Mojio OBD cellular GPS
There is a new device called Mojio www.moj.io on the market. It's an obd reader with a GPS and a cellular module. They have an SKD and API and I think it could be cool to include this in waze. Few things it could do with waze.
For trip that you forget to open waze it could automaticly use the mojio gps and this way get trafic information for others.
You could always know where your car is parked in waze.
Waze could notify you after a trip if you forget to lock doors.

When i zoom out to half Europe, Waze shows who-knows-what cities, but no capital cities.
When i zoom out to see half of Europe (from northern Italy to the middle of Finland), Waze shows who-knows-what cities, but no capital cities. At least not on iPad in the night mode. No Warsaw, no Helsinki, no Tallinn, no Riga, no Berlin... Please show capitals at least, not villages...

Which Side of the Road
It would be nice if on our drive at with .5 miles or .2 miles you would notify us which side of the road the business (address) is on. We have many 2/3 and 4 lane roads and we can't get in the proper lane for the turn if we don't know which side of the road the address is on.

Using voice commands to report on issues on the road
Would it be possible to report on traffic jams and other road dangers etc. via voice command instead of having to tap them on the screen? A voice command can be made much faster and is less distracting than the current way where you have look what to enter on the phone screen.

Add alert capability to post for Police to include those that are 'rolling' and in which direction . . .
When posting an alert where Police are involved, there isn't an option to note whether they are moving in traffic and if they are rolling with you or in the opposite direction. I feel that would/should be a natural choice to be able to make while reporting, to benefit other 'Wazers' operating near you. That's what it's for, right?

Car Info Button
It's been over a year since you said "not now" so is a year (almost 2 years) long enough? "Car Info" button should be under the settings menu not on the main screen. Please allow us to remove the option while driving. How many people really change what they're driving that often to keep that on the main screen? It really should be under settings.

Get the word out where they don't know
Sponsor roadside litter cleanup and get the Waze word out in the Midwest! It costs $300-600 per sign per year. I can imagine a string of Barbersol like ads. I drove from Ann Arbor to Seattle with little support and kept seeing signs available..,

Change Road Hazard
Under road hazard / side of road. Remove missing sign. Add Tractor/Trailer. If I am new to a area I really wouldn't know what sign is missing and if I am from the area I probably wouldn't notice it missing. We see more cars on the side of the road but the big rigs are bigger and more likely to be hanging out in traffic,

In Brazil why in the waze, the highways have no speed limit, tax to use de road and values?
I´m a brazilian user of wase, some things i observe:
1- Why waze doesn't show speed limit road like the car speed?
2- Why toll location in the map don't have (local do pedágio)?
3- Why don't allow include/change the prices for use the road (toll price)?

Taxi meter
I would be happy if you can integrate in your application one ficher of a taxi meter. You have the date time and distance only thing you need to add is the beginning of the meter by the country and Day & Night. I use taxis a lot, and I would love to know what the price of the trip before I go in a taxi, especially abroad.

1 retornem o aviso para pistas opostas pois é muito útil ajuda a evitar acidentes
2 incluir botão para informe de velocidade da via(a maioria das informadas contem erros)
3 aviso de quando a velocidade e excedida( hoje tenho que usar o Mapa Radar em conjunto com o Waze ou o gps)
4 registro off line de radares acidentes e eventos pois nosso sinal de celular é muito falho e muitas vezes não recebemos avisos importantes.

Sound Navigation
One of my favorite things about Maps is when I'm in route to my destination and I want to here what my next step in my direction is that I can tap the screen and here the lady tell me what to expect next whether I'm .2 miles away, 1 mile away or 5 miles away from my next turn. Personalized routes
Would be nice to be able to select which routes are more preferable in terms of time/length/convenience. Example: prefer long route vs traffic jam, or faster route vs shortest, or hard faster route vs nice longer road.
Basically allow to choose what's more important - time, money (gas), complexity (novice drivers prefer less crowded roads), maybe even "nice view" coefficient, and adjust the way Waze calculates the route for the individual.6 votes -
have client generate text file of all unallowed moves while driving to view on computer
I know the system technically does this automatically but I was thinking today as I was going through the cartouche fixing every intersection in my hometown, how it'd be handy if the client generated a text file showing all the things you did that you "shouldn't" have. Almost every intersection in my area has restricted turns that simply don't exist (it's a small town, there's only one turn restriction and no one ways, so i realize this is easier than most) but I was thinking it'd be handy if I could open a txt file generated by the client that…

sound for instructions very choppy
The sound on my saying galaxy s2 is very, very choppy. I hear about 1 of every 3 or 4 words. My roommate's phone, same type, has the same problem. This makes it difficult to actually use the app.

Keep Spotify pause button when approaching destination
In the current integration between Waze and Spotify, when you get close to your destination (about .3 miles away), Waze closes the Spotify integration at the top and replaces it with information about your destination. This keeps your music playing. As someone who makes frequent stops late at night to different houses (pizza delivery), I like to turn off my music temporarily while I focus on looking for house numbers. I currently have to swipe up and pause Spotify from my Iphone quick settings menu.
It would be much appreciated if you could keep even just the pause music button…

Let's do something with Waze points!

I wanted to ask what the plan is for the Waze points we're all collecting. I can't even seem to find what my current total points are.
Here's some suggestions:Create a Dashboard view for each user showing:
○ Total points from reports.
○ Total points from confirmations.
○ Total points overall.
○ Total for each report/confirmation type.
○ Total number of confirmations your reports have received.
○ Total # of states you've reported from.
Offer Waze swag as rewards for point levels reached like t-shirts, hats, window clings, travel mugs all featuring the Waze logo.
