WAZE has the information to predict future traffic .

Highlight crowded regions, colour it with red to symbolize there may be traffic jam
Don't change the routes but yes but highlight the traffic jams.
Why no alternate routes because it takes same time to reach the destination then. Slight moving traffic would help us reach early.

Needing multiple people to remove a posted notifier (traffic, police, etc)
The fact that a single person can remove a notifier by saying “it’s no longer there” is a little broken I think the app should need a minimum of 3 users saying the (traffic, debris, accident, police, etc) are no longer there. -ps got a **** ton of ideas first ones free next 50 need a job opportunity

I ride a motorcycle and sometimes I need to use Waze. It would be great if there was an option to "ignore" traffic and do the fastest path.

2 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.

Two Red Light warning are better than one!
One of the most serious offenses in the traffic laws for vehicles is crossing a red light. The big problem of the State of Israel is that the focus is on enforcement and not prevention.
Other cases of crossing a red light are pedestrians looking at cell phones and other distractions that may result in tragedy. The user will receive an explosive message that there is a red light at the traffic light and thus prevent the next accident. Timer display for Traffic Signal (UAE Region)
It would be great help if there are timers that pop up when we are close to traffic signals indicating how much time left for the signal to turn either red or green. This would assist the drivers to make up their minds beforehand either to stop or continue.

let us post traffic, hazards, & police after we have reached our point limit. its about safety not points.
Need to be able to add hazerds, traffic, & police after we reach our point limit. more than once i have posted my limit only to top the hill and their be an accident or a car broke down in the road and i am not able to post it. Alert of traffic jam to avoid colision
Hello,
Trafic jam must be report as a danger. We need that the voice warn us to slow down before.
Right now the only way to avoid colision is to look at the screen of our phone to see if there a trafic jam. On highway it’s realy dangerous.Thanks

please add a tool which changs two one-way segments to one two-way segment (with same traffic data)
In the past, a lot of paths have been drawn with two separate segments.
If we want to unite them, we need a tool to transfer their traffic information to the new segment.

Wazer statistics make posted speed limits obsolete
When driving in fog, darkness or on unfamiliar roads I want a warning from Waze, if my speed is greater than (say) the 90th percentile of the Wazer statistical distribution for my position and driving direction.
I would also like to be alerted if another Wazer near before me drives much slower than I do.
BACKGROUND
Guidelines from location- and real-time data on the speed of Wazers should be more safety-relevant than rigidly posted speed limits, constant over both time and long distances.

when you're on a highway riding fast and there is a traffic jam ahead - waze alert us
its very scray that your riding on speed limit on a highway not knowing that there is traffic jam ahead, waze should alert us before so we could break more easily

I would find it useful to be able to up-date information from other wazer, ie, map showing traffic, but traffic has cleared by time I get t
up-date info from other wazers (traffic has cleared, accident is over, hazard has been removed etc...)

Added icons response vehicle's that transmit to the intelligent traffic system
Add icons for tow trucks and roadside response vehicle that have ability to report to the smart traffic management system. I use the pi-link system that reports to waze and maps, however I show on map as a car on shoulder, not an emergency tow response. I work with odot and multiple law enforcement agencies. The more warning drivers have the more likely I am not going to be another emergency responder hit by another motorist

cut-through traffic on residential streets
Jackson Boulevard in Nashville, TN -- no businesses, churches or schools on this 1 1/2-mile long, residential street. AT THE VERY LEAST, warn Waze clients, when they're redirected through neighborhoods, THAT THEY ARE IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA WITH CHILDREN.

Have you considered incorporating features that allow users to suggest improvements to local governments and cities? For instance, users could report issues like potholes, malfunctioning traffic lights, or poorly synchronized signals directly through the app. Waze could then relay these reports to the relevant authorities responsible for maintaining roads and traffic infrastructure.

School zone camera speed trap Lawtey, Fl. No flashing lights. 20 mph. Can't read times on sign when driving.
Lawtey, Fl. is operating an unethical school zone speed trap at the light on US 301. There are NO flashing lights and the zone times are impossible to read when driving by at the posted speed of 40 mph. Speed limit drops to 20 and is camera enforced. Ticket for $100 arrives 2 weeks later. If Lawtey was truely concerned about student safety, they would install flashing lights. Their primary objective is to defraud unsuspecting drivers and Lawtey has a long history of being a speed trap.
