Navigation: option to avoid cobblestone, brick streets. This would be very appreciated by car drivers, motorcyclists. Android user.
I hate it when I get navigated down a cobblestone or brick street. You have to crawl along so your teeth don't fall out. I'd rather take a longer route than drive over these streets here in Seattle.

Ghost driver alert
A new alert would be interesting to have to alert drivers on a specific route that a ghost driver is coming their way and that they should be cautious, maybe telling them to stay in a lane and to reduce their speed.

Toll
I wish that there was a better way to handle toll roads. I live in an area surrounded by toll roads. It is cost prohibitive to use them all of the time. It is critically necessary to use them at other times. Unfortunately, you can have either of these situations several times in a single day. It is impractical to change the setting to avoid toll roads multiple times in a day. In my mind the best solution would be for us to have a user setting that determines when tollroads would be used. User coud select correct lane
In my country (Brazil), there are many places with Express & Local lanes running side by side.
In that case when Waze makes the route and the traffic changes quickly, I decide to choose a different lane (for exemple express instead of local), I wanted to be able to "touch" the screen and select the correct lane, so Waze could re-route and show me the rights options to continue my route.

Bring back auto start route
My Waze is automatically starting when I start driving.
In the past it would check my calendar, if an appointment wit location is available it offers this location. Otherwise it would offer work/home as destination. After some time it started the navigation.Currently Waze is still offering a destination. But I have to manually start navigating (which could be a huge fine)
I saw some old complaints about this function. But please bring it back with a setting for the people who don't like it.

Danger Area
I suggest creating a dangerous areas alert feature as slums, streets or dangerous areas, with danger degree (high, medium or low) for assault, burglary, vandalism, etc. And the system always warn approach. The user can configure whether you want a route that deviates from the area or not, as you prefer the user.

Automatic Paving
Why doesn't paving come on automatically when driving along an unmapped route? This would make it safer than having to stop then follow all the steps to start paving etc

Truck routes
Waze dev team,
Please consider an option for drivers (Waze users) to enter in their vehicle height so that Waze can provide them with suitable routes, avoiding routes with low bridges/clearance?
This would be applicable for truck drivers, tradespeople with work vans and work equipment on roof as well as casual drivers with trailers.
Reason for this is to avoid the frequent low bridge collisions or congestion due to truck having to back out of road.

Road width restrictions
In Europe we often get width restrictions on certain roads. This could be added at Map edit level and integrated with navigation route planning and would need a new set of parameters in the vehicle details/settings that would determine if your vehicle can actually take advantage of routes which have width restrictions!!

Waze update has altered the route options, seemingly imitating the style used by Google Maps. Why on earth are they copying that approach? It’s shorter, yes, but far more confusing. I highly doubt anyone appreciates this change. Could you revert it to the previous format?

An option to tell Waze it's got me pointed in the wrong direction
When I'm trying to add a stop before I start driving and Waze has me pointed in the wrong direction, it'll suggest stops that are further off-route than it realizes because once I get started the route will be recalculated based on my actual direction of travel. If I could just tap the "me" icon and say "point me the other way!" that'd be tremendously helpful.

Stop route planning screen flicking
Stop the screen issue please when planning a trip, if the time of input is close to midnight it start flicking and can't process the action due to the day difference

Adjust the font size on Apple Carplay when viewing the suggested routes
The font is too big on the suggested routes page on Apple Carplay meaning that it's not possible to see the journey time and distance for each of the suggested routes. The text is truncated. I have to unplug my phone from the car to see the full route information.

Only report and show hazards / etc on your side of the road
When viewing the map or receiving alerts, add an option to only report items on the side of the road you are driving and/or you are routed on. As a "reverse commuter" I constantly see hazards on my route but they are usually on the other side. It makes viewing the map for issues very difficult, almost unusable.

This new update is difficult to shut off need to go back to older version. Change of existing running route is difficult to modify.
I will be canceling my app if changes are not made for a user friendly app. Turning off app was easier modification of route was easy. Why change it when it was working great. Hope to see these changes soon
