Add Multitouch Support for Waze on CarPlay (iOS 26)
Starting with iOS 26, Apple officially added multitouch support for CarPlay apps (confirmed on Apple’s developer website).
However, Waze still doesn’t support multitouch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom — which makes map navigation less intuitive and even unsafe while driving.Currently, zooming in or out requires multiple taps, forcing drivers to take their eyes off the road.
This is not only inconvenient but also reduces overall safety.It’s especially surprising because:
On Android Auto, Google Maps already supports multitouch, and it works great — smooth, natural, and safe.

Option at drive later to enter your starting time
Install an option where you can see at drive later, not only when you should start, but when you know when you can start, how long the trip will take, like in google maps ;)

If i turn and Waze then Google maps, will Waze continue to run in the backround?
the intersate road conditons are shown in purple, if they're are not any issues why cant green be used and use red for on coming slow downs are road issues like heavy traffic

Get the next turn announcement in distance instead of time
Coming from Google Maps, it is frustrating hearing the next turn, announcement in time, I can't even figure out how far am I from that

Deaf Friendly Verification
I've been trying to register on Waze and the verification codes are not coming in via SMS. It appears the other option is a phone call to me to give a code. If this is an automated call, this would not work for me since I am deaf so if there was another way such as a live chat or email, that would be great.

Messages are read aloud whilst driving
In Google maps whilst it is in Auto mode, it will read aloud any incoming messages (if turned on), so that I am informed of things without having to check them whilst driving, which is not allowed.

Tout d'abord, c'est dommage qu'on est pas un indicateur qui donne la qualité de retour sur la route empruntée. En effet, on ne sait pas s'il y a 1 ou 100 personnes devant nous. Un petit indicateur indiquant le nombre de personnes sur la même route que nous serait pratique.Ensuite, les péages sont pris en compte lors du trajet. Il serait intéressant de les noter sur la map, mais aussi mettre leurs prix. Soit il y a une base de données ouvertes, soit ,comme pour les prix des pompes à essences, on utilise les utilisateurs. Better voice search in CarPlay mode and categories like Gas, Food, etc so you don’t have to take your eyes off the road and use the phone. I find myself having to close the Waze app in CarPlay and open up Apple maps just to find a place for a new route because typing in destinations in the Waze CarPlay mode doesn’t bring up closely relevant destinations, and voice search just brings up a map with no way to select anything. Show all addresses for contacts or use default
I have multiple addresses for many of my Google contacts, but it seems that only the last address for each contact is synced with Waze. It would be nice if all addresses would be synced, or, if only one can be synced, it would be the one marked as default in Google Contacts, not the last.
