1. User Report: option to share destination

   Editors often receive User Reports (URs) categorized as “map issue” that actually refer to problems with the route suggested by Waze to the destination.

   However, editors currently have no way of knowing which destination the user entered in the app, which makes it difficult - and sometimes impossible - to properly analyze the reported issue.

   I fully understand the privacy concerns involved. Still, I suggest offering users, on an optional basis, the ability to share their destination when submitting a UR, especially in cases related to “incorrect address” or “incorrect instructions.”

   This would allow editors to investigate issues much more accurately and significantly increase resolution rates, without compromising user privacy, since sharing the destination would always be voluntary and contextual.

2. Why do some reports require two confirmations in Car Play?

   Why do some report confirmations require "Still There" to be selected twice? It seems to be based on distance from the incident for some reason, i.e. if I'm very close it seems to need on, but farther away asks twice.

3. enable Navigation while AVOIDING "RED ROADS"(roads defined as such by authorities/NGO's). Red Road = higher probability for an accident.

   Nation wide, the safety level of road infrastructure reflects budget constarints, professional considerations-mistakes etc.

   Government as well as NGO's e.g. Or Yarok(Israel) monitor accident rates(as well as severty) per LOCATION.....

   Thus it is possible to rate certain roads/junctions as RED - being more dangerous, based on hard statistics.

   Most of the drivers are NOT aware of above(i.e. that they can drive to their destination with significantly lower accident risk) and would probably be happy not to RISK their families and hence chose an alternative, safer road.
   Regardless of the fact that it would require longer driving.

   Such measure would lead to reduction !!!! of traffic in dangerous RED areas, until the problem would be solved-if at all.

   This is a clear life saving measure.

   RED points/roads should be defined by MOT-NOGO's and updated regularly.

   A public relations buzz must be created to allow the public to protect itself from using high risk roads.

   This is a classical example to WAZE's potential contribution to save life and fight road accidents, world wide.

4. Sugiro Opção para desativar chamadas online e notificações celular

   Sugiro botão que DESATIVE chamadas de celular, ou principalmente chamadas no WhatsApp e notificações, quase sofri acidente seguindo waze e me ligavam por chamada WhatsApp, impedindo a visualização da rota, perdi a rua correta e quase bati o carro. Necessário corrigir urgente para nossa segurança.

It could be possibly done by changing the colour of the speed icon (i.e., for example from gray to yellow and then red) to make the message very intuitive , without compel us to distract to read the small numbers on the icon.

6. Report traffic lights with poor timing

   I think there could be many benefits to reporting traffic lights with unapporpriate timing mechanisms, i.e. a light on a through street which turns red with great frequency when no cars or pedestrians are using the cross street. This holds up traffic unnecessarily and can cause further congestion. This information could be sold or provided to cities to help them use aggregate information to determine which lights potentially need to have their timing adjusted (Waze could aggregate the top 10 worst timed traffic lights in the city). This information could also be used internally by Waze to help provide the potential fastest route, based on the known likelihood that a traffic light will be red.

8. Reporting Queue

   Can you please add reporting queue. When, e.g. I am traveling for 60 km's I get 5 or 6 reports per travel, but I want to simply record the location and use "Later" button to report it later (at destination, or gas station), but when I do this twice or more, the last report overwrites the previous one, so I can't post all problems (constructions, map errors, etc.).

   I know, for example when I am reporting car at edge of road, this might be old information, but I want to use this option mainly for constructions, map errors, etc. where it takes me more time to report it and i want to report it at car which is fully stopped and you know on highway it is difficult to stop.

9. Being able to report an incident from anywhere

   I would like the ability to report an incident from anywhere on the map. i.e. If I am driving down the road and I see an accident, but because I am driving, I am not able to report it at that moment. If I pull up to a red light, I would be able to zoom in on the map on the app and report it. I have tried to do this before, but, I just wound up reporting an accident of where I currently was instead of where I was zooming in on the map. I believe this is much safer since we shouldn't be on our phones while driving.

10. Map zoom annoying

    OK. I love Waze, but certain things can be quite annoying.

    I wanted to find an alternate route and had a few problems.

    First, when I went to select an alternate route, Waze didn't give me enough info to be able to select the route I wanted. It just gave me the initial roads, but not cities that I normally would use to select a route waypoint.

    The map showed cities that I was not very familiar with. (e.g. Washington DC to Allentown, PA did not show York, Lancaster or places I could identify)

    And most annoying, I had auto-zoom off, but Waze insisted on zooming in and rotating the map if I didn't constantly touch or adjust the display. Very frustrating!

14. PREVIEW my frequent route and give me an overview

    Let me store common routes (commutes, etc), then when I'm ready to leave for work or leave work for home, Waze would 'preview' my route and automatically send me a txt or email with an overview....i,e., "traffic heavy on I-275, suggest US-23 instead" or "high police activity on I-94, suggest M-22 instead"... it could even be time based where it would automatically send if it's a normal commute day so I know if I have to leave earlier to make it in time.

16. Carbon CO2 footprint

    in order to reduce the carbon CO2 footprint it would be nice if you could calculate estimated time not only based on the speed limits and current traffic-load. I.e. set the max speed to 90 km/h will reduce the carbon footprint with almost 30 % on longer trips, you could have this as an individual choice. As example I hade average 4,5 liter per 100 Km on a 330 km drive instead of 6,8 when drive within speed limit 110/120 km/h it take 30 minutes longer but it´s much calmer and less stress.

    Vamos ser mais objetivos com botões flutuantes no app pode ser até opcional ou para usuários parceiros que adicionan radares, lombadas e buracos de forma mais objetiva, me disponho a ser um desse auxiliadores assim conseguimos tornar melhores e mais seguras as nossas viagem

20. Auto-Brightness Bug

    I've uncovered a bug in the iOS version. Somehow, Waze is disabling the auto-brightness feature on my iPhone. I've restored my phone twice now due to this issue, and the last time I did so I installed no other apps other than Waze to see if it would happen again....it did.

    The phone shows that auto brightness is turned on, but it does not function - i.e. it simply stays at whatever brightness it is set to regardless of the ambient light. Couldn't find a place to post the bug on your site, so thought I'd put it here!
