Be able to touch your route and post a hazard (chain in the road) after you have stopped at a later time and it is safe to post.

Use special tiles for not downloaded areas
Let the waze client use a special tile for not downloaded areas. When on a slow connection you sometimes realise there's no road where you are, so you enable construction mode just to realise a minute later that the roads in the area just weren't finished downloading to your phone yet.

Rain or heavy rain weather report?
Hello waze team!
It would be great if waze could make a new hazard weather report on "raining" or "heavy rain" on the road. I believe it was sort of missing in hazard>weather report section.

Force Reroute Button
Many times i can see that the freeway/higway I´m about to enter is slow moving, and waze wants to route me into that sometimes even if there is reported trafficjams/heavy traffic etc on that road. A button on screen or easy accesssible (poosibly instead of the bulldozer) to force an alternative route would really help

One of the options is to recalculate the route, i.e. force a reroute. -
Dark Mode Map with Map Editor Road Colors
Dark mode map featuring the map editor colors. Background would be black with local streets showing up as white or very light grey, Primary Street shows up as yellow, minor highway as green, Major Highway as blue, and Freeway as purple.

Report pin
Suggestion: allow for hazard report on map pin drop.
Often times we pass construction or road hazards by the time we have an opportunity to report them.10 votes -

Street names covering the turn on the road
When the car needs to turn, the street name goes over the turning or corner line. You then can't see which turning you need to take if multiple roads you could turn down or a lane to get into. This is since an update early in 2025

Current "top/bottom" radio buttons for confirming reports are difficult to press on bumpy roads. Can they be modified to be side by side?sid

automatic pot holes detection
At our university we have developed Android app which automaticaly analyses data from accelerometer and detects pot holes and road problems. We mark them to the map so the drivers are informed about a road problem ahead of them. See the app in PLAY store - bit.ly/1RCLM3P

INCLUDE KAMIKAZE´S ALERT IN WAZE
LIVES COULD BE SAVED BY INCLUDING A QUICK ACCESS KAMIKAZE (vehicle driving in the wrong direction) ALERT ON WAZE. KAMIKAZES IS ONE, IF NOT THE DEADLIEST DANGERS THAT YOU CAN ENCOUNTER ON A ROAD AND WAZE DO NOT HAVE THIS ALERT. I THINK IT SHOULD INCLUDE IT ASAP

Waze RoadTrip- A New Option for Wazers
You will likely want to hear an idea that will expand your audience and retain your current customer base.
Recently, I embarked on an excursion from Orlando, FL to Charleston, SC. It’s a fairly short road trip, but within those 6 hours, I wondered to myself how great it would be to see more than just the highway in front of me and the trees that lined the road. I quickly grew exhausted from seeing the same paved road, white lines, and billboard signs over and over again.

Weigh vehicle position to show more of road ahead.
Weigh vehicle position towards back of map to show more of the route yet to travel rather than center of map when in a north-up mode. Currently the cursor is in the center of the map showing much of the route you have traveled. This would make better use of the small screen to show what's ahead.

Voice commands when using Waze in Android Auto
Please update Waze so that I can use voice to report hazards. When using Waze on my phone, I can report hazards via Google assistant but it does not work when using Waze in Android auto. I have to look away from the road and touch screen 3 different time to report a hazard. Very dangerous

Apple CarPlay shortcut for reporting a hazard
To report a hazard (ie pothole) requires 4 clicks. Would be great if there was a few one click shortcuts to report the most common hazards such as a pothole, police, and vehicle stopped on side of road. This would be much safer than fumbling around to report a pothole while driving.

When reporting a hazard the update does not allow to specify on the other side of the road, like it used to. LOVE THE APP.
Can the "Other side" be added when reporting a hazard? Used ot be able to report a truck on the other side of the road. Cant do that anymore.

This suggestion will not be implemented for the time being. Adding more and more options to reporting, especially for less popular types of reports such as other side which will also require another window/card, is not something we are aiming for at the moment. Please be aware that other side reporting is already available by voice using the Google Assistant! We believe investing in voice can create essentially a better and more scalable experience and we hope to bring it to more languages soon.

Speed before sharp curves or in rough weather
Alert when a user drive to fast before curve in the road or a coming intersection.
Waze knows the speed of the car and "knows" that we are getting close to a sharp curve in the road , alert in that case would be very important . Especillay in a rough weather.5 votesGreat thinking! The issue you raised has been addressed in a recent redesign. Hope you like it!

mute sounds
A sound option to mute sounds for reporting road conditions. It keeps making sounds that mute my music if i report a car on the shoulder etc
