’s hard to know which road to take sometimes because they are all the same color. I’d love if the route was a different color or stood out more.

Allow a user-selected zoom to STAY until user re-centers map
Many times I want to keep Waze at a certain zoom level for a long time, but Waze automatically resets the zoom and re-centers by itself. What's wrong with letting the user set AND KEEP a particular zoom level until canceled by the user, with or without keeping the map centered on current position. It's very annoying to have to keep readjusting Waze to show what I want to see!
