Receive alerts even when Waze isn’t in the foreground of Apple CarPlay
I use Apple CarPlay and I may not always have Waze in the foreground. I find that I don’t always receive speed camera alerts unless I am speeding.
It would be excellent to receive audible alerts of speed cameras, or other speed trap or police related alerts, no matter what app is running in the foreground.

During radar warning speed limit is not visible
During radar warning the "current speedlimit" is shifted above and disappears under the "next direction change information". Then you can not see the speed you are actually driving during the speed control, this please needs improvement.

Adding link to OBD2 Bluetooth transmitter which provides speed data info. Combing this with a gyroscope allow navigation in tunnels.

Bring back speed limit option. It was very handy now it's gone. Also I'd like more celebrity voices more often.

This suggestion aims to enhance road safety and improve the accuracy of Waze navigation by implementing a feature that displays temporary speed limits in real-time. These are the limits indicated by the yellow or orange signs on portable stands often found in road repair and construction zones.
Currently, Waze primarily relies on static, permanent speed limits for a given road segment. Speed bump notification not working well
I am using Waze for navigation and speed bumbs notifications not appeard on my screen while navigating while it is working well with other users using the same route and at the same time, I suggest to solve this issue if other users face the same issue, and I suggest to make the speed bumbs notifications works even if I use the same way multiple times in the day.

Speed trap vs police monitoring construction area.
I would like for a way to distinguish between police out for a speed trap and those that are out monitoring a construction zone. Many times people list police out but they are blocking a freeway exit or something else and aren't trying to hand out speeding tickets

What happened to the ability to report an incorrect speed limit?
Up until the last update, we could report an incorrect speed limit under Map Issues. Now there are lots of other, new issues we can report on, but the speed limit is no longer one of them.

Enable users in Uganda to map out the new speed limits on the roads and get alerts when they are driving above the speed limit
New speed limits have been implemented in Uganda alongside electronic speed ticketing. There are little to no speed limit signs so this would help people monitor and adhere to speed limits during a commute.
The feature required is the ability to map the speed limits so we can crowd source the information

Make the speed limit bigger and permanently visible on screen. I don’t like having to make it appear by driving a little faster
Can you make the speed limit stay on permanently. And bigger. It’s too small and takes a number of seconds (eyes off road seconds) to glance down looking for it. When unsure of the speed limit in areas where it changes a lot then the only way to make it appear is to drive faster and look for what point it flashes up. This is not safe. I would love it to just be there all of the time.

Additional Data from Previous Trips
It would be helpful to access average speed and top speed data for past trips, with timestamps.

Set by default speed limit for all country and city/town/metro area, for each segment
adding automatically speed limits for each segment in all metro zones/cities/towns and all over the country,
this limits can be approved and coordinated with all community managers.
and if in one city is a segment with a different speed limit, any local editors change speed limits value

I would like the app to display speed limits as I drive.
I would like the map navigation to display the speed limit as I drive.
Warning sounds if I exceed limits.
Also the ability to customize how much over the speed limit the warning should sound.

Opening Music Controls in Landscape obscures the speed limit and speedometer
When using the app in landscape, opening the Music Controls will open on the left hand side, which then obscures the Speed Limit indicator and some of the speedometer.
It would be much better if it moved the speed limit to be down next to the speedometer, and didn't obscure either. Or, even better, if it moved the speed limit and the speedometer to the upper right corner!
Or better still, let us choose where to put these UI elements so we can improve information density and readability! As a motorcycle user, I only use this app…

Speed alarm incorporated or information to be incorporated to automated driving system
I would like to see in my life smart cities where the limit speed is set by Waze users in order to get less acidents and preserve life. Cities will have antenas to spread the real speed limit to automated pilot or driver assistance on the vehicles controling the upper limit of velocity.

Please consider adding SPEED LIMITs. It would set you apart... again!!! It would make great press coverage too!
Speed limits would make this a number #1 application and set Waze apart. The other apps have caught up to standard Waze.

multicolor traject controlled side bar
The side bar appearing when you are in a speed controlled zone (traject control) is always green. If the average speed of this zone is 70 can the app constantly calculate your speed and keep the bar green when you are in this average speed but turn yellow when you reach 70 and red when you cross the average speed (71-up) so you know you need to slow down to stay on the average speed, or you have room to speed up a little when you had to stop for any reason without overspeeding the average speed…
