Allow Editors to Set Functional Status of EV Charging Stations
When mapping EVCS, I've noticed that there are comment sections on charging stations like PlugShare that allow users to share their experience using the stations, specifically if it's working or not. Would like to propose that apart from the comments, we can add in a functionality for editors to set the status of these charging stations based on user reports or own knowledge. As a result, users can see clearly the status of each charging station even before they navigate to the charging station, saving frustration when the station is unserviceable. Transparent point places while moving
Now that point places are much larger in WME, it would be helpful to make them transparent when dragging them across the map, so they can be easier aligned with features on satellite image.

Todos los días me dirijo a mi casa por una calle a un costado de una autopista que tiene peaje, y cada día WAZE me recomienda pasar por la autopista que tiene un pórtico de peaje. El problema es que solo tendría que recorrer unos 200 metros de autopista y luego salir de inmediato.

Arrival time for calendar events
When adding events from my calendar, Waze assumes I want to arrive at the event start time. This is mostly not true; I usually want to arrive 10-15 minutes early, to give me time to park up (and in the case of shifts at work, make a drink before I get started!)
I would like an option in the app settings to always arrive X minutes before event start time (with a drop-down menu allowing me to choose from eg 5, 10, 15 minutes).

External providers: Also suggest places marked as permanently closed (with a proper mark)
WME uses Google Maps as the external provider in Israel and doesn't suggest places marked in Google as permanently closed. Meanwhile, showing that the place is marked as closed in Google would hint that the place needs additional checking and possibly should be removed from the Waze map.

WME - Default Category List.
Hi.
Please, allow us to change the default - WME Category choices in the drop-down menu to our own preference. As for example we do not use any of the "parent" categories, so it would be great if we could choose what we want making it easier for us to create places.

Waze - Version Release (Number).
Hi.
It would be a nice touch to add the - Waze Version Release, under (Waze Map Editor), so users can see what version they are running and if any bugs are needed to be reported, they can using that version as a reference?

The type of way (preferred / unfavorable / neutral) now it does not appear anymore
The type of via appeared and now it does not appear anymore, even if the editor did not have access to edit this information it appeared on the screen, me and some friends here liked this information because it helped new users to better understand why they did not have access to edition. Because only levels 4 above appear. Could you go back?

Parking along with the Parking area code and Charging info would be helpful
Showing the nearest Parking close to destination is Cool, would be good to also see the Parking area code and if that has Charging points (wherever applicable) -
I am in Stockholm, I usually have to struggle understanding the parking code, for which I can check the charges before I travel.
With Electric cars becoming more popular, it would be great to have the Parking code combined with a Mark highlighting if cars can be charged.
Example Stockholm P - which allows free charging or Mer or Incharge which are paid. This info will be really helpful.

Enable the selection of a larger car type such as campervan caravan / large MPV which could not navigate smaller roads.

Add Globe View from Google Maps to the Waze Map Editor.
There is a vast difference between having Globe View toggled on and off. If it was added, it would allow new edits to be made with the ever changing infrastructure of the world. I've noticed myself that I was unable to make some changes due to outdated satellite imagery through the map editor, however I am able to see changes much more clearly with it toggled through Google Maps directly.
Since Waze is now owned by Google, would this be a hard thing to port over to the map editor?

External Providers Search Displays Too Little Information
The + Add linked Google place functionality on venues is incredibly difficult to use. When you search, the Waze-prioritized white space leaves almost no room for the search results to actually contain usable data. As it is now, I often have to guess as to which place it might be and often have to repeat the process making editing places very inefficient. Please expand the information displayed here so that this functionality is actually useful to finding and linking Google places. The whole name of a place should appear along with a complete address.

At the moment, when you hover over a place, it shows its complete address. Is this something that solves the original issue you mentioned?

Swap A-B ends of a segment
When I select a single segment it shows A at one end and B at the other. Editing the speeds for each direction on that one segment works correctly. Many roads have some segments facing the opposite direction, and when selecting multiple segments this causes a glitch in the speed limit editing - since it's only editing one direction at a time and the software isn't correctly handling the mismatch of directions. It takes a third selection and typing of the new speed to overcome this glitch, which then shows as 3 changes instead of 2.

Seria interessante criar via "MUNICIPAL" visto que tem estradas de dominio federal e estadual, mas não tem as vias municipais que são pavimentadas, estas não podem ser consideradas "ruas" visto que são de alta velociade e ligam zonas rurais e pequenas vilas, e não são estaduais pois estão *** responsabilidade do municipio bem como a manutenção e construção.

Disable double click zoom
An option to disable this feature, or disable it completely. I've never used the double click to zoom in into something. That's the wheel for, or even the buttons on the side of the editor.
Many times when the WME becomes unresponsive or laggy it is common that while selecting something the selection is not captured, so one tries again to select what ever it was trying to select, however instead of selecting a magic zoom in comes into play.7 votes -
Add residual kilometers for italian "safety tutor" speedtrap on Android Auto
Hello! In Italy we have highways with "safety tutor", a speedtrap system which calculate average travel time. In Waze phone mode there's a small banner that indicates the remaining kilometers to exit the area, this feature is not available in Android Auto. Whyyy?? It's so useful :)

Map Suggestions need hotkey
Map Suggestions are a layer in WME. If you want to see under the suggestion, you have to disable the layer. The only way to do that is via the Layer menu. There is no option for setting a hotkey.

Adding a Fire Maltese Cross for fire activity on the roadways. IE. Car Fires, Brush Fire etc.
As a career firefighter with major highways surrounding our jurisdiction. with the usual bad direction we get, we often open and rely on Waze if and when we get called for a car accident. however, we can use a feature for car fires, car accidents, and brush fires along the highways. etc.
