Show Waze result when searching full road name
Currently if you search the full road suffix instead of the abbreviated one (e.g. Street instead of St, or Road instead of Rd) it will only show Google results and not Waze ones since the roads names are abbreviated when mapped. This can lead to the Wazer not finding roads if they are not mapped in Google Maps or being routed poorly.
Waze should instead recognise the full name of an abbreviated name and continue to show Waze results.

NUEVAS FUNCIONES ESENCIALES WAZE
1 - poder elegir varias rutas para llegar al destino (como en google maps)
2 - poder modificar la ruta (como en google maps)
3 - poder hacer distintas paradas en una misma ruta.
4 - Poder guardar las rutas.

privilégier les routes sures
j'ai utilisé votre application pendant un mois en Italie
même si les trajets sont exacts les routes que vous nous faites emprunter sont pour le mois dangereuses et ne sont absolument pas recommandables
cela vient du fait que votre application cherche la route la plus courte en temps mais non pas la route la plus sure même si elle nécessite le faire quelques km de plus
j'ai fait l'expérience similaire avec google maps et c'est exactement les mêmes résultats tout aussi dangereux7 votes -

Add Electric to the Preferred fuel type, which will then display electric charging points on the map.
There is no current option in Preferred fuel type for pure Electric. I would like to have this option, which, when selected, displays electric charging points as POIs for my journeys.

Show directions in vehicle Dashboard
Recently Google Maps had an update so the turn to turn directions and are now shown in Ford Sync 4 vehicle dashboard. Apple Maps also has this feature for years. Can Waze also bring this functionality helping to see in the dash or head up display so we can keep more focused on the road? It would be fantastic if Waze can be on the same level as other navigation apps.

Better AI-voice quality
I can just speak for the German voices, but compared to other navigation apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps or TomTom Go, the German AI-voice is really bad and low quality. AI-voices have become so great in the last years that I'm surprised that you're not offering more AI-voices with better quality. This actually might be a reason for me to switch to TomTom Go.

Road closures
Please update your maps when roads are closed during long term construction… seems Google maps have this feature.. may start using it instead as this seems to be an ongoing issue that Waze has failed to address

Weather Icons instead of Hazard Icons on Map
Weather reports show up as Hazard icons. While it does say what the weather condition is below, it is not easy to read if you are driving in bad weather. It would be nice to see weather icons reported by other Waze users.

map rotation
I noticed, when you make a turn, the map does not rotate with the turn, can this be fixed in the next update?

Map Colour Choices
The current WHITE or GREY map colour choices are awful and ******* the eyes. Having a nice beige or light green colour for landscape would greatly improve Waze, especially if the roads were white. But other users may prefer other colours, so I good range of map colours would be very beneficial.

Messages are read aloud whilst driving
In Google maps whilst it is in Auto mode, it will read aloud any incoming messages (if turned on), so that I am informed of things without having to check them whilst driving, which is not allowed.

Just thought a 'history' button would be helpful on the web site live map. If you could go back in time a few hours or days...
History button on Live map on webpage and maybe even in the app eventually. Also, maybe "ghost" on maps where frequent events happen. Say a police trap that happens a lot in a general area.

Electrical Map in Puerto Rico will attract millions users
Adding and Electrical Map, will give Waze a millions of users!
Since Hurricane Maria, hundreds of roads and bridges where destroyed, signs that does not exist anymore, and roads with a mile of holes. Lately it is so dificult to drive on some roads. Specially those without electricuty jet, 7 month later of hurricane Maria.
Letting people tag place without electricity, not only give the driver the alert, but will atract a thousand, even million ppl in the island, to repport their house or street.
Also with a so worldwide use app, will make pressure on local agencies to accelerate…7 votes -
Update map
Hello,
I’m reporting this here as I do not use Waze (I don’t drive) and there is no other option available. I’ve experience so many issues with Uber and Lyft drivers using Waze for pick up at Century Plaza Towers in Los Angeles (2029 Century Park east, la, ca, 90067). The cross street (Century Park east and constellation) is blocked due to construction and has been for over a year now. Can you please update your maps to reflect this so drivers don’t continue to take this street and waste time.

Improve finding of places/business to drive to
Currently, when searching for a business or place to drive to, it often does not find the business. Or, it shows a list of businesses with the same name but no address or city. For example, if I search for "Kaiser" it shows a bunch of Kaiser Hospital names with no address or city. And it doesn't at all show the one that is closest to me. So, I don't know which one is closer. I end up often having to use google maps and navigation to find places and get routed there. Need to allow us an easy way…

North Up only in 2D
When the Map is set to Auto (2D and 3D) with North Up preference set, please only show the 2D map in North Up. As a 3D map also being North Up doesn't make sense since it hides almost all upcoming map content unless driving due north (car traveling sideways to map view). North Up is only useful in 2D maps.
