1. "Do not disturb" - silence for safety

   There are apps that block or mute messages and calls that interrupt the driver. Though, One must be aware, remember and start these apps before every ride. I recommend Adding a "silence" option in waze setting. The option should allow to block calls,messages, FB etc. individually or all at once.

2. Speed Trap notifications

   I'd like to see permanent or semi-permanent notifications for known speed traps. I'd also like to post about said traps so others don't get caught but can't figure out how to drop a notification remotely

3. Bridge opening

   We have a lot of draw/lift bridges in the area and it would be nice if we could either report the bridge opening as a "Wazer" or if there was a way to gather that info from the web to auto generate on our app.

4. Increase the number of polygons on the map

   In Live-map the map is well drawed & high level detailed. But when i see same region in Waze-client its not looks so fine, because at least half of polygons was optimized. Its makes Waze-client looks badly & not so attractive.

5. Add Ethanol-Free as an additional grade of fuel

   When reporting gas prices, the highest-priced unleaded fuel seems to automatically wind up being thought to be premium, when premium can often be cheaper than ethanol-free fuels of lower octane rating. Having the ability to report ethanol-free fuel prices may help avoid such mistakes.

6. Allow color themes for the night mode

   While we can swap between various colors themes in the day mode, this is not available in the night mode. Unfortunately, the colors displayed on my mobile are not offering an easy navigation, as the difference in color between roads and the way to follow is hard to distinguish.

7. Partner with Chrysler so Waze can be one of the apps displayed on the screen of the new Uconnect systems in 2013 Rams etc

   The new Uconnect system supports some mobile apps and I think Waze would be awesome to use on it instead of just merely hearing Waze through the speakers.

8. Prevent drivers from spamming map editors with update requests (URs)

   Waze volunteer map editors have, over a number of years, have raised concerns about the ability for app users, whether intentionally or unintentionally, to submit a high volume of map update requests through the app and other sources. This issue has been consistently raised by volunteer editors at all levels, including editors, area managers, state and country managers, as well as local and global champs who are on the ground editing the map daily. It has also been discussed at local, mega, and global meetups.

   To date, this security concern has not yet been addressed, which is why I am submitting this as a UserVoice suggestion. At present, it is possible for a single driver to submit a very large number of update requests in a short period of time, for example 20 within a minute. Introducing reasonable limits on the number of reports that can be submitted within a defined timeframe is essential to combat map abuse, reduce unnecessary workload for volunteer editors, and improve the overall quality of map updates.

   On behalf of the volunteer editing community, we respectfully ask that Waze consider implementing measures to prevent excessive or repetitive map update submissions, so that editor time can be focused on meaningful and accurate reports.

9. Remove WORK from My Waze.

   Provide option for the User to remove WORK from being one of the Where To selections in My Waze. I would imagine many users are Retired, like me, and just assume not have it 'cluttering' up the list.

10. Adding report option of Fire Trucks, EMTs, Emergency Personnell causing traffic congestion

    In NYC and other major cities fire trucks and emergency personnel tend to cause traffic congestion and causing delays. I think waze should add a report feature for this type of activity since reporting closure wouldn't make sense in a temporary situation.

11. keep the Ghostbusters theme

    Vote here to keep the Ghostbusters theme. Having Ecto1 as a car option with Ray's (Dan Aykroyd) voice is an amazing driving experience we all have enjoyed. One of the reasons many users even switched to Waze was just for this option. Let make it permanent for the true fans and all others to enjoy!

13. Toll roads alert

    A great feature would be the possibility to keep toll roads enabled but receive an alert when a route includes that kind of road (toll road)

14. Move (Install) to SD Card (Android)

    I would like to be able to move waze to my SD card. I have 2.2, but my phone does not have enough internal storage for all my apps. It would be awesome if I could move this to my SD since it is one of the larger apps.

15. Speed limit and gps speed widgets

    Would be very helpful to be able to increase the size of the widgets and select where the display them. I only have a 7 inch screen and cannot see them. Widgets should be on driver's side not passenger side.

16. Reporting closures from further away

    Closures can currently only be reported if you're right next to the road. I can't always report it because I'm on a roundabout or having to redirect quickly so as not to cause traffic. However, I can pull over a road or two away to report it but the app doesn't allow this since I can only report it if I'm on or next to the closed road.
    I think this is an essential feature that needs to be added because sometimes there aren't diversion signs and I have to find my own way around it without waze because it'll tell me I can go down the closed road when I can't.

18. Differentiate "dirt road" of "4x4 trail".

    "Dirt road / 4x4 trail" should be called "4x4 trail" only, and keep the same navigation capabilities as now, only to be allocated as such the badly damaged roads that only 4x4 vehicles are able to travel it.
    In the "street category" should be added a new type of segment called "dirt road", which would be passable streets for any vehicle but their ability to circulate them may vary due to various external factors such as weather. Because of this, they should suffer some level of penalty in the routing, and allows the "avoid dirt roads" in the application for the wazer (this option should generate routes with the least amount of "dirt roads" when there were no other navigation option when is set a target in a "dirt road" segment).

19. Prevent police from removing a report.

    Police have caught on to Waze. They always click "not there" when someone reports them in Waze. An easy way to keep that from happening is to only allow the "not there" response from a moving vehicle. That way the stationary cop can't delete the report.

20. POIs: automatically recognize location and search option

    Currently there is no 'City' field in the POI definition. When defining a new one (for instance gas station or train station), you have to specify the city in the name if you want to make it findable within a city search (for instance you want to serach all gas station in the city you are wazing). Thus congesting the map.
    Maybe an option when searching for POIs to restrain research within a certain range would be helpful too.
