Sound control (alerts only, off, etc.) used to able to be accessed from home / start screen. Need to have it back.
Sound control (alerts only, off, etc.) used to able to be accessed from home / start screen. Need to have it back.
Up until this month I was able to set the sound choice easily before starting a route, now I can't. This means if I'm looking at a route in a crowd before setting off I am stuck with whatever the last setting was. Often this means it starts blabbing away disturbing people. Revert to having the speaker icon visible on app start.

Buenas tardes, en Montevideo Uruguay hace algunos años atrás se a empezado a usar mucho radares móviles en la ciudad y ahora también en las rutas, mi sugerencia seria poder reportar radares móviles que los cambian todos los días o cada varios días de lugar. Desde ya muchas gracias

Change sound settings by voice command
Change sounds settings by voice command instead of by hand as sometimes the change in needed quickly

Speed Camera Alerts
It would be great if you could add a function for making the sound Alerts more prominent and repeatable ? not just a flash on the screen and maybe a spoken alert, the screen alert is easily missed whilst concentrating on driving, Maybe also be able to change the alert sound like in TomTom.

New London Sound Pollution Cameras!!
Due to complaints from residents, In London, especially in Kensington and Chelsea, there are now cameras which give fines to drivers based on the loudness of their vehicles. We need to add these cameras to Waze.

Speed trap
Speed trap notification should ALWAYS sound. If you are not over the speed limit, you risk accelerating before the trap and getting a fine.
Other alerts sound at any circumstance. At least, give the option to activate always on notificatios for speed traps.10 votes -
Speed limit multiple beeps for alerts when speed limit is exceeded.
I would love to have multiple beep sound when you exceed the speed limit, different beep options would be nice for user preferences

La detección de radar debe tener una opción de aviso si uno viene por debajo de la velocidad permitida.
También cuántos metros o millas antes del radar se quiere el aviso.
500m 750m 1000m.
Waze se ha vuelto poco confiable en este sentido los avisos a veces funcionan a veces no, esto sale muy caro si uno confía en la aplicación para evitar multas.1 vote -

- afficher la limite de vitesse surveillee par le radar de vitesse
- annoncer si depassement de vitesse et vitesse limite.
- manque avertissement a l'approche des radars de feux rouges.
- icone radar peu visible sur le plan il faudrait les metrent en surbrillance à l'approche (l'appli Glob fait tres bien tout cela sauf qu'il n'y a pas de navigateur !) (La communauté Glob est plus belge que Francaise)

speedometer alert
I would love the speedometer sound alert to have an option for keeping the sound on until you drop back down to the speed limit. No it chimes very softly once when you ecceed the limit and then nothing. There should be sound options and volume options too. With all the other alerts i often miss the small chime telling me im going to fast. Then theres no way to know when im back at the limit unless i keep looking at the little speedometer on the screen. The more i can do without taking my eyes off the road…

I wish a partnership with Blitzer.de so you can see all radar controls etc. in waze from blitzer.de and other way back :)

Set option to change between BT and phone speaker in settings during navigation
there is no option to change sound output between phone speaker or Bluetooth during navigation

You should add a flash screen alert. It will be more easier to see it. And the sound is not enaugh loud.

New sound idea for muted setting
I drive with voice and sounds on mute to not interrupt music and conversations.
I think it would be efficient and helpful to have an option of a little gong only 300m before a turn or a note about the ride. BUT just one, to give drivers an option to remember to look at the navigation route without really "annoying" the driver with loads of information...1 vote
