On a long drive it'd be handy to be able to see:-

Revolutionizing Waze for Motorcyclists: A Call for Enhanced Audio Mode
Dear Waze Team,
I have been using Waze for several years in my car, and recently, I purchased a motorcycle. Along with the motorcycle, I acquired an intercom system, which has led me to primarily use Waze by relying solely on the audio instructions from the intercom, without being able to see the screen.
However, I have come across a feature that I believe would greatly improve the experience for motorcycle users like me, as well as for those who prefer not to have the screen on while driving. It would be beneficial to have an option, let's call it…

Drawbridge Alert - Beta test a citizen based alert that lets drivers know if there is a scheduled bridge opening
We have a historic drawbridge that backs traffic up for sometimes over and hour. Could we beta test a citizen based alert that lets drivers know if the bridge is scheduled to open so that drivers could take alt route, to alleviate traffic? Bridge openings can be determined by monitoring marine VHF radio channel 9. Locals listening could log in and alert drivers and cyclists that there is an upcoming opening.

Section Control
In a lot of European countries you have speed-control via section-control, means:
the avgerage speed is measured of a certain distance by taking picture of car when entering and leaving the measuring section.
Unfortunatly currently you can not warn other users of such controls.
On contrary, such controls are only posted as stationary speed-control when entering, which is very misleading5 votes -

I used Waze in foreground (iPad Mini) to navigate, while running Navigon in background for speed warnings.
I really like Navigon's speed warnings, but it couldn't find my destination address, so I just let it run without a destination and ran Waze for navigating. Worked great, except in the boonies, where Waze died for lack of internet.

Tarhe Traffic (road limitation) in Tehran, Iran
Basically there are limitations on roads that you can have access to during the day in Tehran, Iran. There are areas that you can access only if you have the permit for the day and there are areas that you can access based on your plate ending number. So for example if you have even number ending plate then you can pas from these areas only on even days of the week.
These are issues that waze does not put into consideration while it is navigating and you can easily get fined by passing from these areas automatically.

Many times as a passenger using Waze I notice incorrect map info or current road situations not reported. When I try to report info for updates I receive "don't text & drive" message & am not allowed to suggest updates (hazards, police, accidents, speed limits, road construction, etc). Would it be possible under Navigation (similar to Vehicle Details) to add Wazer Details with options of: Driver, Passenger? If Driver, process as is. If Passenger, allow suggestions for updates in current time.

COVID testing center wait time, traffic
I was trying to get covid test for my daughter this weekend and couldn't find out what places didn't have a wait line. Like traffic, I thought this would be a good opportunity for Waze to have people add a Covid testing alert or comment at a site to let others know the wait times. Or for Waze to recognize how many people are heading there? This would be a huge relief to people during this stressful time.

Live updating, real-time petrol prices
In New South Wales, Australia, we have a government run website called http://fuelcheck.nsw.gov.au that has real-time, live updating petrol prices from all petrol stations. This is a much more accurate source of information than user updated petrol prices that can sometimes be weeks out of date.
I'm sure Waze could access some sort of API to pass this info on to users.5 votes -

Six essential functions when using apps on mobile phones
Recommendations for the Waze app:
1. Add setting item: Speed adjustment is a slider from 0 to 15km/h to compensate for slower speed compared to reality due to gps latency
2. Change the current speeding warning threshold setting menu to a slider with values from -20km/h to 20km/h so that users can choose the appropriate warning threshold for each need.
3. Add voice speed warning sound option
4. Add option to Repeat overspeed warning: (Off, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds…)

Change the colors when speeding
The dark red on dark gray is difficult to read when speeding. I needed to use Waze as a speedometer while in Canada (KPH not MPH). And it was often difficult to read the speed.

Measure the waiting time of the places.
I was thinking of an alternative to Waze that would greatly help people and consequently increase the use of the application by people. my idea is to: create a platform, a new application that works with the waze application, that shows the waiting time in certain places, for example: malls, outlets, cinemas, shops, hospitals, concerts, banks etc. Show the live timeout of a certain place that a person wants to go, so for example, I'd like to go to the bank, but I do not have much time to spend on it, so I put the address on waze…

More direct routes for emergency response services and fire hydrant locations.
Hi, I propose you look into a toggle option for navigation for emergency services organizations that completely ignores traffic regulations, stop signs traffic lights etc..
Emergency services need to take the fastest route while ignoring speed limits, traffic lights & signs.
It would be very helpful to have a navigation that made more direct routes that completely disregard these things and give you the absolute fastest route.
Also, it would be awesome if there could also be a toggle option to show fire hydrant icons / locations for firefighters.4 votes
