Please make the 2 bars on Waze disappear in Landscape mode
in Landscape mode the 2 bars stay on the bottom of the screen and literally cuts the visible part of the map in half.

Move hazard button
The hazard button should be moved from right of display screen to left for CarPlay. Currently I have a wide display that requires me to lean just to reach it.
It also should be made a bit bigger as it’s hard to hit it with the leaning.

Dark mode - black background
We need darker dark mode! Gray streets on black background, as the Android Auto screen is now too bright, when driving at night!

Add an option to share a drive from the CarPlay screen when using Apple CarPlay without having to open the waze on your phone.

North up changes desperately needed
I am trying to use Waze with the map displayed in the direction I’m actually going, North Up, Because with the map always moving what is actually North to just keep my direction always going towards the top of the screen one loses all perspective on where things are. When one would read a paper map one would always keep the map north up, that way you could always learn your relative position to other places. Give reason for suggested route change.
- Have tone or spoken message that there is a suggested route change to draw your attention to something on the screen.
- Have the message stay on screen until acknowledged.
- Have default to stay on selected route, if reason is just quicker by a few minutes or shorter.
- Only change route IF traffic is blocked or significant delay due to accident or some other non normal event.

Problem with new version. Please, please, please...
I own an AppRadio car stereo, which worked perfectly with Waze on my iPhone until last week when I updated Waze (now, two versions ago). Now, some Navigation lists won't not scroll on my AppRadio touchscreen (ie. I can no longer touch-&-drag 1) my Recents list on the main "Navigate" screen, 2) my "Favorites" list, and 3) any "Search results" list after I pick a Category. All other touch functions work (as far as I know), and I am still able to touch-&-drag through the "Categories" list itself (for some reason).

Ability to add obstructions offline
Wish there was a way to add (eg, road closures) offline - currently it seems the only way to do it is to actually drive there until the triangle button appears on the screen. Trying to warn everyone as a closed road is currently showing as roadworks/closed lane.

iPhone.
Suggestion: app can push brightness to max like passbook or Starbucks app for daytime colors, possible user preference? I find it an inconvenience if the iPhone is adjusted for normal screen brightness for the interior of a car, but this isn't bright enough for ease of viewing when driving.

Please add a coastal and water way navigation with chart data, depth, hazards, no wake zones, locks, navigation buoys etc.
This would help the average and novice boater navigate the country's rivers, lakes, inter-coastal and coastal water ways.

Extra Opt-Out Box
I'd like to suggest that the 'my waze' and 'where to' boxes that now automatically sit at the bottom of the screen have a opt-out check box in the display section. As they are most annoying when using Waze without needing or wanting to input a destination.

Improve new layout update - causes lags
Although the new update looks sleek and bold, it also has a lot of lags and geo tagging errors. The screen would turn blank for a second in between switching tabs and icons as well and it's pretty inconvenient especially when you're in the middle of driving.

Fewer taps to make a report
When using CarPlay (or even my phone when I'm the right-side passenger), to report a vehicle stopped on the side of the road I must tap the orange "Report" circle, choose "Hazard," "Shoulder," "Vehicle Stopped." In CarPlay, when driving that takes my eyes from the road at least four times to identify/locate/push the appropriate button to make the report. Rather than spelling out the words for each part of the notice - perhaps readily identifiable icons could be "stacked" under the headings. Waze car icon display fix
When using Waze with iPhone 14 PRO on Sync 4A in 2023 Ford Edge and a route is selected, the car icon is cut off on the bottom of the screen when using AppleCarplay wireless and the Sync screen is set to the large display. Please have it shift a little more upward as to not cut off part off the icon showing where your vehicle is on the road.

Alternate route display should follow the setting for "Keep map north up"
If "Keep map north up" is off then alternate routes should be displayed with my position at the bottom of the screen.
This will make it easier to visualise alternate routes relative to my current position.
Also applies to the app but I'm only able to select one category.

Move "OK" and "Not There" options further apart on Apple Car Play
When some sort of hazard is announced while using Apple Car Play, there is the option to choose "OK" (I think) and "Not There". These options are stacked right on top of each other. Please put some space between them. I have many times chosen the wrong one. Sometimes I also find myself looking at the screen trying to land my finger in the right spot instead of watching the road. Please do better testing on Apple Car Play.

Share trips from phone to car running aaos
Hello everyone, I do uber full time and recently switched to waze. I was very happy to see that waze is available on my polestar 2's aaos but as an uber driver there's 1 option that would be a killer feature for us.
When I accept a trip on uber it automatically opens the waze app on my phone, but I am greeted with a message saying "waze is open on your car, user here or exit". Even when I choose use here and then switch back to my car, it doesn't pick up where I left off. Hence why…

new version is a mess!!! do not connect with android auto
Hi!
What did you do to the application after a new version since April?
1) it does not connect with android auto to see the app on the car screen
2) to use the car screen you have to generate the route from the phone and then connect to the car
3) the icons in wase are very small that they do not allow an easy visualization and not with the same order that we were used to
4) It is very slow when you want to move the map with your fingers, it is not fast or effective

Easier way to report an incident
I have an suggestion to make it easier and faster to report an incident.
On the map screen above "Where To?", have "report an incident", tap that and show all the options (traffic, accident, road hazard etc.). When passing something in the road, it's too difficult to find the proper screen to post it when you're still near it (especially on a highway or high traffic road).
