Show potential variance in route time
It seems that Waze picks the best route at the time navigation starts.
With all the timing and route information that Waze and Google collects, it should be easy to calculate a good variance for the time of day.
It might be nice if Waze could display a midspread or "middle 50%" time, i.e. the time estimate for 50% of all drivers on that route at that time of day.
So maybe below the estimated arrival of "9:02", it would show "(9:00 - 9:15)"
It'd be even better if it took this into consideration when routing, like preferring a "9:03…

Fix the share my drive feature to remember your most recent share contacts. Also highlight the actual route not the straight line from a->b
Restore the share my drive feature that remembers ego you recently shared your drive with. It used to do this but no longer does.
Also, when sharing a drive it should show the actual route the person is taking (like it does for the driver) and not just a straight line from point a to point b. That isn’t helpful at all when trying to meet up with someone or give them a heads up on a path to avoid. Or being able to search their route if someone were to get lost or not make it to their destination.

Label every street with name and number
display all the streets ..label all the streets with their names and numbers .. when driving a lot of streets are not labeled .. every street should be labeled .

Don't show "Continue Straight" until shortly before it's needed
Showing a continue straight as next turn hundreds of km before it's reached is annoying. I'd like to know what my actual next turn is. While it can be useful in many situations it's not needed until shortly before you reach it.
I suggest only display in app when the first prompt for it is announced.
Example:
In the example, I'm already on I-95 N. I don't need to know that in 76 miles I need to continue on I-95 (it actually started displaying about 200 miles before)

Add client side Reports to live map & ability to edit from pin on live map
Currently when a user submits a report it's not visible on client side live map.
Add display of a pin 📍 designating 'Active Reports' upon creation to client side of route on live map, and allow edits to Active Reports on live map 'pin' press expansion.

Extra Opt-Out Box
I'd like to suggest that the 'my waze' and 'where to' boxes that now automatically sit at the bottom of the screen have a opt-out check box in the display section. As they are most annoying when using Waze without needing or wanting to input a destination.

Unusable in CarPlay in iOS 18 Beta 4 across multiple vehicles
The app constantly crashes during routine guidance, is unresponsive to taps, runs slowly, is jerky, doesn’t keep up with the current location, doesn’t display speed, and routinely stops displaying a map. I have tried multiple vehicles with the same results. It has been bad across all iOS 18 builds but is especially bad on beta 4.

Issues with new update
There are a number of issues with the new Android Waze update. I think it is obvious that the developers use the app on a large screen. The speed limit and current speed are far too small to read while driving. The circle with the speed in it is about 1/2" in diameter on a 7" screen. The speed text and the speed limit are under 1/4" and are very hard to read.
Also, when in full screen display, if one provides a location to navigate to, Waze shows the command in the dialog box, but does nothing. If…

iPhone - Set position of GPS Speed
I am in australia and we drive on right hand side of the car.
This is request for the display when using iPhone CarPlay.
I recently swapped from Samsung to iPhone. On Samsung the GPS Speed is on the right side of the display and easier to quickly see.
But on iPhone the GPS speed is on the left side of the display, which makes it harder to look over to see.Can a setting be provided to set where GPS Speed is locate - left ot right of the display,

Add directional arrows to list of search results
Please add directional arrows to search results. For instance, if I search for McDonalds the results shows me all the McDonalds in the area and how far away each one is. I would like to also know which one is in the direction I am headed so I don't go out of my way to what happens to be the closest.

To posibility to see arriving time to final destination instead of waypoint
Many times I add waypoint to get route which I prefer. Most of time I'm not interested when I arrive to waypoint but when I arrive to final destination. Sometimes arriving time to waypoint is important so I think it should be easily chosen on display (also in android auto).

Display petrol stations with distinctive colour on the map and make it visible as on option, like POI
It is good to see petrol stations all the time in current view. That feature is very useful in standard navigation built-in card software, that like POI feature. It is often when I pass

Please please please - add destination to map page
I can't tell you how many times I or friends have punched in a destination and started driving to the wrong location....because of inadvertently selected the wrong location or a location was typed in incorrectly. It would be sooooo helpful if the destination location were prominently displayed on the map display page. Maybe there's some setting or preference that I'm missing... and if there is, please let me know... but if there isn't, please implement this change that seems like a complete no-brainer.

Instructions panel on Android Car mode
When you are on navigation from your car (Android Car connexion), the panel for display instructions hide left part of the map. It's possible add an option for set transparancy ?

For volkswagen smaller sreens with proximity sensors
It would be possible to add an option to hide the bottom bar where the most used apps are located so that the display has a larger area of visualization in the waze navigation. The media display has proximity sensors that hide everything on the display so that the factory-installed navigation shows the navigation in full screen.

Please dont hide "report" icon when map is moved from current position.
When i
m driving and want to report something, i sometimes touch ipad display near the button, which triggers map shifting from "gps position" and report button disappears, while im clicking on left button to bring back waze to my position, i`m driving away from the point i wanted to report. That's really annoying. Please dont hide report icon at all (always report at current gps position or make option to change such behaviour )2 votes -
Some Screen Elements Not Readable
put a background border around time and other info icons near top of display. These are difficult to see/read when driving in cities because street names are also white font and the time becomes obfuscated on the display.

I have been using your product far before "the Google times." When I first downloaded Waze, the road to my home was not "Wazed-paved" yet, so I had to pave it myself :). Anyway, that's not what I'm writing you about. I want to extend a request to you through a few user stories, which would significantly enhance my electromobility driving experience. Live Map not displaying correctly
The water outlines are not displaying correctly between the 'Live Map' and the 'Edit Map' pages. Can the Live map be corrected please.
