Android auto screen
We let you know an potential error. After the latest versions, when you are navigating with android auto and you click on phone to navigate with Waze, there is a new advisory screen that says to look at android auto car screen to follow the navigation. This screen may be temporary, because when you are professional driver using another app, and you need this another main app for continue working, you have been blocked by this advisory screen, and you need to close and restart the apps on your phone.

Use Voice Commands to log Reports with Waze on CarPlay and Android Auto
While Waze allows users to use voice via their phones to log Reports, it does not support Voice to log Reports for users of Car Play and Android Auto. The fact that these users have to use the screen and potentially take their eyes off the road to navigate menus to log a report is quite dangerous. Please help vote this up, as more vehicles are now being equipped with Car Play and Android Auto. Thank you!

Add Support for On Board Diagnostics OBD II + Display stats on user profile
You should add support for On Board Diagnostics OBD II from elm327 bluetooth as Torque app does and the stats to Waze user profile.

Android Auto Enhancements
The Android Auto integration is pretty good, but what would make it perfect is just a couple tweaks:
1) Make it auto-start when you start Android Auto. I don't mean it would come up instead of the AA home screen, I mean unlike Google Maps, when you have Waze as your default mapping app, your typical destinations don't appear on the AA home screen until you click the map icon. I also cannot hit my car's "Nav" button to get me into Waze until I've manually opened it once. With Google Maps as default, I can hit Nav button on…

Enable passenger search while driving in android auto mode
In android auto the search is removed until the car is stopped. My passenger wants to search for a new location destination. Sadly we have to stop the car to do that. A prompt asking if you are the driver would be better, then allow them to search. How can waze assume all interaction must be the driver?? If the driver declares to be a passenger well that's driver negligence but stop All interaction to prevent that, this renders the app useless at times.

BT, Waze audio message presilence and setting (secs)
Please add presilence and related paremeter (in seconds) in settings for Waze audio messages.
Beggining of Waze audio message is cut (around 2-3 seconds) if phone is not connected all the time to car bluetooth system and connects only during the message. For exampe I am listening car stereo system and waze connectes to car audio system BT only in case of message. This issue can be resolved by adding presilence to waze audio message and adding parameter in settings for the length of presilence (2-3 seconds should be enough).

Scale UI option for Android Auto
Scale UI option for Android Auto. Letters are too big, any text blocks half the screen. It's a simple matter of allowing a scaler in options. 125%, 75%, 66%, 50%, that'd be more than enough to really improve usability.

Android Auto
2022 Chevrolet Blazer with Android Auto is still having freezing issues that's forcing me to use other navigation software. Sygic, Google Maps & Here maps software work fine. I really don't want to abandon Waze because it's now the worst navigation software on Android Auto!

Zoom Feature in Android Auto
The Android Auto version should have zoom enabled all the time (like in the native software), and not just when the car is stopped. This will make navigation much easier, esp when transitioning from highway to city or residential streets.

Waze map on cluster screen (behind steering wheel) on Android Automotive cars
Electric vehicles powered by Android Automotive from brands like Renault, Volvo or Polestar have the Waze app ready.
However, the application only works in the main infotainment screen and does not replicate the maps in the cluster screen like Google Maps does.
This is a big miss in order to use Waze instead of Google Maps, since it is very practical to see the map behind the steering wheel.
We hope in a near future you can have access to cluster screen and replicate the Waze maps there.

Automatic start Waze when connect to car bluetooth (and turn off when blutetooth is off)
Automatic on/ off waze when connect to paired bluetooh adapter.
This is best way to have waze on when is needed in car.
Leave the car - waze goes off.

It's important that to be able to view upcoming directions. I often use this feature on the phone to be better prepared on my trip. Suggested routes are not always clear just from their titles and it can be important to look at the directions for each route to make an informed decision. The fact that you cannot access ways on the phone when in the car makes this feature completely unusable even if you're sitting in your car prior to leaving on your trip or if you pull to the side of the road. Allow user to see turn-by-turn direction list when using Waze via Android Auto.
When connected via Android Auto and using Waze there is no means to pull up the turn-by-turn directions list, even if the vehicle is parked. This forces the driver to drive "blind", not knowing what to expect between the start of the trip and the destination. In city use cases, this makes Waze via Android Auto unusable.

Notifications in Android Notification bar when Waze is in the background
I would like to see an icon popup next to the Waze icon in the Android Notification bar when people send a Ping, comment to your chat, or when an event like police or accidents have been reported. This would be useful when Waze is in the background.

show song playing while navigating using Android Auto
While using Waze on android Auto I would like to see what is currently playing, when using spotify or even on infotainment (Radio, XM, Ect.) There is a nice open spot at the top of the screen that could be used to display this info. I know that there is a quick popup when i change songs but would like the ability to display permanently.
