I’d like to propose a community-reported Safety Alert for situations where unusual or unclear activity near the roadway creates uncertainty and potential risk, even when the cause is not clearly visible or identifiable.
In these moments, uncertainty itself becomes a road safety issue, leading to panic braking, sudden U-turns, or drivers unknowingly entering unstable areas.
Examples include:
Sudden crowd activity blocking streets
Chaotic traffic behavior with no clear incident
Loud or alarming sounds affecting driver focus
Unstable situations where drivers begin stopping or turning around abruptly
In these cases, uncertainty itself becomes a road safety issue.

Fix the 3 finger, while driving hazard reporting!
I used to LOVE Waze. Now I pretty much hate it. You need to bring back the ability to report issues and hazards while people are actively driving. I loved that I used to be able to press the screen with three fingers and say "hazard." Then the map voice would ask ' what type of hazard; on road or on shoulder or done.' It was amazing, I could report anything easily while still safely driving; the the map voice would give choices for what to report and actually send a real report. Now the only way I can report…

Watch my Drive - Orthographic mistake in Catalan version
When sharing your drive, your friend receives the following message:
"Estic fent servir Waze per anar a xxx, arrivaré a les17:50. "
It should say instead:
"Estic fent servir Waze per anar a xxx, arribaré a les 17:50. "
So "arrivaré" is correctly spelt as "arribaré", and there is a missing space before the hour.2 votes -

Fix a bunch of ****!
Shared drives should be retrievable at least until complete. They disappear when the app is switched or closed until or unless a change in duration happens.
Also your FB and Google log in buttons don’t work, and I had to set up a new duplicated account to make suggestions because you jackasses can’t validate via the application I’m already logged into to use!!!! Fix it! It’s like you’re hiding from suggestions and now I’m irate while suggesting.1 vote -
Reports On Driving Habits
It would be helpful to run reports against our driving habits. In other words, I would like a report of how long my average commute is, to and from work...which days are my commutes the longest/shortest, which routes for my commute are the best/worst etc. Are these types of reports/options being considered?

Waze driving profiles
I am using waze while Driving my car and I am also using waze while driving my motorcycle.
While using my car, I do not use alerts. While driving my motorcycle I am using a lot of alerts because you cannot check your Phone so often.
I think a new feature using different profiles for different vehicles would be very nice for a lot of people1 vote -
Community-generated driving route recommendations
Is it possible for Waze (though, this definitely needs approval and careful study) to include a feature for the drivers to suggest or make possible route recommendations? Anyway, Waze is community-generated. Google search results are often inaccurate, based on the reports that we have been receiving.
As the driver, always (or often or most of the time) know the possible route or driving direction. And possibly with this, other wazers will be able to contribute to the route. A wazer may suggest a possible route for others to follow.
I just thought of having some sort of 'crowd sourcing' in…

Make the speed limit bigger and permanently visible on screen. I don’t like having to make it appear by driving a little faster
Can you make the speed limit stay on permanently. And bigger. It’s too small and takes a number of seconds (eyes off road seconds) to glance down looking for it. When unsure of the speed limit in areas where it changes a lot then the only way to make it appear is to drive faster and look for what point it flashes up. This is not safe. I would love it to just be there all of the time.

Winter driving reports
I would love to see more reports that alert drivers of specific winter hazards such as:
"icy roads"
"snow drifts"
"blowing snow"

Scenic drive routes
There are scenic drive routes in some cities around the world. I am in San Francisco and SF has a 49 miles Scenic Drive that we need to follow a bird sign. Sometimes we lost it and have to return back. My idea is to Waze navegante from where I am to the nearest location where the Scenic Route is and then continue to this Scenic Route until where I started. this route. Toggle Carpool on and off when using Android Auto
Once the phone is connected to the vehicle, there is no way to easy toggle on and off the carpool. As a parent that drives the kids to and from school, I constantly go from single person to three people, and if I do not remember to change the settings before plugging the phone, I cannot toggle carpool off and off. I need an easy way to toggle carpool on and off when in the Android Auto.

I drive an old car that can't exceed 110km/h
I drive an old car that can't exceed 110km/h, since the ETA is necessarily calculated with speed max of each roads, with my car on a highway (130km/h) the ETA is wrong, would it be possible to set a maximum speed for my vehicle ?

Calculate ETA based on own average speed
ETA calculation seems to be based on traffic conditions and general average speed. ETA calculation seems to be inaccurate when driving below the average speed of the road-segment as it keeps increasing while driving with constant (low) speed.
It would be great if ETA calculation would also be accurate for vehicles going below average speeds (e.g. trucks in europe etc.)

Mark bad quality road
There are so many roads witch are paved, but the quality is so awful, its more like driving on dirt road or trail. Would be great to mark bad quality roads so I could avoid driving there and save my car instead of braking it driving trough. Of course there should be an option to avoid bad quality roads also in the Waze app. I hope to see this feature in soon future. Best regards

I'd like to be able to add a stop along a drive in the Android Auto implementation.
In the normal Waze UI, I can add a stop along my trip. In Android Auto, I cannot do this. The Google Navigation app on Android Auto allows it and makes the UI for such a feature pretty simple to manage.
