Don't display a connection node where there isn't any connection
If one segment touches another segment somewhere in the middle it should be visible if there are two or three segments. Think of a T-crossing. At the spot where the segments meet a dot is displayed, which suggest there is a connection, but sometimes there isn't any: instead of 3 segments there are only 2. Better only display this dot when there is really a connection.

Multiple entry points
Waze should re-enable its multiple entry points feature (eg one side of building or another).
Instead of using the first entry point, Waze users should be directed to the one that’s marked as the main point in the editor.

Extra click required for approving a PUR
When approving/rejecting a PUR (new place, new photo, change in details), an extra click is now needed to close the window. Simply clicking approve/reject would close the window, but now you also have to click done to close the window. This wasn't the case until WME v2.109 (released August 2022)

Disc Parking / Parkscheibe / vulgo Parkuhr / disque de stationnement / Disco horario / Parkeringsskive / Pysäköintikiekko
As payment method for parking lots & customer parking we need a disc parking option,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_parking
as these are becoming very popular at stores. Additionally a field is required to set maximum parking time with the disc.Would be great if Waze would notify that a parking disc is needed if you reach such PLs

Accept and reject individual suggestions in PUR
Problem summary:
The workflow for place update requests (PUR) is clunky and confusing. We can reject or approve only - yet two or three of the five suggestions might be useful while the others not. After clicking on a PUR for the first time, it is also unclear what is new, changed or deleted.
User story:
I clicked on a PUR pending changes for an existing venue and this is what was displayed:
https://i.imgur.com/CWTE6Jl.png
- It is not apparent what the proposed changes are. I do not know if everything listed is new, changed (e.g. typo fixed) or a proposed deletion.

Map Suggestions need hotkey
Map Suggestions are a layer in WME. If you want to see under the suggestion, you have to disable the layer. The only way to do that is via the Layer menu. There is no option for setting a hotkey.
38 votesGreat timing! We’re currently working on adding a hotkey for map suggestion. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.

Add Place setting to force arrival on drive side of road
Please add a normally-off setting in Place entry points to force arrivals to be on the drive-side of the roadway. In urban areas it is common to have drop-off/pick-up or valet areas in front of hotels and similar places which cannot be accessed legally via a U-turn.

Segment restriction type that prompts user to confirm access (gates)
Currently we create gates using PR segments. However, this rarely has the intended effect. Those with access (say a gated community) don't get a route through a gate this is most convenient or worse, if all entrances are gated, then restriction is meaningless other than to ensure it's not a through-way.
I'm suggesting a segment restriction type that would generate a pop-up at start-state of a route asking if the user has access to a segment (gate) if that's the shortest route. Ideally, Waze would remember that for that user in the future. This could potentially be used for restricted…

Ability to select long stretches of road
A feature that would allow defining a start and an end point and which would automatically select the road between them would be very helpful. There is somtimes a need to select a length of road in the tens or even hundreds of kilometres. (The alt-click trick doesn't work for such long distances.)
Two use case examples:
1) RTC on long stretch of highway
There have been several highway closures due to winter storms recently. Selecting the entire road to be closed requires lots of panning and selecting individual segments, which is very time-consuming.
2) Making changes to long stretches…

Use RTC history to create new RTC on the same segments
It would be very convenient to be able to re-create a RTC based on the RTC history for one or more segments. This would also require being able to choose to select all segments that were included in the original RTC, as well as optionally proposing start / end times.
Two use case examples:
1) Recurring RTCs where the schedule is not known far in advance
For example, there is nightly road construction on a given highway, but this may not repeat every night for various reasons. The actual closure is only published a few hours before, and so requires…

Add new layers for deleted Places and Segments
Currently it's impossible to restore (or even review) the Places and Segments, which were deleted. There are simply no traces left and objects are lost for good. (with their history and complexity)
I suggest to add the new WME layers with deleted Segments and Places.
That would allow the review of what, when (and by whom) were they deleted with a possibility to recover/undelete those objects. (again, incl. all attributes and history).7 votes -
Separate Map Editor App
I am suggesting an app that allows editors on the move to have a way to handle URs and PURs while away from the computer more effectively. This could also allow PLs to be opened and segment(s) involved to be edited easier from the mobile device.
URs could have notifications and work like a chat room that other editors can join.
PURs could have notifications with the ability to approve if info can be confirmed while mobile.
PLs could open with options to change the lock level and see segment info upon scrolling down.

Change Forum Sharing Options object types posted in forum
Currently when an editor uses the Forum Sharing Option to request an unlock, the request ALWAYS says "I would like to be able to edit the following segment(s)." no matter what type of object is selected.
The request should be automatically based on type of object selected
If segment(s) selected, no change
If venue(s) selected, the request should say "I would like to be able to edit the following venue(s)."
If they have any other type of object selected, the request should say "I would like to be able to edit the following [selected object type]."85 votesThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Change Forum Sharing Option autofill
When an editor uses the forum sharing options, new editors are consistently adding the wrong lock level to their request.
For example, the current Unlock Request automatically fills in the following information:
Hi Editors,I would like to be able to edit the following segment(s).
Your help would be greatly appreciated.Permalink: https://waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&lat=29.63406&lon=-104.27920&zoom=5&segments=516527406
Reason:
Unlock to level:Thank you in advance,
The "reason" and "unlock to level" kind of blend in.My suggestions would be to automatically fill in the current lock level of the selected objects and the rank of the editor making the request for the "unlock to…

Change forum request format when using share link in WME
Even though my previous post says this was implemented, not a single thing has been. https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59225-map-editor-suggestions/suggestions/43000929-change-formatting-of-forum-sharing-options
When an editor uses the forum sharing options, which is great, because of the order of the data on the request, valuable information is being overlooked.
For example, the current Unlock Request automatically fills in the following information:

Editar valores dos combustíveis nos postos pelo WME (Editor)
Seria interessante, se tivéssemos condições de atualizar os valores de combustíveis nos postos diretamente pelo WME (Editor de Mapas de Waze), pois, eu passo nos locais e nem sempre consigo editar na hora por conta do transito, contudo, acredito que os valores poderiam ficar mais atualizados deste forma. Além de quê, eu trabalho com rede de posto e boa parte deles, ficam com o mesmo valor.

Improve PopUp in closures
Hi, im thinking in the posibility to include popup with Pic or Image when we creates a closure or Wazer (N3+) add image to existent closure, i mind, if i Drive with Waze app and that shows pics or photograpy about reason of closures, that helps to Wazers to know the reason and to us (like editors) to keep actualized and clear ending closures.
Thanks for all!

Mark segments as "slip lanes" that delay voice instructions
At the moment, ramp segments generally delay voice instructions until you have merged or turned onto the segments at the end of the ramp, such as a freeway or highway.
Australia and some other countries utilise "slip lanes" at some intersections, which is basically a left turn (for countries that drive on the left) that does not use the main intersection.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slip_lane
When a slip lane is mapped on Waze, we usually implement the turn instruction where the driver enters the slip lane, as that is where they need to be told to turn. However, this can mean that Waze…

ability to amend speed limits
I'd be interested to find out how I can advise of a change in speed limit please. Our village (Newington, Sittingbourne, Kent) has recently introduced a 20mph limit across the village, but it's still showing on the app as 30mph.
