1. Speed alarm incorporated or information to be incorporated to automated driving system

   I would like to see in my life smart cities where the limit speed is set by Waze users in order to get less acidents and preserve life. Cities will have antenas to spread the real speed limit to automated pilot or driver assistance on the vehicles controling the upper limit of velocity.

2. Show temporary speed limits in construction zones

   Temporary Speed Limits for Roadworks & Construction Zones
   This suggestion aims to enhance road safety and improve the accuracy of Waze navigation by implementing a feature that displays temporary speed limits in real-time. These are the limits indicated by the yellow or orange signs on portable stands often found in road repair and construction zones.
   Currently, Waze primarily relies on static, permanent speed limits for a given road segment. However, in areas with ongoing roadworks, the official speed limit is often temporarily reduced to ensure the safety of both drivers and road workers. Without this information being reflected in the app, Waze may still indicate the higher, permanent speed limit, which could lead to confusion and unsafe driving behavior.
   How it would work:
   Users could report a temporary speed limit change in a manner similar to reporting a road hazard or other alerts. A new category could be added to the reporting menu, such as "Temporary Speed Limit". The user would then be prompted to select the new, temporary speed limit and the length of the road segment affected.
   Benefits of this feature:
   • Increased Road Safety: By alerting drivers to lower speed limits in construction zones, Waze would help prevent accidents and protect the lives of both drivers and road workers. This is the primary and most critical benefit of this feature.

3. Zoom Ability Moving with Speed and Limit ON

   Using a Kenwood DNX997XR without the zoom control and no pinch zoom the map is unreadable. I need to turn off the speed and Speed limit to see it. Its there when stopped and gone when I move.
   Why not MOVE the Speed signs and make them readable. Even better a small, mid and large text box speed sign. Let the user decide what they want on the map.
   Waze is great I use it all the time and on a BIG Cadillac screen its fine I pinch zoom and can BARELY see the speed limit. But on a $1000 7" Kenwood I need to switch to Garmin to see the map and streets when I'm driving.
   For a great example the Google Speed text box is large enough and retains the zoom control. Just do that and its "As Good as Google Maps". No doesn't a developer of Waze want to be "Better" than Google Maps?

4. What happened to the ability to report an incorrect speed limit?

   Up until the last update, we could report an incorrect speed limit under Map Issues. Now there are lots of other, new issues we can report on, but the speed limit is no longer one of them.

5. Speed trap vs police monitoring construction area.

   I would like for a way to distinguish between police out for a speed trap and those that are out monitoring a construction zone. Many times people list police out but they are blocking a freeway exit or something else and aren't trying to hand out speeding tickets

7. INFO on very recent speed limt changes

   I35E In Denton Co Texas (n Texas north or DFW) has a series of newly posted speed changes in a short distance. Area has serious construction and signage is not good. Local LEO are hot on issuing tickets.

   I've gotten plenty of speeding tickets and the address is given. Would be helpful to add these speed cameras by an address instead of only when present at the camera

9. Opening Music Controls in Landscape obscures the speed limit and speedometer

   When using the app in landscape, opening the Music Controls will open on the left hand side, which then obscures the Speed Limit indicator and some of the speedometer.

   It would be much better if it moved the speed limit to be down next to the speedometer, and didn't obscure either. Or, even better, if it moved the speed limit and the speedometer to the upper right corner!

   Or better still, let us choose where to put these UI elements so we can improve information density and readability! As a motorcycle user, I only use this app in landscape.

   I personally use YouTube Music but I'm sure this applies to any music app in landscape.

10. Speed alert has stopped working in Android Auto

    Ever since the latest AA UI redesign, I have noticed that the "speed alert" feature has stopped working. I have not tested without AA, so I cannot say if this is specific to that or a general problem.

13. Improve spoken voice prompts speed

    I often find that when driving at speeds faster than 50mph and approaching roundabouts(slowing down of course) off slip roads from dual carriageways/ Motorways often the voice prompts are to slow in mentioning in what turn I need resulting in me needing to go around the roundabout twice to understand the given direction or as the case in the last few days actually being told which turn whilst on the roundabout going past the turn I needed!!

    Please look into this as my Garmin unit still gets used a lot because of this problem making it sometimes unsafe to consider Waze when driving in Kent along the M2/M20.

14. Adding alert for vehicle going below the lowest speed limit

    I really appreciate the effort you put in this application. Specially the limit for the route speed in UAE . You perfectly added the high limit for the speed.
    My suggestion is to add the lower limit for the route which vehicles can't go below.
    It's crucial because the fine for exceeding the speed is the exact same amount for going below the lowest speed.
    I myself got fined for this gap on Mohamed bin Rashid street which is not allowed to drive below 120 KM/H . And I came to know after fine of 1200 derhams ( 400×3 , as the fine is calculated for every single radar you coming through) .
    It will not take much effort from your side as they're a few list of streets which have lower limit on their lanes.
    I hope you consider my suggestion, and you really our driving experience in UAE as an amazing enjoyable experience.

15. Speed limit change audible alert for 5mph increments

    I know a voice alert was added around 2024 for larger speed changes, but many roads especially state and county routes can vary widely and often going from 55 to 25 very quickly and then bumping slowly as you exit a town from 25 to 35 to 45 to 55. To avoid speed traps on entering a town a voice alert would be great for when the speed limits change by increments of 5 mph. Small town love to catch non-locals for speeding!!!

17. WE NEED HELP IN NY !!! SCHOOL BUS CAMERA TICKET SYSTEM

    WE NEED HELP IN NY !!! They have now instituted a Camera Ticket System on the School Buses Like Red Light Cameras! Sometimes you can't even see the School Buses that are Parallel to you and they will charge $250-$275 per ticket. PLEASE HELP QUICKLY ! I think All WAZE users rely on you guys dearly to help us everyday!

18. Speed that i should travel to reach from point A to B

    I would like to see a feature that calculates the optimal travel speed that i should go from point A to point B, based on a specified arrival time at point B. Additionally, if the vehicle exceeds the maximum allowed speed, it should emit a continuous beep, similar to existing safety mechanisms.

    This can see the block up ahead and do the math calculation and suggest us at what speed we should travel.

19. Some bugs encountered with the application

    I use Waze very frequently for my work. Both as a GPS and as an assistant for road hazards.
    I've noticed a few anomalies in Android Auto.

    When I approach a speed camera, Waze informs me about it and the distance. As soon as I have passed the zone, the "Speed camera" indication remains on the screen and Waze does not provide any other information.
    I have taken some pictures of the problem encountered. If you want them, let me know where I should send them.

20. Voice warnings about several hazards on the road

    Waze has been warning about the next turn during a trip for a long time and this is great. However, there are not only maneuvers on the roads but also different hazards. For example: there is a speed control camera ahead, and an accident happened 50 meters before it. Waze will only warn about one event. This is bad. I suggest voicing such events in order, like turns "Accident ahead, then camera." and other events similarly.
