Show the restaurant log and symbol of the restaurant in the area.

Allow decimal points in House Numbers
Alphabetic characters and slashes are now allowed in House Numbers, which is a huge step forward. Unfortunately, decimal points are still not allowed. This is a problem in Puerto Rico where rural addresses are often based on kilometer posts. A rural address in Puerto Rico might look like "km 17.1 Calle Marginal". Allowing decimal points would be very helpful. Other areas might benefit from other special characters being allowed.

Allow junction boxes to include RoundABout exits to prohibit illegal route suggestion possibility.
This is not about lane control, it is to attempt to prevent in Australia, left/next exits on some Roundabouts when a dedicated exit is missed.
The are RABs that you can not take the first exit on, you had to have taken an exit lane before the RAB.
It would be useful to be able to restrict these particular exit choices when required. A JB would be drawn to cover the area and be allowed to restrict that particular A-B.

Alternate routes options
possibility for drivers to share different routes.
For example.
I work in a high traffic jam / high accident area.
When I bring Waze up.
It only gives me an option for 3 direct routes.
Despite their being back road options or other possibilities.
I would love if there was an option for the driver to submit alternatives.

Update AES location in Toronto
Suggest update all AES location in Grate Toronto Area. There is 50 AES camera set up in GTA area and cause lots of issue. It would be good if Waze able to notify user camera is near by and reduce the speed.

Stop cops from reporting “no longer there”
If a vehicle hasn’t moved for a set time (ie a cop doing a speed trap) don’t let them report “no longer there” or remove the icon. If other wazers are moving on the road, but the one cancelling reports is not, suspend the account. Especially if they are cancelling multiple reports from different wazers in the same area.

Children's game based on the new locations encountered during a drive
A game aimed at children that links the driving experience to the area being driven through. So, for example, I spy puzzles based on nearby landmarks (eg I spy, spelling the name of the neighborhood). Raises children's awareness of the world around us, much like pokemon got people exploring their local neighborhoods on foot. Puzzle ideas can be provided by other wazers/children.

Weather / Sight Seeing Updates - Trip Planning
When planning a trip, we often have to check the weather updates on a separate App. My suggestion is to integrate Waze to the weather apps so that you are able to preview if its safe to travel during our proposed time
Secondly - The are beautiful sites/places enroute that we often aren't aware by allowing users or integrating data from sites like trip advisors etc users will be able to explore and experience during travel- also reduces the risk of road fatigue as it will prompt drivers to stop and rest

Waze Rider - No option to split tolls?
Was doing a research project on Waze Rider. For starters see a few evident loopholes, which could use some improvements.
- Why are the Tolls not being divided between the Rider and the Driver?
- that leads to my other observation, in the NYC metro area crossing from NJ-NYC is predominantly via the downtown Holland and Midtown Lincoln tunnels and uptown GW bridge. Tolls for riders in a car are $16; this significantly drops if you have 3 or more passengers. Location based fare calculation would be more beneficial.2 votesThanks for your feedback. There should be an option to disable alerts for any report type like construction
There should be an option to disable alerts for any report type like construction. In my city, there's construction constantly all summer long. I want to see construction on the map, but I don't want to receive a notification about whether or not construction is still there. That notification replaces the area of the screen that shows the ETA. This forces me to have to clear the notification every time it comes up, and in my city that's every block. This is actually dangerous because it's forcing me to interact with the screen instead of just looking at it. I…

lost item while driving
Lost item while traveling. We recently lost a few rare items out of the back of our truck during a trip down I-70 at night. It would be awesome if we could create a lost item alert in the general area where, if a driver seen it on the side of road they could alert us, or contact us to where it was seen!

Pronunciation of streets in Hawaii is poor.
I work with many clients who visit or live here temporarily from the mainland. They are constantly left in a state of confusion about pronunciation. The rest of us are annoyed by it.

WAZE should allow user to change Traffic Jam status to none
I have driven past & through areas that show traffic slowdowns/jams on WAZE but the traffic is flowing fine. I can find nowhere in WAZE to delete the Traffic Jam problem or change the status to NO slowdown like I can when Hazard or Police is no longer there.

Overlay of power utility loadshedding schedules on top of Waze data
In South Africa we are often subject to power utility loadshedding by the state owned power utility. When this happens, the power to predefined areas is shut off at a predetermined time for a predetermined duration. This affects all traffic lights etc. Although the loadshedding schedules are known in advance, the specific impact on traffic that day in each location cannot be known with certainty. Allow reporting of New Incidents while an Alert is active (Android Auto)
When using Waze on Android Auto, if an active alert (e.g., speed camera, crash, lane closure) is currently displayed on the screen, the button to report a new incident becomes inaccessible or disappears.
To submit a new report, the driver is currently forced to first accept or close the existing alert. This is highly impractical and potentially unsafe while driving.This limitation prevents users from easily reporting multiple, co-located events (like a lane closure and a crash) in densely populated areas where multiple things often happen near each other.

Enable drawing polygon areas Where Closures Cannot Be Applied
Use-case:
There is a bridge under construction where only one direction is open at a time, controlled by traffic lights. Currently, Waze often shows it as closed, even though cars are just waiting for the light to change.
Proposal:
Add a feature in WME to draw a polygon-shaped area where closures cannot be applied — useful for cases like temporary one-lane bridges with traffic lights, where Waze should display a queue instead of a closure.
