In Maryland, DC, and Virginia, new STOP Sign cameras have arrived. We need the ability to add Stop Sign Camera alerts. I know, there only a
Add Stop Sign Camera alerts will be very helpful. Developing features now before municipalities start approving and installing hundreds in each municipality around the country. Thanks

Request for Full BMW iDrive 7 Integration (Cluster + HUD Support via CarPlay & Android Auto)
Hello Waze Team,
I’m writing as a dedicated Waze user and BMW owner who strongly believes that Waze deserves full integration into the driver’s cockpit — not just the center screen.
I currently use Waze on a BMW G20 330i xDrive (2021, iDrive 7) with the latest versions of iOS + CarPlay and Android + Android Auto (tested on both platforms). At this time, navigation only appears on the main display, while the instrument cluster and head-up display (HUD) remain inactive — which limits driver comfort, focus, and overall safety.
I would like to formally request that Waze enable support…

Navigation using the intent "google.navigation:.." doesn't work
"google.navigation:q=$lat,$lng&mode=d"
We have an android application using this intent to start navigation. Until recently this feature had been working and users could choose which app to launch - GoogleMaps or Waze. Now, they are reporting Waze navigation is not working, but googlemaps navigation does. Why is waze reporting to system it supports this kind of intent when in fact it does not? Will it be fixed inside the Waze App?

Have real residents of certain cities volunteer for giving directions around their cities
I think it would be cool to have voice directions from real residents of cities to tell you where you're going. For example, I'm from Houston, TX, and I would love to do the voice directions for my city, especially since I can pronounce some of the stranger-named streets and roads.

Show map and directions immediately after entering a destination
An option to switch off the route summary after choosing a destination would be useful. This summary hijacks your screen and it is not always easy to hit OK while driving. This screen will pop up sometimes when a connection is lost and then restored

Directions and Timing for Bicycle and Walking
It would be amazing if Waze could add directions and timing for bicycles and walking. I was flabbergasted to find these features weren’t in the App when I needed walking directions in NYC, New York, and again when I got lost and was looking for directions while cycling in downtown San Antonio, Texas. I’m always hoping and waiting for these features to be added with each update. Please consider adding walking and cycling to the App.

Alert selection
there's a feature to have alerts only, but not one to have directions only. This seems so obvious. Even better would be to select which alerts you're notified about. The vehicle on shoulder seems to be abused by those seeking to collect points. Police and objects on road are important, but rarely is a vehicle on the shoulder a legitimate hazard.

Navigation Option: No notifications for a specified radius from home (Do I need turn directions to get out of my neighborhood?)
Allow a user defined radius where turn by turn instructions are not announce for areas familiar to the driver, i.e. driving out of their neighborhood or the route to the interstate. Allow warnings and alerts to be announced so driver may decide to reroute.

Why not announce worldwide the following two upgrades to your app to help fight the pandemic:
1) Add icons to flag coronavirus status:
Healthy, contacted someone with symptoms,
, i have symptoms, confirmed, passed the disease and im healthy again.2) Allow for newbies to use these icons from the start.

Miscellaneous Suggestions - Reporting Items Not There and Hazards
I would suggest having the ability to select reports and mark them as not there. For instance, oncoming traffic reports of speed traps or traffic that have since cleared up but not timed out.
Also reporting a road hazard of disabled vehicle on the road. Currently there's vehicle on shoulder and you can report an accident on the road. We should be able to note a disabled vehicle blocking one lane.
Lastly there should be the ability to note in an accident if it's affecting both sides (when EMS responds from both directions and closes lanes), when the road…

Introduce a Waze for trucks and caravans
Increasingly people are relying more and more on navigation. The app provides the quickest and most direct routes which is great for normal circumstances. However, trucks, Lorrie’s, large motor homes are not taken into consideration. I live near a golf course where a small road crosses the fairways and we are seeing more and more large vehicles on a road which is totally unsuitable for them and can often get stuck. There needs to be a version which keeps trucks and towing vehicles on appropriate roadways. There are ‘caravan related sat nav’s such as Co pilot and perhaps Waze can…

Create an app for the Samsung Galaxy Watch? Or at least integrate the watch into the Android Application so the directions show on the Watch.

I love the app use it almost every day!
I have several ideas to improve the Waze app.
• Bring back the police and on road icons, this enables us to see relative distance to reporting
• Allow mobile and directional reporting of police
• Allow inside or outside lane reporting of hazards
• Post reports of police both directions as we have officers who wait in median
• Allow directions to closest officer for emergency use.
• Allow return to normal speed after clearing of congested roadways

RPPs should allow alternate street names
Residential Place Points are limited to a single entry for the Street Name field. This creates an issue when streets have multiple names, not just officially but also in signage at different intersections.
An example, local to myself, is OR-99W. This is a state route, so it has its numbered designation (OR-99W), as well as its route name, which is carried through every city it traverses (Pacific Highway West). I love WAZE! But...The verbal prompts are too late to turn. It doesn't give you enough warning to turn.
Verbal prompts are so late that many times we miss the turn. This can be really bad if you're on loops that don't allow you off for many miles! Ask me how I know!!! Please fix this. Otherwise I love this app. But, this one issue has caused me to start using other GPS apps.

PRICE MATCHING
Gas apps could provide the consumer with a way to start making gas stations compete with each other on pricing much like grocery stores, etc. I believe most retailers offer price matching and or acceptance of competitor coupons so maybe having these apps can start forcing gas stations to become a little bit more competitive within their communities. For the consumer that penny or two difference ultimately doesn't really make a huge difference to us but maybe also by doing this we can start teaching them to be less greedy because that penny across the thousands of people pumping gas…

Record a reminder for the end of The ride before starting it
Record a reminder/note for myself before starting the ride and hear it when I end it, for example:
- Remind me to take the bag from the trunk.
- Remind me to empty the trash can.
- Remind me to fold the side mirrors.
