  2. Color code road hazard and police reports etc to show how long ago they were reported

    Instead of having to click on the police icon to see how long ago it was reported color code the icons.
    Green = reported within last 10 minutes
    Yellow = reported within last 10-20 minutes
    Red = reported over 20 minutes ago

  3. Off-road Trail Map Capability, the road less traveled.

    There are a couple of very expensive off-road trail GPS devices for State and non OHV areas but I would love to see WAZE get into at least BLM/OHV and Fire road type of mapping.

    Way points and even names of the trails. I live in California where there is many trails that the state regulates along with adopted programs from off road clubs. I'd buy an upgraded app for my WAZE if this was an option.

  4. add a plugin method, e.g. radar detector

    There is an iPhone app called "radar active" that allows realtime updates of speed traps. The sounds various radar detectors make (or dataports like on the Valentine V1) could be used to automatically add speed-trap / false alarm information to the map. Android has easy ways to add external hardware, but the microphone could be used on any platform with the right audio processing software.

    Let us see not only the traffic jams. Let us see the free road. Free roads may be highlighted in green. This will help to better assess the condition of the roads.

  6. International Land Border Wait Time Predictions

    Dear Waze Team,

    I would like to suggest a feature enhancement that could significantly improve the accuracy of ETA predictions for routes involving international land borders, such as those between the USA and Canada or the USA and Mexico.

    Current Situation:
    At present, it appears that Waze calculates ETA for routes involving international land borders based on general traffic data. This approach treats the border crossing as a regular segment of the journey, comparing travel times between points A and B without considering the unique delays associated with border crossings.

    Proposed Enhancement:
    To provide more accurate ETAs and better routing…

  8. Planned drive featuring stops

    When planning a drive being able to add stops then. I have to add 15-20 extra min to my planned route to be able to get coffee.

  10. Waze - Plan my day route scheduling

    A great addition to the Waze App would be to have it plan my entire day or something as simple as errands. Start by entering a start time and a list of addresses to visit (e.g. drop-off kids, grocery store, and other errands....getting me back home in time to pick-up the kids at school at the end of the school day), Waze could optimize my route and schedule based on traffic and ETA. It might even choose the most effective route by reordering the destinations/waypoints. Other applications are for small businesses to do route planning to save time and fuel.…

    To give Wazor's opportunity to point places where is possible to fix (repair) cars. Also places where possible wash car (and prices for washing)

  13. Please turn off the "You parked here" pop-up or at least give the option to disable it.

    Stop trying to do too much!!! I don't need to know or share where I parked when I first start the app especially if I'm sitting in my car where I parked it. I want to enter my destination and go. If I want to share my location, I'll do so through the menu. Very annoying.

  14. max parking height

    At work we can choose between a VW Caddy (height 1,89m) and a BMW 316 (lower :P ).
    Today only the BMW was available, so we took that one.
    At Brussels I drove into a parking, close to our destination thanks to waze.
    The parking is very low, the max. height is 1,75m. Luckily we were there with the bmw and not the Caddy.
    It would be a nice feature if the max. height would be announced of parking space.

  17. Integrate with Amazon Echo

    It would be absolutely magical if you could say to Alexa like:

    "Alexa, tell me when I need to leave in order to arrive at work by 9AM."

    "Alexa, let me know when my trip to would will only be 45 minutes."

  18. Make alternative routes tappable directly on the map like GMaps.

    Hoping for tappable alternative routes on the map, which also shows time difference from the suggested route. This was a feature I liked a lot in GMaps.

  19. Make changes to the suggested route by touching the route I want on the map.

    Sometimes I want to make a specific change to the route by touching the map. For example; if I touch and hold a place on the map to signal that I want to go via this road instead of the suggested road, but still remain within the general route chosen.

  20. Allow alternate start point

    For trip planning purposes would like to see preferred rout from A to B, rather than wait until I start the trip. i.e. It's 8 am today on Tues, what rout and calculated times would Waze report for a trip from Baltimore MD to Alexandria Va, when I'm planning the trip while in LA.
