A "Baby in the car" button. This will add areminder +alarm when you finish the ride and arrive at the destination. To percent a terrible sad problem in hot countries, death of forgotten babies.

use phone speakers setting problem
I have set Waze to use my phone speakers, and NOT the car's bluetooth speaker. But when I use the car's bluetooth speaker, Waze gives driving directions via the bt speaker instead of the phone speakrs. This disturbs important phone conversations or listening to music. If I configure Waze to use phone speakers, it should work exclusively with phone speakers! Please fix! Tks in advance!

Implement user-configurable delay (in increments of 0.1 sec) for voice alerts
Some vehicle Bluetooth implementations have lengthy handshaking which prevents the first second or two of Waze voice alerts from actually being heard. My car has a feature that ramps up the volume of a Bluetooth phone incrementally on first connection. However, the impact is that in most driving situations, the first two seconds are simply too quiet to be heard!
For example, instead of "In 500 metres, turn right onto Main Street.", all you hear is ".. to Main Street". Obviously, this information is unclear and confusing, forcing the driver to glance at the map on the phone to verify…

Add the ability to pick a vehicle like a pickup truck, car, suv, jeep, ect. and allow us to pick the color.

Add/Remove Categories for Map Editors
There are quite a few missing "obvious" categories, such as Self Storage, Tobacco/Vaping shop, Headshops, Equipment rental (Not just car), Towing service, Motels (Even though you have hotel) etc.
There are also a few redundant categories, like "Pool" and "Swimming Pool".

I think the stopped car icon should be removed from list of items to be marked. It’s seems to be the most prevalent post little value.
Add cop location, left side/right side to map so you know to move over.

Custom Police Alerts
I take a particular rote everyday and there is a police car stationed at the same spot everyday. I would like to see a feature where I can add a custom alert so that I am reminded of this whenever I am on this strech of road

Not really an idea but a bug...
IOS 18.1 beta and CarPlay, iphone 15 pro max. I cannot do any reporting functions (report a hazard, police, etc) on the CarPlay screen. Icon flashes so it knows I clicked it, but no response. Same thing when k try to hit the "still there/not there" buttons on the carplay screen. Have tried 3 different cars, same result. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted the phone. No change. I know this is a beta OS but just reporting the issue anyway.

Streamlined Spotify Integration
I love the new Spotify integration, so thanks greatly for that.
As much as I love it, it can get in the way a bit as having it open all the time consumes half the screen. (although it closes after notifications which is annoying)I'm sure I'm not the only one who has their phone linked to the car stereo via bluetooth. In this case I can change tracks via the stereo and therefore negates the need for the Waze music controls.
It would be amazing if in the Waze Spotify settings there was a streamlined option that simply allows…

Connect the sunglasses to the car Bluetooth and show the map, this will not create a situation that you move your sight from the road.

I have a suggestion though, if I may, please can you make an adjustment to where newly saved addresses are shown. When I plan a new journey to a place I put in the address and save it to use later. Beginning of town (inhabited place) indication - for when to let off the gas in advance
Indicate the next beginning of town somehow on the route.
On the map and/or with info saying "beginning of town in 500m ... 400m ... 200m" etc.
Or even just one popup saying "town in 300m".
Or just with a marker on the map! That would also suffice.I have wanted this feature for years.
Very hard to estimate when in an unknown area.

speed limit side

Switch map and directions on android devices to left or right
My car is a left hand drive vehicle however while using the app on an android headunit the directions are on the left side of the screen while the map is on the right hand side of the screen which is very hard to see. I suggest an option if your car is a left hand drive vehicle to swap these two and revert back if it is a right hand drive vehicle.

iPhone4G - landscape mode not correct at time zero
more of a bug really.
If Waze is running before I rotate the phone then the switch to landscape mode works. If I launch Waze after rotating the phone (like I do when I snap the phone into my car mount before starting Waze) then the display is stuck sideways.3 votes -
Waze should delay commands by one or two seconds when iPhone is used through Bluetooth
I use Waze in my car, using my iPhone through Bluetooth so that the sound comes from the car speakers. The problem is, that Waze does not wait for the connection. All commands are partly cut off. For example: "in 1000 feet turn left" is heard as "turn left". Can you program Waze, so that when Bluetooth is used, there is a minor delay, for example 1 or 2 seconds, before the command is spoken. That way I will hear the entire instruction.

Add Rockchip RK3566 Car audio platform support
I just upgraded the car audio in my car to Rockchip RK3566 (8G RAM, 128G ROM) primary to use it for navigation, but I got the message that Wize is not supported on this device.
Can you please add this platform to the supported devices list?
