Cause of traffic message
Give a post question to drivers that are in front of the traffic zone to inform other drivers as to what is causing the traffic. It may also give authorities an idea on how to resolve the situation.

"Easy drive" mode
define the navigation logic so that it will skip narrow streets, traffic lights, stop signes, any road when the average speed is under 40 km/h etc. Allow for a 20% longer ride, but get me home fresh and not drained...
7 votes“Avoid difficult intersections” option is available in Navigation settings. Should ease your driving experience to some extent.

Logging Options on Waze (distance, driving time, gas costs)
It would be great that Waze could log some data about your trip.
So you could include a kind of dashboard that could display your speed, average speed, distance driven, a kind of trip distance resetable by user, as well a fuel logging calculator.
The fuel logging calculator should enable you to register the price spent and the ammount of fuel you've filled. This would be great for drivers to make some stats in order to reduce costs.26 votes -
Upcoming Speed limit
It would be great if Waze could give a(n optional) warning if a speed limit comes up (similar to construction area warning). This enables the driver to lower the speed before - instead of brake down the speed when the limited zone begins.
This would be very helpful especially on German motorways, which haven’t a general limit and where you have to brake hard e.g. before construction areas.23 votes -

Option to disable construction alerts; they are distracting
Several people have posted this. It is not being responded to. PLEASE listen to us! When driving, a construction alert pops up. There is NO option in settings to turn off construction alerts (only to hide from map). The alert is persistent until I pass the zone, which means ETA is not visible. The alert cannot be cleared until I pass the zone. It's a horrible experience, and the only way to clear it is to say "Not there" which is not true. Please listen to the users begging for this. Transitioning into a new speed limit area.
Kindly include a prompt that notifies you when you're transitioning into a new speed limit area. Let the user choose if they would like to be notified if a new speed limit zone has been entered.

The ability to make certain areas a 'black list' or 'no go' zone that will be avoided by the routing algorithm.
Sometime the routes are through areas on roads that are either dangerous or just needs to be avoided. The ability to black list or create certain no-go areas that will be avoided by the routing algorithms at all cost, unless the the final destination is in-side the area. I would rather spend more time travelling than go through these areas.

Add option to select car pool when navigating
Lets popup "carpool?" button after choosing destination in carpool times. This will help to get corresponding exits and more precise calculations. Sometimes traffic stopped while carpool is open and I dont want to get average estimation and alternative route. Thanks!

use past traffic statistics when calculating routes
waze could save statistics about average time it takes to pass each street at different times of the day (but only on work days - not vacations or weekends where traffic patterns are different). this past statistics can be valuable when routing - today, waze could lead me through areas that are more congestion prone since at the moment these areas are quite vacant. using past statistics when routing would show that by the time I'll get to these areas, there'll probably be a congestion so other paths might be better.

Speed alerts ,audio speed changes,school zones
…I use Waze to help give me audio alert when I go over the speed limit. Only thing is that it only alerts you one time and if you go over the speed limit again it will not alert you. I would find it very beneficial but it alerts you every time you go over the speed limit. I would also would like to have school zones added and alerted. And possibly have speed limit decrease to 20 mph when school zones are active with audio alerts. I live in a very small town and is known to28 votes -
progress bar
Hello, Your application is very good except for people who pollute the screen with cunning reports by making a police report while it is a danger zone. Problems recurrent to remedy. There is no progress bar in a danger zone when the phone is horizontal.

Option to Ignore Construction Zones
It would be tremendously helpful to have the ability to ignore construction zones/certain stretches of road. And if possible with the option to automatically ignore if speeds are less than a certain threshold.

Moto mode
Dear Sir:
In Taiwan, we mostly using motocycle, maybe 60~70% I guess.
If it can have Moto mode I'll be very grateful.
But if it have difficult in technology, Hope it can have blacklist in rode name, That we can To avoid high way and some rode or street that no motorcycle allowed in road zone or something like that

Indication of danger zones even without navigation
Is it possible to receive notifications of danger zones even when using Waze without navigation?
Living in France, we have danger zones, not speed cameras.
The problem is that the danger zone notifications only exist when using navigation with Waze, and if no one reports a speed camera, we don't receive any notifications!1 vote -

Report (10min) Queue: If I report a traffic issue and I happen to be in a data dead zone due to powerlines or carrier issue, I get the Oh Oh display. If my report is queued for up to 10mins before expiration, I may pass out of the issue area and still get the report in. Right now the report is just lost.
