    Hey,

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    Thanks!

Using my iphone WAZE app there was a time when i could contact SIRI, having the phone plugged into power of course, by calling "HEY SIRI" whilst the WAZE app was on screen, which was very useful but then this method stopped working that way, perhaps after an update from SIRI or Waze? which means i now have to press the home button to contact SIRI, which i think is a dangerous distraction.

However once Siri has done my bidding i can reopen WAZE, which is still operating in the background, by saying "Hey Siri Open Waze", which it does.

Please can we get back to how (well) it was working before?

ELGIN is not a person; although until i realised that i was getting very, very cross with him or her.

Looking at reports on Waze, it says they were submitted by ‘Elgin’, who I initially presumed was just another Waze user, until I discovered Elgin are the developers behind the roadworks.org website and it appears this data is being used by Waze.

WAZE needs to fix this situation as just adding in more and more reports from ELGIN but not clearing old ones is strangling the system and ruining a good app, and the enjoyment of driving and using it.
