Customize "Services" checkboxes by Category
Most Places have a set of checkboxes under Additional Information that are relevant for restaurants, but are just silly for almost any other Category. It should be possible to provide relevant services that are different based on the Category of the Place. This will enhance the information saved for most non-restaurant Places and make WME (and Waze) more relevant.

Make editor impact more obvious
Drivers get a regular report of their reporting impact, such as how many reports and how many people were impacted and helped. It would be nice if WME did something similar. Perhaps in the editing history show some statistics to allow editors to see their impact for edits.
Such as:
Segments: Give a rough estimate of how many drivers navigated to a destination on this segment or traversed the segment (such as navigated to a PP with a stop point or to a HN).
Places: How many users have searched for / navigated to this place.

Add "follow my route" for routes we know are faster than suggested.
Add "follow my route" for routes we know are faster than suggested. You can record the route from the suggested route, then compare analytics, eco, mileage at the end destination; and share a recommended route change.

Make new editors complete a quiz on the wiki before they can edit.
After being locked out from editing after a bad user last year and only regaining editing permissions early this year, I was thinking you could create a compulsory quiz that new editors have to complete before they can edit the map. This would help prevent rogue users that don't understand what their actions do to the maps and creating a better editing experience for everyone.

"All Issues" should have an editable area & level restricted (permissional area) filter.
I'm liking the new "All Issues" section but it needs another filter where I can filter out all the stuff I can't edit due to permissions such as areas outside my editable areas and level restricted edits.
I'm currently a L1 and want to move up higher but not having the ability to only see what I can edit, it's time consuming going through them all.

When updating places on the map should grant points per change or addition made
Every change or addition made to a place on the map should grant an edit point for every change or addition e.g. presently if I select a place on the map and link to google and include phone number this will grant only 1 point. Make it 2 to give incentive to do more and better corrections to places on the map

Permitir a usuarios Nivel 1 poder realizar alguna acción para avanzar de nivel, poder editar mapas y ayudar a esta herramienta.
Si no se permite la herramienta no avanzará porque los usuarios se aburrirán por no poder contribuir

school zone alerts

Personalizing dashboard option for frequently used notifications to improve posting time
Create the ability for users to select a handful (3 or 4) user-selected notifications of common notifications they post in Waze as the notice them on the road so they can access them directly from the Waze dashboard in the Waze app on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Also create the option for Waze users to update or change the notifications they want to show and have quick access to on the Waze dashboard.
This would improve the customer experience of using the app, improve the amount of notifications submitted by Waze users, and minimize the time lost by Waze…

Smoke on Road
Users should have the possibility to report a common danger in the road: Smoke. It can be from wildfires as described in another suggestion, however roads are not necessarily closed.
We have dangers like "ice on road" or "snow", however those are never used in countries where winter never gets below 0°C (or is highly unlikely). On the contrary, every year there are fires causing road hazards with visibility dropping considerably.

new updated map
- new route guidance box and fonts too large make smaller.
- too many icons on display map . Have them go to sleap after 30 seconds. Too much of the map is lost.

Issue tracker filter incorrectly showing drop down menu arrow direction
In the issue tracker filter settings, currently the drop down arrows in the map issues filter settings for UR, PUR, MP and map suggestions are showing an up arrow when collapsed and a down arrow when expanded.
However, in other best practice design scenarios, it should be the other way around. That is, when collapsed, show a down arrow so when you select it, the menu expands. Likewise when the menu is expanded, show an up arrow so when you select it, the menu collapses. This is done correctly in other dropdown menu options in WME

Making left side panel shorter with little tweak
I'd suggest to change "Edit house numbers" text to house icon and moving it before "Select entire street" text -> One row shorter side panel. Also, moving "View History" text next to road length field would shorten the panel by yet another row, there's plenty of space for it there. See https://ibb.co/b5gVSmb

Allow addition of new traffic signal or stop sign where one did not previously exist.
Allow editors to add a new traffic signal or stop sign. Allow alert similar to RR crossing sound. Set alert to expire 30-45 days after signal or stop sign is put into service.
