2. Mandorections "This is the way"- A Star Wars theme for Waze!

   A feature that takes popular transportation scenario quotes from the Star Wars Franchise that voices over the "starting route to" phrase. This add on is relevant due to the huge fan support of the new Disney Mandalorian show. This would engage users and would be a fun, nostalgic way to get to your destination.

4. Privacy zone: stop reporting *near* home/work‏

   Having read the Waze ideology of location reporting at journey endpoints with respect to privacy I have deemed it wanting greatly.

   Please consider a feature to allow one to create flexible (arbitrarily variable) zones around one's home, workplace, church, etc, where upon entering one's position is no longer publicly visible.

   I am confident a variation of this will mitigate privacy journey endpoint concerns

   Can you add a trip summary button to show how long trip took. I enjoy that feature on my regular gps so I can see how long it took each day to get home from work for example.

8. Avoid a specific road

   I've seen a number of posts regarding this, and myself have wanted this on various occasions for a number of different reasons. The alternatives (avoid highway, avoid toll, avoid dirt) are useful in many cases, but there are also many cases where they simply don't serve the actual need.

   For example, this reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/waze/comments/6vfd6m/can_i_stop_waze_from_rerouting_or_select_a/) is from a user that wants to specifically avoid the Capital Beltway (I-495). Not because it's a highway, and not because of a perceived inability for Waze to determine traffic, but just as a personal preference. As another example, sometimes when driving through D.C. or Baltimore, I find myself wanting to avoid certain local roads at night time, specifically ones where the street lights are not working. There are many personal preference reasons one might have to want to avoid a specific road! And hearing things like "you can use this other option" is usually not helpful, because the asker of the question has already explored the menu and found those options!

   There are a couple ways this could be presented to the user. In the settings menu, I could see a list of roads you want to avoid, and a button to add a road, which takes you to the map, possible with a search option. Maybe when navigating the map normally, one of the things a long-press gets you is the ability to mark a road to avoid. Maybe when you are presented with a list of directions, you can swipe away a turn to indicate you don't want to go onto that road, and you're then asked "this trip only / this and all future trips?"

   This is getting long-winded. It suffices to say I've thought about this a lot and would like to see this feature. Thanks for reading.

9. Police on the move and what side

   Police on the move: I would put an option on the police spotter that shows moving/same side or moving/other side of the road. The app can see what direction/side the motorist is on, it would be a simple change to show that the police are moving on your side or other.

13. Speed limit

    Please allow us to remove the digital speedometer, and instead show a much larger speed limit for the road! The current speed limit sign is very small on some displays, and since every car already has a speedometer, I would like the option to remove it from the app and just show a large icon for speed limit only

14. Tammy Dombeck - The Gridlock Buster

    I am nominating my beautiful bride Tammy Dombeck to be one of your voices. Tammy was the Traffic reporter on the NBC affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth for 14 years. After she left, she spent 3 years at the CBS affiliate as their morning and afternoon traffic reporter. We live in Fort Worth and I commute to Dallas during the week so I have been using yoru app for a couple of years. Love it. What I do miss is seeing and hearing Tammy give her traffic reports. I also am guessing that there are thousands and thousands of people here in North Texas that use your app that would love to hear Tammy's voice give us directions and brighten our day. I know you don't know Tammy but just google her name and you will see what she is all about. I would love to hear her voice on my Waze App so maybe I am being selfish, but I love what she does and how she can bring a smile to all of us who know Tammy Dombeck. Tammy has a huge social media following and can spread the word about Waze to grow your audience here in Dallas Fort Worth. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

15. Display address you're navigating to when you get near your destination

    Often times I get close to my destination and I don't remember the exact house number I'm looking for. It would be nice if when Waze prompts that you're nearing your destination, that it would display the address you put in to navigate to so you can look for the house number as you get close to your destination.

16. choose my custom route!

    Have you ever thought that the driver does every day the same way to go to work or home, so he already has his favorite ways? Have you ever thought about leaving the driver predefine these paths and when to consult the routes have a new area for "Custom Routes" and showing the conditions of transit and time for those 3 chosen paths? I would feel more comfortable in knowing how long it would take if I had chosen that MY way specifically. Thanks!

18. Bicycle navigation and bike routes for waze!!! Please!!

    Can you please add bicycle routes to the app and ways to avoid roads that go over a certain speed limit? The option to set your vehicle as a bicycle and find routes like that avoid high speed roads and roads that dont allow bikes conbined with all of the other great functions of the app will be fantastic...

    But since you don't have the feature so many bicyclists won't get to navigate with your app and get the same benefits that car drivers have... I really need a navigator for bikers that shows the speed limits of the roads and if they have biking lanes before you make the trip to plan your navigation.

    You should have the setting to make your vehile a bike and find bike routes, and to calculate how much time a trip will take you just have to ask the bicyclist to input their average biking speed and make your route estimates like that. Then through tracking their speed when you give them navigates your estimates can become even more accurate.

    It shouldn't just be for driving navigation but also for people who have to bike places and still need to find the fastest routes avoiding cops and traffic and all the other benefits that drivers have and bikers don't because the app can't calculate routes for us unless you please make an update taking my suggestions!!

    I'd like a report button that would indicate lane closures.

    Could press to report the beginning of the lane closure, then press again to report the end.

    Then you indicate whether it's the left, right, or center lane.

    As a fan of classic sitcoms, "The Golden Girls" is one of my favorites. I think it would be awesone to have Dorothy Zbornak (Bea Arthur), Blanche Devereaux (Rue McClanahan), Rose Nylund (Betty White) and Sophia Petrillo (Estelle Getty) as navigaton voice options.
