Apple Car Play Issue
I love the Apple CarPlay feature. The only issue I have is the black search/favorites/voice bar doesn’t disappear as it does in Google maps. It takes up valuable map space. Could you please, in a future update, create a disappearing black bar after map is up? Thank you.

More Space Between “Thanks” & “Not There”
As I pass an alert, CarPlay screen asks me to choose either “Thanks” or “Not There.” The buttons are spaced so close together, sometimes I’m not sure if I accidentally pushed the wrong button. It would be helpful to space the buttons out. If they are further apart, it will be easier to hit the correct one, especially in a moving car.

Aplicativo Waze é mal elaborado para o Android Auto em comparação com a Apple CarPlay.
No Android Auto não é possível obter as orientações de direções no celular enquanto está ligado na tela do carro. Isso causa muito desconforto.

Let to use keyboard (as passanger) on Android Auto
As a user, I would like to have with Android Auto the same option as with Apple CarPlay to use the keyboard as a passenger.
Currently, while I'm driving with family f.e. on a highway in my country it's illegal to stop on the side of the road. So I'm not able to enter the destination address while in motion. My wife as a passenger has to plug out my phone from USB and enter it manually and plug it in again. It's just plain stupid. It's not even a security option if I have to use my phone to…

Hej ! använder waze via carplay. När jag dra ur sladden ligger Waze kvar i bakgrunden i min Iphone. Kan man ändra ?

Interface suggestion
When asking if police or disabled car on side of the road, perhaps separate the “still there” and “not there” buttons. Perhaps one on the top and one on the bottom. Sometimes I accidentally click the wrong button as the car is bumpy and the buttons are too close together. FYI. This is on Apple CarPlay.

Music Audio Quality
Dear @waze - I believe you have one of the best navigation app in the AppStore. But, there’s one major problem. When connected to Apple CarPlay, the audio quality is horrible when playing music!! Horrible enough that I’m forced to use Apple maps. Please fix this problem.

Sur mon CarPlay dans mon véhicule , plus de signalement des embouteillages normal (le premier sur l’application) il y a que embouteillages ”Important et à l’arrêt” alors que sur l’application il apparaît

Zoom - Reinstate the Capability
Waze zoom buttons no longer work but do using Apple Maps. This is as a result of recent Apple Carplay Template revision. Is Waze forcing users to move to Apple Maps for navigation for lack of zooming in the Waze app or will Waze revise the app to meet the Carplay Template Specs and reintroduce the zoom capabilities? Allow to user to decide to use zoom capabilities, not apple !!!!

Add more incidents or alerts in Apple Car
I request that the same warning or alert reasons available in the mobile app be added to CarPlay. For example, if a road is closed, there is currently no option to report it.

Right hand drive vehicles
The current set up on CarPlay is set up for left hand drive vehicles, here in the uk using the report functions is difficult, and also it looks odd that the directions are on the right side of the screen and the map is on the left, it’s difficult to see, please add an option to mirror everything for RHD vehicles, thank you :)

Car play
Improvement in the settings, what do you see? Some options or communications are not available when using the program via CarPlay, such as fuel, place, etc.

Remote control
As Spotify giving you the option to play a song on a phone from a different phone I want Waze to do that as well.
Example: I have an iPhone 8 sitting in my armrest on the snap-in and connected to carplay. On a second iPhone I am connected with the same account and I want to write the address on my second phone to not get the iphone out of the snap-in and so on. Don’t have a touchscreen headunit.
Also, when will Waze gives you the lane assist in BMW cluster while connected to carplay?1 vote -
Volkswagen ID Series Digital Cockpit Support
Add Volkswagen ID.4/any ID Series Digital Cockpit support!! Google Maps and Apple Maps take advantage of it. It shows when you connect through Carplay!

Fewer taps to make a report
When using CarPlay (or even my phone when I'm the right-side passenger), to report a vehicle stopped on the side of the road I must tap the orange "Report" circle, choose "Hazard," "Shoulder," "Vehicle Stopped." In CarPlay, when driving that takes my eyes from the road at least four times to identify/locate/push the appropriate button to make the report. Rather than spelling out the words for each part of the notice - perhaps readily identifiable icons could be "stacked" under the headings. Driving directions on virtual cockpit
Hey Wazers, I have found out, that when you use Apple Maps app through CarPlay, it is able to transfer information about next driving direction (for example "in 100m turn right" and an arrow) to the control unit of my car and it then shows it to me on my virtual cockpit. Since anothe iOS app can do this, I hope others should be able to, arent they? It will be really good to implement this...
