When using Waze on an Ipad Air 4th gen (or other devices) in splitscreen with another app like Spotify the map doesn’t center itself with the new screen size. It stays oriented to the right and you can barely see the car, would be great if it could adapt to the new screen size while multitasking!

HAve a better support... And please, solve the problem of the autolock of the screen on Iphone !!!
I want to use Wase on my motorcycle but when the Iphone is under a plastic cover (for the protection) the autolock shut down the screen. The switch on/off which seems to be for that, doen't work. It' not a new problem and we don't have it with google map or plan. Thanks

Right hand drive vehicles
The current set up on CarPlay is set up for left hand drive vehicles, here in the uk using the report functions is difficult, and also it looks odd that the directions are on the right side of the screen and the map is on the left, it’s difficult to see, please add an option to mirror everything for RHD vehicles, thank you :)

Can't get to Vastec, 5 lock lane cv34 5ag uk from Lower Cape road. Need to use lock lane, off millers rd.

Saved places on web interface or import
It would be great to have a way to add/edit saved places from the web interface or to have some form of importing them.
In case you have to add/edit more places, it’s easier with an actual keyboard and a big screen instead of the phone screen.6 votes -

Whist driving, due to a variety of reasons, it's not always possible to log a hazzard on the road, like a tie-down strap that fell off a truck in front of me today. I thought I could simply report the issue, but I lost my connection and instead pushed on the screen where the tie-down strap was, hoping there was an additional option, so once it was safe to pull over,, I would be able to log it, so as of when I re-established Internet connection, the hazzard would be shared with other waze'ers.
But alas there was no feature,…

Why leave the black color.
This hides the space map. Especially when the machine is horizontal.To select right or left enough a small section of the screen.
Or at least be faster so you can see the map in the background.
Signage-display green as in roads and other applications probably not allowed to do. You will find something similar.In addition, a quick view. There is more speed.

Allow swipe to close notifications.
When a notification appears on the Waze client, there's an "X" on the top-right corner to close it. The close button also has an auto-timer, which is fine.
However, while driving it is hard to tap the exact location of the "X" and often i tap on another nearby portion of the screen, which only causes the display to change. And waiting for the timer is not always practical (i only need 3-5 seconds to read a notification, not up to 15 seconds!).
So instead (or additionally)... why not have the notifications close by simply swiping them off the …

Using voice commands to report on issues on the road
Would it be possible to report on traffic jams and other road dangers etc. via voice command instead of having to tap them on the screen? A voice command can be made much faster and is less distracting than the current way where you have look what to enter on the phone screen.

Zoom level resets after waze shows alerts while stopped
If I'm driving and set my zoom at a certain level and stop, waze shows nearby alerts... great! But when I drive again my zoom level is not what I've set it at. Also, please make the app show the alert on the side of the screen and put the pinpointed alert on the other side while in landscape mode. Sometimes an alert is useless without seeing it and currently the warning covers the map!

Fix Night mode
Samsung Note 3 on Verizon wireless. Android Ver 5.0. When in night mode with heading up, the screen flashes white during redraws which is incredibly distracting. Black would be much better.

Police and Accident indicator easy access for Car Play
For Car Play, instead of digging through the menu for the police or accident indicator (unsafe/distracting), based on screen size (or configurable), need those buttons on main screen instead. These are the 2 best features, and will make it easier for users to report with little overhead and improve Waze as a tool.

Bring back the old speedometer position (bottom left corner)
With the latest update, the speedometer on the mobile app has moved from the bottom left corner to the center of the bottom edge of the screen. This new position is distracting and interferes with map visibility, especially when checking upcoming turns or traffic info.
The previous placement in the bottom left corner was much more intuitive and out of the way. Please consider giving users the option to choose the speedometer position, or revert it back to where it was.

Android Auto Coolwalk View Tile
I was happy to see that Waze could now do split screen on Android Auto. My only feedback so far is if you are using Waze for navigation the "next step" at the top and the estimated ETA at the bottom take up a big portion of the screen. The next step at the top covers the up coming route. On the full screen you are still able to see the route ahead and any upcoming issues. When using the split screen view in Coolwalk before setting a destination the top right quarter of my screen defaulted to quick…

Make the top choice on the main 'Drive To' screen be your last chosen location.
Whether it's because I cancelled navigation or, much more likely, the server erred out when routing, I constantly need to choose the same location as the last one I chose. If it was three or four pages down on my 'Saved Locations' page this can be quite a hassle—and a bit dangerous—to do while driving.
I'd propose that when you press the 'Drive To' button the top choice on the list is whatever the last location chosen was until that destination is reached.
