Auto Shutdown at Destination
When arriving at your destination have Waze prompt an Auto-Shutdown with a 10 second countdown. I always shutdown my Waze when I arrive and instead of having to click menu and then shutdown, why not have Waze offer to do it automatically. This will also save battery if people forget.

Synchronisatie android automotive
Het is handig als waze op de telefoon synchroniseert met Wees op Android auto motive. Dat lijkt nu niet te kunnen en het gaat in ieder geval niet automatisch.

Don't limit the number of reports that can be submitted, limit the points given instead. Better to have more current info avail for drivers.
Today I exceeded my limit for the number of reports I could submit. I was not aware there was a limit, but this happened just as I was trying to report an accident on the freeway. I am on the roads early each morning and would think the more info submitted for the rush hour the better. Instead of limiting how many reports can be submitted, if abuse is a concern, why not just limit the points that can be earned from submitting points within a certain amount of time. Prevent speed camera warning from coming up after dismissing notification {x} number of times.
If you use Waze for your daily commute, you pass the same speed cameras and traffic lights every day. I would suggest that if you dismiss the speed camera or traffic light warning popup {x} number of times (where {x} is a preset default, or user configurable) then Waze knows you know there is a speed camera there and will prevent the popup. Too many popups mean you naturally learn to ignore them.

Auto-Zoom range settings
We need a Minimum and Maximum Zoom range for auto zoom. I have a widescreen in one of my cars and the Auto Zoom goes out too far making the Hazard bubbles just small circles and easy to miss or ignore. In another car the screen is smaller and doesn't zoom out as far at same speeds and the bubbles are larger and easier to see.

Change the speed camera icon
The speed camera icon has recently changed to a new one however it blends in too much so I can be very misleading, the old speed camera icon was fine and was very noticeable compared to everything else (especially when you have a route inputted in)

improve Speeding Alerts
Could the speed indicator be improved in this way: Right now, the speeding icon stays white up to the speed limit, then as soon as 1 mph over, it goes red. I have my alert threshold set to 10% over the speed limit. I would prefer if the speeding icon does not go red until that 10% overage is exceeded. Otherwise the icon would be red most of the time, as most people drive a few mph over the speed limit. And having it red most of the time defeats the warning. It only needs…

new version is a mess!!! do not connect with android auto

What did you do to the application after a new version since April?
1) it does not connect with android auto to see the app on the car screen
2) to use the car screen you have to generate the route from the phone and then connect to the car
3) the icons in wase are very small that they do not allow an easy visualization and not with the same order that we were used to
4) It is very slow when you want to move the map with your fingers, it is not fast or effective

Reduce speed ahead alert
Would be nice to have pop-up similar to railway crossings showing reduce speed ahead. Example would be driving on 70 km per hr route that changes to 50 km per hr.

Accurate speed
When using Apple Car Play, my speed is continuously 12+mph over what I am actually doing. I can use the app on my phone just fine it’s accurate within + or - 2mph. I am confused as to why my truck displays such a difference. Brand new truck, brand new iPhone. All updates to apps and devices as required.

Roll back android auto update
its broken to the point that its completely unusable in a 10 gen civic.
the resolution seems to be set far too large for the small center console screen. What shows is a button that is far tool to show it appropriately, and the map looks like...well around the edges of the button you can sort of see some map and it seems to zoom really far out (while city driving).
you cant see anything, around whatever button that is, let alone use it for anything.
to make it worse, someone bright idea to make it default to have buttons…

One Touch Reports in Car Play / Android Auto - Customizable
It would be great to have the ability to customize one-touch reports.
See the attached imgur photo.
In this case, I made vehicle on shoulder, police, and object on the road as my "One Touch."
I also added a compass to the navigation bar on the bottom left. (The compass I used is far too busy for Waze.)39 votes -
Can we get a known speed trap alert
Some areas are just known for speed traps. Maybe some kind of algorithm that logs how many drivers ping certain areas for speed traps for a period of time before its considered a "Known speed trap". This alert can be optional in carplay etc.
