Audio alerts for speed and red light cameras
My audio alerts for speed and red light cameras stopped working a few months ago. I'm running waze directly on my phone (Google pixel 7) with the latest version of Android OS and waze app installed. My settings for alerts are correct. I see the flashing camera on the map and text alert on the screen but audio alerts are not working. I live in NYC where cameras are on every other block. Option to turn off alerts for speed cameras on regularly traveled roads
It is helpful to have speed camera alerts on roads you’re new to or rarely travel on.
However it’s disruptive when you get alerts for speed cameras you regularly pass while commuting.
Using basic pattern recognition software on regular routes drivers could be provided the option to turn off camera alerts for the specific route(s).

give option to opt out of "Mobile data not available" that pops up after EVERY phone call I make, forcing me to click "ok" to see Waze again
When I make a phone call with Waze open, after the call is connected and the phone call is displayed, a box pops up saying "Mobile data not available" and explains that certain apps are affected. I don't need this reminder after EVERY call and by now i know it quite well. Please give us an opt out button so I don't have to be distracted by clicking "ok" to remove this box and display Waze again. Thank you, Mike :)

Need an update for overheating phone!!
When using Waze on CarPlay it causes my phone to heat up quickly and end up stop charging and kills my battery ( 40% in an hour) by running Waze on CarPlay. This needs addressed. It started happening after the iOS 16 update and doesn’t do it with any other navigation app or any other app period.
Please fix this. Oh and add stop signs yield signs and traffic lights to the app as well.

The "mute during calls" and "play on phone speaker" sliders need to be interconnected
Here is the problem with the "Play sound via: Play on phone speaker" setting. With both "mute during calls" and "pause spoken audio" turned off, I noticed that if I have airpods in and they are being used as the device's default audio settings, I will hear all Waze alerts, as expected, on the phone's speaker.
However, if I'm on a call with the airpods, then all alerts and spoken audio are absent. I would like to hear my alerts and directions from the phone's speaker while I'm on calls with my airpods. However, my experience is quite…

Consecutive alerts within a short distance
At the moment, the Waze app provides alerts (such as hazard reports or speed/red light camera) approximately 400-500m away from the location. After driving past the report or camera, Waze doesn't check if there are any further alerts in the next 400-500m and as such, drivers miss out on this information.
An example is at the first traffic light, there is a red light camera, however after turning, the next traffic light (assuming it is relatively close/within 500m) also has a red light camera. Drivers currently only receive one alert for the first red light camera…

Direction Indicators for Speed Cameras
Add a small directional arrow or some kind of indicator next to each speed camera symbol on the map, indicating which direction that camera is monitoring. No indicator if the speed camera monitors both sides, which is rare but still exists.

Flip phone support
Hello guys, any chance you can add support for the Samsung z flip?
With Google maps and other apps, when you fold the phone it puts the map on half the screen.
I really want to use this app and sack off the usless Google maps but I fold my phone to fit on my dash and this hasn't got the capability of working folded.
Look forward to trying the app while driving

Phone Charging Indication while navigating with app
It would be great to have an icon on the map display indicates that your phone is charging or plugged in while navigating with the waze app. There have been several times while driving and my phone was accidentally not correctly seated in the car charging cradle. I was navigating on battery power and the only indication was when I received a low battery warning notification from the phone OS. Add Average Speed Display Next to Remaining Distance in Speed Camera Zones
I have a feature suggestion that could greatly enhance driver awareness and safety:
Please display the current average speed next to the remaining distance when driving in zones monitored by average speed cameras.Why this matters:
It helps drivers maintain the right pace throughout the entire zone. Reduces last-minute braking near the end of the zone. Makes the driving experience less stressful and more controlled.Other navigation apps are beginning to include similar features, and I believe Waze can do it even better.

Disable Bluetooth usage in app. I use Bluetooth as a care phone, but listen to the radio.
I use the Bluetooth for car phone use, but listen to the radio. Because you can't turn off Bluetooth use in waze, it runs silent because it's trying to alert you by Bluetooth.. a setting for Bluetooth use within the app would be helpful..
