Adding rfid for the expressway to suggest correct toll gate
Maybe we can ask the user if they have rfid for specific expressway so that waze can suggest the correct toll gate. It will be good for newbie drivers that doesnt know that much on the current expressway

Avoid rough roads
I live in the Dallas area which has some roads so rough a 4x4 would have to do 5mph not to get damage, and I drive a sporty car with relatively low and stiff suspension. I would like the option to avoid rough roads because it has cost me tires and rims in the past which both are $250+ each and has caused literally caused frame damage from potholes that were over 10" deep

Add option to avoid mountain passes
Sometimes, specially by bad weather or at night, a mountain pass can be really scary. I would prefer to do more KMs to catch a Tunnel, for example.
It would be great to have the option to avoid them or at least a warning.

Use a different color for toll roads
Advising users of the usage of toll roads on the map would help them deciding if they want to pay or not.
in the current situation of the significant fuel rises, money becomes an important element against time spent, speed being no longer the right argument.

Toll amount display should adjust as you go along trip. Just like distance and time.
I live in an area of Florida (US) that has toll roads everywhere, It would be nice if as you pass a toll, the toll amount displayed would adjust to what amount remains as opposed to the unchanged toll total for the trip. Just like Time and mileage adjust so you know whats left. It is much more informative to know how much you have left to help decide if getting off a toll road makes sense or not.

Provide the option to Avoid a route through a state
As states continue to press forward on legislation hostile to the LGBTQ+ community - with some even including potential arrests for being in your gender identity - please consider an option to avoid routing through an area, such as a city or state.
This will be key for the personal safety of LGBTQ+ community members.

When someone on the highway or express road is driving against the flow we could notify others to avoid accident.

Add an option to always avoid construction/road works
Construction / Road works often come with temporary traffic lights due to lane closures, which are very slow and cause congestion. Waze should have the option to avoid these at all costs.

Bring back Service Lanes
I'm frustrated with the recent attempts by Waze to take me off of the main road and into the Service Lane, only to tell me to get back onto the main road further up.
I disagree with this method of saving time because it's rude to other users and not a constructive use of the road.Previously, Waze labelled these roads differently to the actual road and wouldn't route you there unless necessary for arriving at your destination. Make it possible to set what street(s) to avoid
In Sweden, there are cities where you are not allowed to drive a car with studded winter tires on certain streets. It will be good to have the possibility to set it up in navigation settings to avoid these streets.

Add an "Avoid traffic" routing option
I don't mind adding a few minutes to my trip if it means I can keep moving and not get stuck in traffic. Waze already has the data to make this type of routing possible.

Add option to avoid low bridges based on vehicle height.
Low bridges need to be avoided. Need an option to route based on avoiding low bridges. Vehicle height or minimum bridge height could be used to route.

Safety
Using Waze I drove from Long Branch NJ to Merrick NY. I was directed from NJ Rt. 36 onto the express lanes of the Garden State Parkway north to exit at exit 125. The express lanes end 1/4 mile from exit 125 on the right, requiring that I cut across 3 lanes of moving traffic at a high speed in a very short distance in order to get to the exit. Use traffic data to know when a toll road is open
Waze currently thinks Toll Roads are open at certain times (e.g., northbound open from 5:00-11:00; southbound open from 12:00-20:00). In reality, they open/close at non-set times. However, it was would be easy for it to detect Waze users traveling on a toll road and adjust accordingly

Add Van (or non compliant) as vehicle type to avoid clean air zones
Waze ability to avoid clean air zones totally falls apart if driving a van that will be charged in a clean air zone. For example Waze will route me through Bradfords clean air zone even though my vehicle has to pay the charge. There is no option to chose a non compliant vehicle so Waze avoids the zone, only private, taxi, motorbike. I just want to simply select avoid clean air zones and then start my journey confidently knowing I will avoid the zones instead of the nightmare it is when following the navigation to see clean air zone…
