Traffic lights option button
Hello wazers. There are some traffic lights that are fast enough to pass through and some others that are extremely slow (2-3 cars per time). Waze commonly proposes directions through traffic lights (Even when there are other options).

Waze - Plan my day route scheduling
A great addition to the Waze App would be to have it plan my entire day or something as simple as errands. Start by entering a start time and a list of addresses to visit (e.g. drop-off kids, grocery store, and other errands....getting me back home in time to pick-up the kids at school at the end of the school day), Waze could optimize my route and schedule based on traffic and ETA. It might even choose the most effective route by reordering the destinations/waypoints. Other applications are for small businesses to do route planning to save time and fuel.…

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year. We hope to have it included in our plans for later years and will keep you posted.

Heavy traffic: "make a corridor for emergency vehicle access"
Hello,
in some countries it is mandatory to make a corridor for emergency vehicle access (According to Wikipedia: Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany) when you are stuck in heavy traffic. Although there are a lot of campaigns on building a "Rettungsgasse" in Germay, a lot of people still don't do it, potentially endangering the life of the victims of accidents.
I suggest adding the recommendation to form this corridor to the alert for heavy traffic and standstill.

Improve "forgot username or password" process
I upgraded to a new phone. Forgot my username & password but the entire existing process is circular. Put in my phone number (didn't receive a text w/in 24 hours). Put in my email address (didn't receive an email w/in 24 hours). I charged & started my old phone to get my username. Once I retrieved it and put it into the new phone I received a verification code via text. I used that code and then added my full name - and I was given a new user name which I did not choose. It would be great to be able to tell the app that we are a carpool and get adjusted travel time predictions and routes maximizing use of HOV lanes when beneficial

Truck routes
Waze dev team,
Please consider an option for drivers (Waze users) to enter in their vehicle height so that Waze can provide them with suitable routes, avoiding routes with low bridges/clearance?
This would be applicable for truck drivers, tradespeople with work vans and work equipment on roof as well as casual drivers with trailers.
Reason for this is to avoid the frequent low bridge collisions or congestion due to truck having to back out of road.
In Australia, prior to GPS maps such as Waze or Google Maps, we used to have truck edition of paper maps or map books…

Feature Request - Add the ability to reach out to the community for help in a breakdown or accident
A topic came up in a FB motorcycle group about ways to signal to other users that you need help. Perhaps you ran out of gas, have a flat, or some other issue that requires tools. I carry tools with me on my bike to fix most issues that could arise. Although I look for helmets on pavement or some indication that a Wazer might be in need of help, it would be easier to have a Pulsing icon on my route map that easily identifies anyone that may be in need of assistance.

One Touch Reports in Car Play / Android Auto - Customizable
It would be great to have the ability to customize one-touch reports.

In this case, I made vehicle on shoulder, police, and object on the road as my "One Touch."
I also added a compass to the navigation bar on the bottom left. (The compass I used is far too busy for Waze.)40 votes -
Only speed limit. Not current speed
I want to see my speed limit always with a big size. I don't wish to see my current speed. A car can show us our current speed.
But Waze shows both only and speed limit which I need most is very small. Why do we need to see our current speed there? Could you pls arrange settings for it?40 votes -

When you tag a police location using Apple CarPlay you get one option, when you use the phone you get 'visible', 'hiiden' and 'other side'. Can the extra options be added to CarPlay?

CB-like push-to-talk (walkie-talkie) button to talk to wazers around you.
CB-like push-to-talk button to talk to wazers around you in an adjustable radius area or on the same road. This would be a very used feature in Romania, where CB transceivers are very used in cars. Many people who do not have a physical one would use the Waze alternative, and many would switch from physical CB to waze.
