Guide me to my parked car
Dropping a parked car dot is great, but it's not always intuitive which way I need to walk to find my car after a long day. Waze could use my device's compass and gps location to literally point me back to my car, or any other point on the map. This is not a "walking" mode of navigation, but rather a way to view the bearing to a particular point. License plate recognition for mobile radars
The idea would be to use the rear camera of the phone to check the licence plates of the cars, and make OCR to read it.
Then it will be compared to a database where users could report the licence plates of the mobile radars onboarded in cars.
Waze could then alert that there is an onboarded radar on the road, and also alert other users with a flag on the map.

Traffic light is not friendly to motorcycles
Make an option to mark traffic lights that change only for cars and not for motorcycles to help the Municipalities to change it. Many motorcycles have to stack in red light until a car stand behind them or wors, until they have to go on red light

Car pointer more centered
Especially when in landscape mode, the car pointer is at the very bottom of the screen, what does not allow to have a good view of the roads and surroundings.
Please make at least an option to have the car pointer more centered on the screen.11 votes -
12" portrait screen for largeur cars, actually 1/2 screen on my RAM 1500
Maybe not the first, like other big car screen, why should waze don't fill the full screen of the portrait 12" screen like RAM 1500 ot other?

Please book back the option for vehicle stopped on road
But last update removed option for vehicle stopped on road you have a choice of objects stopped or vehicle on shoulder, since then I've come up with two times cars have broken down on the roadway

Import and upload custom car icons
I would like to be able to import gifs to be used in place of the arrow. This would allow anyone to use an image or drawing of their car rather than one of the few provided ones. There could even be an option to submit to an online catalog.

Waze para Motocicletas (Waze for Motorcicles)
Em São Paulo, no Brasil, há um grande número de motociclistas que utilizam o Waze diariamente, como eu. Porém, o navegador recalcula as rotas conforme o trânsito de carros, o que não é interessante para nós, devido aos corredores de motos (faixas entre os carros). Por isso, gostaria de sugerir que fosse criado um modo especial para motos, que pode ser dentro do próprio programa, que não recalcule as rotas da mesma maneira que faz para os carros. No caso, recalcularia somente em casos de bloqueios ou acidentes. Desde já, agradeço e parabenizo pelo aplicativo, que nos ajuda muito!

car display
After latest update (I guess) my car display settings overrule my Waze app display settings. I have set my waze "map display" to "dark mode", but cars automatic day/night switch makes my map look during day time awfully bright. White background with dark roads is even during day time very disturbing, especially if you want to focus on driving. I would like Waze to show me the recommended speed to avoid multiple stops while in slow moving traffic jam
Especially when driving regular gear cars, you prefer to drive slowly but steady, rather than stopping and accelerating consistently. This is also favorable in fuel consumption manners. In the long run, if a lot of users will obey this feature it could consequently help to promote the traffic congestion by preventing multiple stops, and improve the traffic flow.

Car on right or left side of the road
Letting drivers know what side of the road the car is on.
The first report os just "car is on the the side of the road," once reported the next wazer can confirm which side right or left.

Motorcycle mode
Please consider developing a motorcycle mode, where we could get all the usual Waze features but without being constantly diverted to routes with less traffic. We are not concerned by traffic! We ride between the cars. Especially in Paris, where it takes a quarter of the time it would take with a car, to ride from point A to point B.
Think of the parisians riders, who still want to use Waze for its great features but would like to be able to ignore the traffic alerts.

Mutual location
It will be perfect if we could plan a route, connect on the map with the other driver friends on the road.
Example: 2 buddyes, 2 cars, same destination. By being connected to each other on the map, we could see each others location.5 votes -

Volume
When getting Navigation audio through my cars Bluetooth, I find that the Navigation volume is half or less than my cars music volume, so the Navigation voice sounds like it's being spoken by a mouse in comparison! I would like to see improvements made to the Navigation volume.

Add bluetooth time to wake up on some cars
With bluetooth on VW Passat (without Android Auto), the first word(s) is generally omitted. I understand that bluetooth go to sleep mode when nothing appens and that it takes a few ms to wake up thus missing the first words and thus potential important communications. Would it be possible to add an extra blank delay to give it the time to wake up the BT (this could be a config param for specific user like me) before the drive message. Thanks a lot.
