Remaining travel time instead of toll value
If there are tolls involved on the route, its being showed the toll value instead of the remaining travel time. It should always show the remaining travel time or there should be an options to choose what to show.

Throw out speeding data from ETA.
Please add an option that does not factor vehicles driving over the speed limit into ETA. It would be nice to have an accurate arrival time if you are not driving above the speed limit.

Visualize BEST TIME TO LEAVE for a given destination (red to green). Save time if you know the peaks.
Problem
You know where to go, but want to know what would be the best time to leave to avoid peak traffic.
At the moment you a ETA, which is nice to know but doesn't help you to plan.Idea
You plan a route, get an ETA and a option to choose the best time for leaving. Could be a color coded (green to red) 24h hour-by-hour "forecast" of expected travel time (graph or simple list). When showing „Routes”, to be able to select „best average-speed route”, because many drivers prefer a longer but a more pleasant drive to a shorter but full of stops and traffic jams one. Driving faster is part of the pleasure of driving.
Especially in very busy areas, this option would be more than welcomed.
Driving is a pleasure per se, but not if you just stay in line, stuck in traffic jams.4 votes -
Stop the limits
When I tried to report potholes (there were a lot of them), in order to report accurate information to the Public Works department, so they could fix it the issue.
When is this going to be updated, so that anyone can report as many potholes as there are in reality?
It would be nice to be able to have direct contact to Public Works departments as well, so they could know about the issue. The report should stay on the map for everyone to know, until the problem is actually solved (pothole filled up to quality standard specification).2 votes -
Audio alerts for speed and red light cameras
My audio alerts for speed and red light cameras stopped working a few months ago. I'm running waze directly on my phone (Google pixel 7) with the latest version of Android OS and waze app installed. My settings for alerts are correct. I see the flashing camera on the map and text alert on the screen but audio alerts are not working. I live in NYC where cameras are on every other block. Constantly monitoring the phone screen for visual alerts while driving is annoying and dangerous. I see lots of similar posts with replies from waze that the issue…

UK time restrictions (School Streets)
Monday to Friday
No entry between 8am and 9:15am."
And 2:45pm and 4:00pm."There are loads of these signs in hundreds of cities all over the UK especially London. Can't we allow for local map editors to save time based restrictions into the map?

Good idea is to add the option to chose critical overspeeding threshold (in km/miles like 2-5 mph for 70 mph speed limit or use percentage). Flash (with sound) the screen when overspeeding or near of overspeeding occurs. And double/multiply earned points for safe and active drivers :) in dependence of time slot like a rush hour or happy hour or last week :) hope it helps!

Add a mechanism (button or gestuer) that would take an immediate screen shot and overlay it with the current speed and coordinates
If being pulled over by a cop the user could push the button and get a map with the overlayed speed, the average speed for the last ~10 seconds, date and time and the gps coordinates. This information could be used to convince the cop or the court you weren't speeding.

i have used waze for years, but getting a new car the speed waze shows a always off by about 35%. is there a way to correct the speed shown.

Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.

Allow longer time to report road closure.
When I come upon a road closure, I need to avoid emergency vehicles and workers, and be careful of other traffic. Once I get clear of the incident, I try to report it. But by that time, Waze won't let me select the intersection where the problem was. It seems that you must be in the immediate are of the road to report an issue. This often means that I am unable to report road closure issues when I encounter them. Waze should allow a longer time to report closures. (Why is there any limit at all? I may…

Please add a filter based on vehicle size. An example would be a large RV based on height and length vs a small compact car.

Pay for Parking based on location/zone
Waze knows where I park and it would be really cool if I could just enter my credit card data and rely on Waze for automatic payment.
Maybe also navigate me to the best value parking lot and open the barrier for me :)

Display traffic jam time delay on the map.
When browsing the map, Waze currently only shows the average movement speed of traffic jams. Perhaps show this as average time spent in the traffic jam, or estimated time to pass through the traffic jam, instead?

Please make the speed icon in the lower left corner larger with better contrasting colours. I find it difficult to read.
