Integrate waze un car play!
I already enjoy waze app radio mode on my Pioneer car stereo but it would be very grate to also using waze from CarPlay interface. Any plans for this?

UX change to notifications display on CarPlay
Can the notifications that display for warnings such as roadworks, pot holes, etc., be changed to show square buttons next to eachother rather than long thin buttons above one another, as they are quite hard to press with your left hand (UK driver). Making the buttons square would be soooooo much easier to press and less error prone to fat fingers :)

Make report button on Apple CarPlay larger
The option keeps getting smaller on my accords display but when I pull the app up on my phone it’s much larger. It would help making the report button larger especially when driving

Reporting Turns of Apple Music in CarPlay
Since the "Talk to Report" feature was introduced for user reporting of road hazards etc, as soon as I touch the Report button Music stops and Waze chimes in. This works, but the music won't turn back on. This regardless of the fact that "Talk to Report" is turned off in settings on the iOS App. So far the only cure for Music is to reset the phone (and never report again)! This is a shame, as I like to be part of the community, but the current price is too high.

Option to submit reports via phone app while using CarPlay
It’s so much easier (therefore safer) for me to navigate a menu on my phone than on my car’s touchscreen dashboard; it’s harder to report on the car touchscreen because it’s farther away, less responsive, and the teeny tiniest little bump can move my finger and make me hit the wrong thing, so it keeps my eyes and focus off the road for longer than if I can just click through a menu on my phone with my thumb with a couple quick glances.
Currently, in order to use my phone for reports while using CarPlay I have to unplug…

Keyboard no longer available in CarPlay
Since most recent updates the keyboard is no longer available and addresses can only be entered using voice command.

Speed wrong
Speed shows 335 km/h while carplay is connected and the car is at 80km/h. If I disconnected carplay the speed in my phone is perfect.

School Zone
Please add "school Zone" option in carplay. This option would be beneficial instead of "wazers" giving the "hazard" notification for a school zone.

Need to add ability to adjust volume on the in dash system when using CarPlay. Current you have to do it on the phone its unsafe

Let me view routes while using CarPlay
New update has disabled viewing different routes on phone, feature was very helpful as it displayed toll prices.

When iPhone is unplugged, app keeps running and heats up phone.

Display correct current speed when in CarPlay
You should fix this problem that has been a problem for literal decades! The speed shown in Waze when in Car Play is always about 50% of the actual speed. This defeats the feature of letting you know the current speed and if you’re speeding. Sad that you won’t fix it.

App development / upgrade to display larger MPH on cellphone while using Carplay or Android Auto
Can Waze find a way to display the speed limit in large font on the cell phone in conjuntion with and while using Apple Carplay. Today when I open The Waze app on my cellphone while using Car play I get the turn by turn directions listed out. My idea would be an option to switch that to a larger MPH display/displays on the cellphone which would be easier to see that the smaller MPH that is on the map. Just a thought but I think you guys can do it.

Use Voice Commands to log Reports with Waze on CarPlay and Android Auto
While Waze allows users to use voice via their phones to log Reports, it does not support Voice to log Reports for users of Car Play and Android Auto. The fact that these users have to use the screen and potentially take their eyes off the road to navigate menus to log a report is quite dangerous. Please help vote this up, as more vehicles are now being equipped with Car Play and Android Auto. Thank you!

layout of responses to alerts in apple carplay
My suggestion is to put responses (like roadworks "Thanks"/ "Still there?") side by side as when its in list view the finger is bouncing up and down with the motion of the car and I always need to focus a bit more than I like on the touch screen vs looking at the road. Having it in a left/right view you would eliminate the potential of a wrong input as the motion of the car doesn't affect it (unless you are in heavy cornering, by when it's probably wise to have both hands on the wheel ;-) )

Following the update of my Apple phone 12 Pr Max to IOS 16, currently 16.1 there is considerable battery drain and overheating of the phone
Eversince I updated my iphone 12 pro max to IOS is whenever I use Apple Carplay and especially WAZE the phone overheats significantly in a very short timespan and also the battery drops dramatically in no time.
Is Waze aware of this problem ? Are they doing something to fix it.
The same issue does not occur when I use other navigation software’s in Apple Carplay.Please fix it as I can not continue using Waze with such dramatic battery use and overheating of the phone!
