The speed trap alert sound should consider the speed limit of the trap
The speed trap alert sound should consider the speed limit of the camera and not the current road the driver is on.
In situations where the driver is on a fast road and is about to exit to a slower road with a speed trap, the driver does not receive the sound alert as they should if they were already on the road with the camera.

Maximum speed change with roadworks
Please make it possible when reporting roadworks also the new maximum speed.
When there are roadworks it can change the route if the maximum speed is slower.

Automatic speed adjustment
I made a patent for an interface between the waze and the vehicle in order to adjust the speed according to the speed limit on public roads , thus enabling a more secure , peaceful direction and within the traffic rules , minimizing risk of fines for speeding, car accidents and contribute to a better fluidity of the road . This device can be enabled or disabled at the discretion of the driver or the possible and future traffic laws.

Speed limits ahead
How about an Info of speed limits ahead on cirrent road.
Why?
If you travel over Land, you are usually allowed to do 100kmh. At intersections, small villages etc. the speed Limit is usually reduced to 70kmh. If there could be some kind of Information with a speed Limit ahead, about 300 to 500m ahead you could just take you foot of the Gas an let the car roll to safe energy. I Do it regularly on known Routers, if traffic allows it (no one behind me how might be annoyed). With this Methode I m able to have 1…10 votes -
Posted speed trap alert
Many streets have built-in speed traps. You know -- the speed is 40 mph, and is a sensible speed for that road, but then for no reason it drops to 25 mph for a half-mile (and there's no school, residences, sharp turns, etc in the road). These are all about revenue generation for the local municipality, and not about road safety.
I would like to be able to report a posted speed trap on the map (and the map should be able to identify many candidates for potential posted speed traps), and then after Waze through some TBD process determines…

Speed camaras and speed bumbs
Your new icon for speed cameras is not very visible, it is too small and the blue colour is exactly as the route ahead when you are following a route on dark mode, night mode. It does not really help at all.
Your speed bumps alert is too much and very annoying, in London every single street, road has speed bumps, nearly all of them. I don't see the point in alerting about it so often and repeatedly all the time. The speed bumbs icon it more visible and alerting in size and colours than the speed cameras icon ,…2 votes -

Speed limit sometimes covers current speed
Currently when I rapidly accelerate, like when passing on a 2 lane road, the speedlimit box becomes larger and covers my current speed indicator. And this is usually when I need to know my current speed the most! Please put an option to disable this behavior. I want to keep current speed limit and current speed on screen at all times, do not make the speedlimit cover up my current speed at any time.

Enlarge posted speed and actual speed.
I love WAZE and use it everyday. However, the graphics in Garmin are far superior. Please try to improve the graphics. Also, please enlarge the posted speed and actual speed at the screen upper right b at least 1/3.

Enable voice alert when approaching speed bumps
Hello Waze Team,
It would be so helpful for all Wazers to receive Voice alerts when approaching a speed bump so that we can prepare ourselves to slow down before approaching the speed bumps, as actually speed bumps has been added but it does not appear or notify you via voice alert that we are nearing a speed bump.
Grateful to look into adding voice alert when approaching speed bumps.

Personal speed limit for electric cars
As I recently done 800 miles with my zoe, I found that the fastest route is not actual fast.
Generally, best range can be achieved by keeping speed around 56 mph at motorway for an electric car.However, route optimisation has been done based on the top speed of the route unless there is a traffic.
Therefore, if we can have personalised top speed, we might different route.
5 votesGreat news! This feature is already available in Waze. It’s called Personalized ETA.
Personalized ETA setting is turned on in Settings – Navigation – Personalized ETA. Waze would analyze the drives you took in the past, calculate how long it took you to drive sections of the route, and compare this information with Waze’s estimates. Then, it uses this info to personalize your ETA whenever you search a route in Waze.
Important: Waze won’t analyze drives that you delete from your drive history. Deleting drives may disable Waze from personalizing your ETA until you take more drives.
