Replace current maps in all cars with Waze
The maps in all cars, except Tesla, are outdated, complex to upgrade and usually out of sync with the real world like construction, detours etc. Waze should replace those maps by default and get rid of the archaic ways of the old regime. Same with Sirius XM being the default. Replace with Spotify. Time to bring new cars up to date with modern technology.

Ability to add obstructions offline
Wish there was a way to add (eg, road closures) offline - currently it seems the only way to do it is to actually drive there until the triangle button appears on the screen. Trying to warn everyone as a closed road is currently showing as roadworks/closed lane.

Add U-Turn and other likely police trap locations to highway maps. This would be especially useful when traveling rural highways late at night. this information is easily available for each interstate, but I don't know how to layer it onto Waze maps as I drive on these roads.

Make Waze a perfect navigation system
It definitely needs lane guidance (even google maps which technically is not a navigation system has lane guidance)
When you search for POI it should tell you how far (distance and time) off rout the POI is from your rout. (again google maps does that.)
Wase has problem with long distance. I travel a lot from Somerset NJ to Toronto Canada, and always have to wait at least half an hour for Wase to start working aside from several times crashing and not being able to do anything with phone because it crashes. This might be due to large amount…

Improvement needed
I was checking out waze and I was really impressed... I felt like the waze experience was incomplete without a proper feedback. Hence I decided to give you guys a few suggestions on it: 1) Pls include downloading of maps of a certain area or preferably offline caching of Entire maps. 2) I noticed that initially the direction of the heading was wrong 4 out of 5 times, thus why not included an optional magnetic correction as it will definitely remove this error.

Offline notification timeout
Can the offline notification message timeout automatically, please? It obscures way too much of the screen essentially stopping functionality of the app, and it won't go away automatically when network connection is resumed.
Using my phone on my motorcycle I cannot reliably touch the screen with gloves on to acknowledge the message. So after a however brief cell signal dead zone I get no useful navigation until I pull over, stop, take my gloves off, and press the ok button. Even an hour later this message stays blocking the screen despite point having lost signal only momentarily.

Car Play Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze Turn By Turn Dirrections Appearing On Instrument Cluster
Please allow users to enable and disable turn-by-turn directions in the instrument cluster. I don’t want to see it on my instrument cluster when I already have it on my navigation screen. Turn-by-turn directions on the instrument cluster were only available before on Apple Maps, recently Google Maps added it without any mention in the app update notes and no option in the settings to turn it off. I’m glad it’s not yet available on Waze because users can not turn off this feature in vehicle settings CarPlay settings, phone settings not even steering wheel settings! The only way…

Add Google Maps Settings to Waze Car Play app
Please add settings to the CarPlay Waze app navigation screen as seen on the Google Maps screen.
I lost all sound on Waze which Waze support could not resolve.

Editing maps
You need to allow all users to edit maps with speed cameras and the like. Sure if you want to maintain a basemap that your power tripping editors want to keep, fine. But I should be allowed to overlay speed cameras and the like if there is a disagreement by how a local editor deems them necessary or not. You don't want to add it to the basemap? Fine. But I should be allowed to add it to a map that I use or share with my family and friends.

Show if a result search is Waze place or Google Maps place
Show if a result search is Waze place or Google Maps place. Sometimes we search a place and shows first the google maps result and in the end of the list the Waze place result. Maybe a G and the Waze symbol instead the pin on results list would be better to know what is what.
