  1. Enhancing Navigation by Selectively Considering Planned Road Closures

    One possible solution could be to include a checkbox that allows editors to choose which planned closures are considered so important that they should be taken into account in the navigation before they become effective. This way, editors can select only the closures that are critical for navigation, while excluding those that are not as important.

    For example, in Switzerland these days, the Gotthard Tunnel is closed at night for cleaning. This closure can cause significant disruptions to travel, as the Gotthard Tunnel is an essential link between German-speaking Switzerland and the Italian-speaking Ticino region.   2. how about being able to click on a different part of the road that you are not on and sending a report of police or a hazard

  4. The name of the road to the client.

    Please do make that to create roads could soon Dowa name streets and roads in the client, and then edish record, but all do not remember the name.

  6. Train Blocking Roads

    Waze users need to be able to report if a train is blocking a road. I am a school principal and students are late to school because parents have no way of seeing if a road is blocked by a train until they pull up to it.

  7. A "heatmap" showing roads you have previously driven on and how often similar to Stravas "Personal Heatmaps"

    A map showing roads you have previously driven on and how much, the more used the road is the "hotter" it appears on the map. Then you can boast to your mates about how much of your town/county/country you have driven around!

  8. Do you have a snow mode? Flat road mode.

    I believe you should be able to click ONE button that says snow mode because that would say to WAZE to choose a route that has flat roads only, even if it takes me way out of my way it chooses either flat or the most traveled roads. That way, I will hit the least amount of icy hilly dangerous or unplowed side roads. It would override busy intersections or other choices but keep you flat and safe.

  11. entering problems on the road backwards

    Good day.
    It has happened to me several times, and I believe I will not be the only one, that I drove past a place on the road where there was a traffic accident or obstacle and I wanted to enter it into Waze navigation, but it cannot be done backwards. Only in the place where I am. I think it would be good to be able to enter a problem on the road retroactively. Thank you.

  12. Road interdiction in Car Play and Android Auto

    This week I came across a detour due to a closure of a road that was under repairs.
    I looked for the option in Car Play and couldn't find it.

    It is impossible to drive through an unexpected situation of changing routes, diverting through a place that you are still trying to understand while disconnecting the device from the car to look for the interdiction option.

    Concern increases as we are on the verge of events when the number of closures increases significantly.

    Please add the option to Car Play and Android Auto.

    Waze UK calls them Bumps, but they should be called Humps.
    Hump is a noun, they are hump shaped, like a humped-back bridge.
    Bump is a verb, you can bump into a door, a car can bump into post.

  14. way too hard to get road edit info to you. It rejected my google sign in - anyone should be able

    dedicated map edit does not work - won't let me log in and I want to edit a road in the US Virgin islands. I can log in here - but not on site on my computer to share a screenshot of the real road.

  15. Allow users to post information about road closures and hazards in their area, whether driving on the route or not.

    I would like to be able to reject one of the suggested routes, if I know that the road is closed, for instance, and have Waze offer another suggestion.
    I would also like to be able to suggest an alternate route by entering a road or tapping the map, and have Waze give me the ETA and traffic information along that route.

    Need way to edit/show one lane bridge, especially due to long term construction. Current situation causes two way traffic to wait while traffic lights on ramps and road cycle to allow only one ramp or roadway lane to proceed at a time from any direction.

    No existing Waze edit function to mark local bridge that is under repairs and causing traffic delays. How can we show detour?   19. Would be great to have the road bumper flagged on the map, maybe advised 100 metres before.

    implement the maps and the advise during the navigation with road bumper position and sound to advise it at least 100 metres before the position.
    Or at least let the possibilities for other wazer to flag it

    Hello waze team here is abe writing a suggestion.
    Problem: many road bifurcations, or multiple ramification roads specially in obtuse angle + between primary and secondary non clear small roads bring about navigation mistakes.

    solution: upon getting near the critical point of deviation Please make an automatic zoom ( 80M radius) to the relevant area and also insert blinking / intermittent dots to all existing ramification points ( green Dot for the correct lane to follow and black dots for all non relevant existing deviation roads. this way the driver visualize the correct direction in the road…
