Hazard/alert notification not showing in split screen.
Hi, alert widget that showed on top of the media app on split screen has been removed?
It was so useful!
Now everytime that there's an alert I have to tap on the map to make it fullscreen and then tap on the confirmation button.
I love AA in split screen and that little widget on top of media app when there is an alert on waze was useful.Now I'm forced not to confirm or do nothing so I won't be distracted because I have to tap more times, leading to less contributions.

Default Icons for Common Selections on main selection screen instead of going through menu selections
Allow users to create defaults for commonly used selections.
Example, when car is located on a route on the side of the road, you have to select hazard -> on shoulder -> vehicle stopped.
Would be nice to have the button vehicle stopped on main screen as it is one of the most common selections I choose.

Improve contrast on the Navigation Screen
The top of the nav screen in the daytime is black with blue and white letters. There is not enough contrast to see the words when looking into the backlight of a windshield. Google maps uses white on green which is much easier to see. Please fix this.

Keep the app from turning off navigation
If you have the app open in the background, or while the screen is off or locked, navigation can stop if you are stopped for too long. This is beyond frustrating. When I am riding my motorcycle, I listed to the navigation on my bluetooth system. I keep my phone screen locked in my pocket. However, if I am stopped in traffic or at a stop light too soon, then navigation will completely stop. I have to stop, unlock my phone, and then when I open waze, it asks if I want to resume navigation. DO NOT…

The Waze screen keeps going black on my iPhone. Make it so the iPhone does not go dark when Waze is running and is connected to power.

Fix the arrow moving randomly to the centre of the screen.
Recently, the arrow showing our location keeps moving from the bottom of the screen to the middle. It's a bug experienced by many users. When will it be fixed? The arrow in the middle blocks the view of the road.

The Report button was designed to be noticed while blending in and it’s important to keep it as is.
However, we will revisit this idea when working on Dark mode, in the future. Furthermore, since this is a physical issue that OLED phones suffer from in different apps, we recommend to use Battery Saver mode to allow your display some rest from bright colors that might lead to this dysfunction.

App shouldn't close simply because I turn off the screen
This not an idea, it's a complaint.
I enter a route and it maps out.
Seconds after I turn off the screen, the app CLOSES.
This issue started last week.
I seriously do not need the screen on the entire drive. What happened?1 vote -
Event notification pop-up.
Current event notification covers the majority of the center screen, obstructing view of where the event is specifically located. Adding transparency or moving to a ticker at the top or bottom of screen would be a great improvement.

Speedo onscreen when phone screen is dimmed / off to save battery
I turn my phone screen off when on long stretches to save battery, and listen out for audio prompts and alerts.
Please can the speedo, and possibly any alert icon, stay on screen in this mode while the app is running?

Make current speed, speed limits and warnings the largest images on the CarPlay phone companion screen
Rather than next turns or route events shown on your phone screen when the maps are pushed to a CarPlay screen, can we have a large view of current speed, speed limits and upcoming road warnings instead (or as a third view option)?

Auto dimming
When not using a car charger, it would be nice to have an auto dimming option to save battery.
This would work by automatically dimming the screen to almost complete darkness when on long stretches of road without any turns. As a turn approaches or for any alerts, the screen returns to the original brightness level. This will save a lot of battery.58 votesConfigurable at Settings – Battery saver

I listen to a lot of music while I drive - it would be great if it was easy to hit one button on main Waze screen to run a Google ‘Search A Song’ query and a playlist created somewhere

Possibility to disable splash screen IOS App
In latest IOS updates I noticed new beautiful splash screen while loading application, but currently it takes twice as much time, before it wasn’t existing on my IPhone 15 Pro. Is it possible to add toggle in settings to disable it?

Please put the button for friends back on the navigation screen. I use that all the time. I almost never look at the inbox so burying that is fine. I don't see where anything was gained by moving the friends into the menu structure.
