    I'm traveling between Canada and the US, and I believe tapping the speed circle to switch miles to km we'll improve the user experience

  3. Speed signs on WME

    a) I usually place comments (in the form of points) next to the track at the exact spot where there is a maximum speed sign, indicating the content of the sign (example: 80km/h). This helps me remember potential speed change points. It would be useful to have a layer that activates a visible icon on the WME map to display these signs, without needing to open the comment box.

    b) It would be wonderful if Waze used A.I. to scan Google Street View and capture all relevant traffic signs, marking them on the map for verification and subsequent handling…

  4. CarPlay speed not padded

    The current speed, when connected to Apple CarPlay takes the speed from the vehicle and pads it by approx 11%.

    Please either show gps speed or car speed provided by vehicle. Padding not required.

  5. Reduce speed ahead alert

    Would be nice to have pop-up similar to railway crossings showing reduce speed ahead. Example would be driving on 70 km per hr route that changes to 50 km per hr.

  6. Speed limit update or entrance

    I know there were problems with people submitting to many cases of speed limits. Such as 50 mph areas. I think it would be a great idea to bring it back but only for 70-75 mph areas! There's a lot of times I'm on the road and expect Waze to have the speed limit and miss the sign and have no idea.. I think this would be a great improvement for the users and there shouldn't be a ton of incidents to check out like used to!

  8. Adding a function to display alternative vehicle speed limits ie van, towing etc

    To be able to display the relevant speed limits on screen for varying vehicles ie a van or towing etc

  9. speed limit manual

    can we have a manual speed limit? I often use a big trailer who is limit to 90km/h on highway versus 130km/h for the cars. so my arrived hour is always very wrong and my route isn't optimized at all.

  10. Show speed limit ahead (e.g. 300 meters ahead) for economic driving

    In order to allow economic driving one should be informed that a changing speed limit will come up long enough to be able to save fuel and save the environment. When there is a hint that you have to lower speed like 300 meters in advance you can just stop pushing gas, so car will just sail.

  11. Add posibility to choose Police Alert with Handheld Camera.

    Hello Waze Team greetings, please add posibility to add an additional feature to notify wazers when there is a police with handheld lazer camera. For example, when the wazer select the icon with police handheld camera it notify the user some km beforehand as follows:

    Alllert ! Police with lazer camera ahead in X kilometres !

  12. drive the speed limit alerts when cutting through a neighborhood

    Waze sends lots of drivers through my neighborhood when traffic is bad. Most drive over the speed limit and will even pass others who are driving the speed limit. Because you have demonstrated that you do not care about my neighborhood, except as a cut-through, please add a voice alert that will sound when people are using waze to cut through neighborhoods reminding people to drive the speed limit.

  13. Seperate speed limit warning for each vehicle type

    Hi Waze team,
    I have used Waze while driving motorcycle. But in my opinion, it would be good if we can separate the speed limit for each vehicle type because the speed limit may be different with cars on some roads. Maybe it's a good development route for supporting another type of vehicle like truck for example

  14. Please let us have the option to show ONLY the speed limit sign.

    Please let us have the option to show ONLY the speed limit sign when using with an Android Auto car or stereo unit. Currently, it shows both or only the speedometer with the speed limit sign too small to see easily. When I first start up and I'm parked on a street that has a speed limit, the sign is nice and big. Once moving though, the speedometer shows up and the limit sign shrinks down to where it's hard to see.

  15. Make the Alert Button and Speed Display floating

    English: Make the Alert Button and Speed Display floating, so the driver can position them on the screen in order to be more visible regardless of the position of the cell phone on the panel.

    Portugues: Fazer o Botão de Alerta e o Mostrador de velocidade flutuantes, assim o motorista pode posiciona-los na tela de forma a ser mais visivel independente da posição do telefone celular no painel.

  16. Conditional speed zone

    Where I am, and I'm sure many others, there are school and park zones that have different speeds for certain hours. It would be nice to have the ability to have speed zones that change according to the times.

  17. Speed Bump Permanent Hazard Notifications Persistence

    The notifications for speed bump style permanent hazards should not stay on screen, once the driver has already driven past it. It does not add any meaningful information to the drive and only acts as a distraction or blocks part of the screen.

  18. speed improving

    Hello!
    We use the product https://www.waze.com and we like it, but noticed,
    the site slows down due to maps and scripts. (link and skrin are added). There are large libraries that greatly slow down page loading (https://embed.waze.com/livemap/assets/vendor-f90e3789d81b39390076.js) Tell me, please, are you planning to improve the project in terms of download speed?
    Let me tell about our good practice with speed up the site. After changing the image format from .png to .webp, the download speed increased. Perhabs, you can use that on you project.

  20. Speed alerts relevant to the vehicle driven

    Hi could you make it possible to have a option to choose a van as a vehicle option? By selecting the vehicle as a car when driving a van makes the speed limit alerts incorrect. Thanks
