We visited Miami and were directed by the Waze app to use the I-95 Express Lane.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the required subscription so we were issued a $28 ticket.

Color code car icon by distance
When Waze zooms in & out, the car icon stays the same size. Why not color code the car icon, green for when you are far away, yellow when you are close & need to change lanes for a turn/exit, red when you are within a quarter mile.

waze for motorcycle
There should be an option on waze to use motorcycle or even bikes.
I like to use waze but when I'm riding a moto it shows alternative ways to avoid traffic. The problem is that when riding moto I don't get stuck in traffic.
And if I use waze when riding I'm afraid to trick the system and send informations that there is no traffic on the road when actually there is.21 votesThank you for your suggestion! Add a warning at the beginning of a route, if there's an area we should avoid.
Every day I use Waze to drive to work. I could take either one of two basic routes. Waze usually says "let's take..." and then tells me which route to take. That helps me know which way to turn when I pull out of my driveway, but often Waze tries to make me go around the block before I can actually get started. Consequently, every morning there is confusion about what Waze is really trying to tell me. Miscellaneous Suggestions - Reporting Items Not There and Hazards
I would suggest having the ability to select reports and mark them as not there. For instance, oncoming traffic reports of speed traps or traffic that have since cleared up but not timed out.
Also reporting a road hazard of disabled vehicle on the road. Currently there's vehicle on shoulder and you can report an accident on the road. We should be able to note a disabled vehicle blocking one lane.
Lastly there should be the ability to note in an accident if it's affecting both sides (when EMS responds from both directions and closes lanes), when the road…

Tollsmart is an app that allows you to choose which bridge you want to go through and plan your trip to pay less toll. It would be awesome if this app joined with Tollsmart to give users the same benefits <3

Customized Price/Time rate for routes calculation
Now Waze always propose an option of routes without toll which is good, but not enough for me
Indeed, very often there is a compromise between full toll and no toll being relevant and worthy (cheaper than full toll, faster than no toll)To improce the relevency of the routes proposal an adjustable ratio price/time should be considered
For exemple, for a ratio 1€/min, a toll road at 16€ for 20 min gain will be proposed but not another at 12€ for 10min gain compared to no toll option

Car stopped ON road ie: transport unloading new cars
In Ontario we have frequent stopped vehicles in the centre turning lanes of roadways. They stop to unload new vehicles for car dealerships. Would like an option to report car/vehicle stopped ON the roadway, separate from the “car on shoulder” option

Signal deviation from "normal" work-home route
So I am using Waze mostly for avoiding traffic going to and from work, I suppose like most people. It would be helpful to have a feature where it gives an audible alert if it is plotting a course that is different from the "normal" one to avoid traffic. I imagine this could work by determining the best route assuming no significant traffic, and giving an alert if it is plotting a different course than that. Same thing goes for changes in mid-course due to accidents, jams, etc., that occur after I start. Normal navigation announcements aren't too useful…

Allow the user to define an event such as playing one of your own sounds, display one of your own photos or play a music track at or near specific places. Example uses - get onto a fast stretch of road and your music changes, and changes back when you get into town again. Get a mile from a toll booth and a note appears telling you how much money to have ready. Drive near a grocer and your recording says "don't forget to get the eggs". Gives the option to cancel a Waze direction change order and recalculate
When we are on a path of two parallel lanes in the same direction, and you being on the track 01 the Waze commands you to go to the track 02, if you stay on track 01 the Waze understands that you went to the track 2 (perhaps by proximity of two lanes).
The problem here is that the Waze calculates the speed of the track 02 taking your car as reference, however it is on the track 01. Thus the track 01 would be the best option, but for this error that indicates that you (and others that…

Using streetview to show actual turns on screen
I would like to use streetview pictures at junctions and exits so waze can show the actual situation on screen and highlight the lanes that people need to be in to follow the designated route.
Arrows can be put as an overlay on the streetview picture to properly prepare people for what is coming.

Switching between motor profile and car mode
Now the motorcycle mode is available, multiple cyclists report the need of quick switching between motor and car mode to avoid driving in the wrong mode. Suggestion: once the motor mode has been active, startup the client with a message "What will you be driving this trip?" Defaulting to the last mode used and giving alternatives "Motor, Car" and checkbox (forget I'm a motorbiker)

Stop routing traffic inappropriately
I am contacting everyone at Waze right now. Waze is causing problems.
Highway 17 from San Jose to Santa Cruz is notorious for its beach traffic. Waze directing traffic thought downtown Los Gatos and on to mountain side roads to avoid this.
STOP DOING THIS!
First of all this is causing horrendous gridlock in downtown Los Gatos. The town has put up signs telling Beach Traffic to stick to Highway 17. Drivers are ignoring this because Waze gives tells them they can cut thru Los Gatos. This is causing MASSIVE problems.

Warning message "Alert sent successfully"
A user made the error alert 4 times and claimed that the app did not give you the return that the alert had been created.
This is a suggestion for improving the app. Should help avoid duplicate UR (or quadruplicate lol).6 votes -
Avoiding Traffic notification
Can you add a notification sound or announcement letting drivers know when Waze is avoiding traffic or hazards?
The reason is that sometimes Waze will prompt you to take a route that seems to make no sense, and I'm tempted to say no. If Waze would just say something like "Take the next exit, avoiding traffic," it would be much easier to understand why.

Waze Light for Android 8 low ram Express Bootup
im using Sygav auto android touchscreen stereo that has Android versiuon 8 that can't be updated to version 9 nor version 13.
