  1. Add a new UR Issue filter "Last comment by" - "Not Me"

    Please add a new UR filter in the "Last comment by" drop-down - called "Not me".

    In conjunction with the "Comment by me" filter, this will then allow me to see all URs that I have commented on in the past, but I wasn't the last person to reply. This will include the reporter and other editors.

    Currently, if I select Reporter, I cannot see URs that other editors have last commented on. If I select All, I will see them, but also all of my reports that I was the last commenter on.

  2. Add keyboard shortcut for issue resolution buttons

    Please add keyboard shortcuts for the Green and Grey buttons ("Not Identified" and "Solved" or their equivalents) options within URs/PURs/MPs.

  3. Traffic Control design

    Traffic Control Design: Allow registered Contruction businesses to add traffic control setups(cones, utility workers present, etc.) when work is being done in certain areas and grant the ability to save those plans via PDF.

  4. Bicycle Paths

    Hi there Waze team, community,
    In the view of raising pollution from vehicles and health concerns due to sedentary lifestyle, I think it would be a great idea for Waze to it's bit by marking out biking (bicycle) lanes just like it is so easy to drive around with waze in a car.
    This will help people to get around quickly, safely and conveniently. Today in most part of the developed and developing world, bicycles are not given or considered a priority. And in some places it's half hearted efforts for example some central & western European countries where you…

  5. Issue Tracker Option ~ Add ability to have Map Area and Managed Area at same time

    We need the ability to have the "Map area" option selected along with either the "Managed area" or "Specific location" option selected.

    Why you may ask?

    This just happened to me.

    I keep my settings as "Managed area" or "Specific location" so that I can work URs, PURs, etc anywhere any my managed area or State without being at a specific map area

    Someone contacts me by chat for assistance in a location that is not in my managed area or specific location (whichever I have set) and I help them out. Reporter is a happy camper.

  6. Off road / Unmaintained road should not have the unpaved option

    The "Off-road / Unmaintained road" type is almost always unpaved, and in cases where it is paved, it is not to be treated as paved. Thus the "Unpaved" attribute of such a segment is not needed. Moreover, it may sometimes cause an unwanted route when there are some segments that have the unpaved attribute whereas some don't have that attribute.
    I suggest removing that attribute from that type of segment.

  8. Add “person” as a hazard on the shoulder of road. I have witnessed 3 people separately on the shoulder of highways in Austin TX area in the

    I have seen 3 people trapped on inside shoulder of Highway or walking along outside shoulder of highway separately in the last month on Austin highways

  9. Detour routes

    We need the ability to add detour routes (paths) that can be added and removed in real time and/or scheduled to use in conjunction with closures. Often when local authorities announce closures, the also specify preferred detour routes.

  10. Easier to switch between Brief and Sound On instructions

    I like the Brief Instructions when I'm in familiar territory. I like full instructions when going somewhere new or unfamiliar.

    It would be great if I could easily switch between the two. Could we add "Brief" alongside "Sound Off" "Alerts Only" and "Sound on" instead of going through the settings menu?

  11. Routines

    I go to work every weekday around 8:00, and come home around 5:00. WAZE seems to know this, as it pops up on my screen so I can easily select it.
    There are several routes to take between my home and work. Often, I drive the same route. Occasionally, there is an accident, construction, etc... so another route is better. So I always like to check WAZE.
    WAZE knows that I'm going to work, and I generally know how I'm getting there. So, automatically provide minimal directions. If traffic is bad on my usual route, switch to full directions. When…

  12. A better separation between different road types in the layers panel

    When working on complex junctions, tunnels, train tracks, and pedestrians, and when all of them are in the same area, the map becomes a real mess and is hard to work with. I suggest adding additional layers to toggle off the visibility of road types and a layer to hide tunnels (or change their transparency at least and make them unselectable and disable snapping).

    Take a look at this picture, and you'll immediately understand the issue.

  13. [QOL] Have Closure End Date Auto Update to Not Be Earlier Than Start Date

    When setting a closure for the next day, for example, I have to update the start and end date even though the end date should update automatically to prevent an error in the data.

    Is it not possible to set an event to run after the Start field losses focus to update the End date field to update to match the Start date field if the end date is before the Start date?

  14. Country Manager

    The Country Manager should be a local editor as we know the changes to the road, we are driving in the country, not a foreigner using satellite images to edit the map.

    Some accidents are caused by drivers heavily depending on waze at night as they know its updated but now its not .

  16. Event edit mode in WME

    During Event Mode you only can select segments and you will not be able to edit them. Only RTCs are possible.
    You also can select one previous entered event (MTE) --> this MTE will be preselected for RTCs during event mode. Also the name of the RTC will be the same the whole time.
    Benefits: You only have to selects the segments, enter date & time and therefore save a lot of time. You also won't be able accidentally to move segments, nodes or POIs.

    For me can be useful to have possibility to download offline area maps. Can be made when you're planning to go in another country without mobile data coverage or when you've issue on mobile data.

  18. Suggest "Warehouse" and/or "Loading Dock" categories for Places in WME

    Lots of warehouses in my area, lots of truck drivers are dropping Places that would meet this criteria. They usually select the Parking Lot category, and i generally end up changing them to Factory/Industrial.

  19. Temporary driving directions (roadworks/ rerouting)

    Temporary driving directions visible directly on the live map such as closures and that temporarily override the set driving direction in WME. This would be useful for one-way streets where there is a temporary reversal of driving direction due to roadwork or rerouting.
