Speed limit would be crucial. It is honestly the only thing holding this near perfect app back. Users could even upload limits as thy change
Users could post speeds as they change on roads and can be confirmed by users traveling on the same roads as a pop up which could then be turned off in options if a user doesn't like it. Only thing holding this near perfect app back

Traking travel
When phone connect to car , autostart Waze, saving address During travel record position on map, with speed. When stop car shut down save position and stop waze. Result : map of trip can be available, including road used and speed top and average. Trafic condition can be automatic for or wazers because all cars speed are record and compared with speed limit of roads (if under limit mean trafic, difference in percentage show the trafic density). Look to have one idea Vezma App. Make what I suggest but don't do all that Vaze offer.

Put the speedometer back to black numberson a white background.
Why can't you people leave a good thing alone. I don't need you to tell me what the speed limit is. Making the display black on red is too hard to read, day or night. I know how fast I'm going. I hate Waze now.

More voice warning before freeway exits, regardless of speed
I noticed that the location of the voice instruction you hear before a freeway exit varies based on how fast you're going.
Around 100 km/h, you get the voice instruction 1.5 kilometres before your exit.
Around 80 km/h, you get the voice warning about 1 km before the exit.
Around 60 km/h, you get the warning just 300 metres before the exit.It's the last one that I think is a problem. Some drivers rely mostly on the voice instructions either because we don't have a phone stand or because of restrictive laws regarding phone use while driving. And if…

Add a button to change the speed limit from kilometers per hour to miles per hour
What I mean by this, is when you have kilometers selected as your unit, the speedometer changes to kilometers per hour. So maybe an option in settings allows you to change the speedometer back to miles per hour. This would be especially useful for people in the United States being used to kilometers as their unit.

I think that speed limits should be put on all roads to make the roads even safer. This will prevent accidents.
If we find out the speed for every road and put it on the system, a lot of accidents will be prevented

Add Victoria, Australia Data APIs
The Victorian Government In Australia offers a number of Data API's that would be highly useful to have integrated into the Waze App

Warning notification
Can you please move the box that appears to warn you of a speed trap so it doesn't obscure the speed your driving at/speed limit indicator. Or move the speed indicators to the top right hand area of the display. Thanks!

Friends side panel is irritating
Friends side panel is irritating. I never use it and it gets in a way when I try manually zoom in: It's is super annoying when friends panel opens up when I try to scroll the map to get an I better idea where I will need to go while waiting on a red light with phone in a holder attached to a windshield.

1 voteFunctionality is available in map editor. It’s up to local editing community to manage maps, including accurate speed limits on each road.

When you make a report, you should be able to remove or modify it. I reported a hidden speed trap, and a block later the cop took off.
Hazard reporting should be able to be removed or edited by the person who posted it, especially speed traps when the cop takes off just after you report it.

Show which side of the street the location is on when you turn onto it
I would love for Waze to show which side of the street the location is on when you turn onto the final street. This would be especially helpful when there are two lanes to the road and you need to know which lane to be in.

Map Landscape Changes
Why the change in map appearance in landscape mode. The speed limit sign is scrunched way to the right and covered up when a warning pops up. Please put the map back the way it was in landscape mode with the speed limit in the lower left corner.

"Trip computer" with reset capability -- tracks total time, total miles, avg. speed, top speed, time spent waiting (not moving), time lost due to traffic, miles remaining, ETA, ...

Speed in School Zone is 30 km
If the App gives a warning of school zone coming up in 50 meters, it will be very helpful for the driver to slow down well in advance. In the school zone, if someone is speeding the map should show a bigger warning & may be talk to the driver about cameras giving tickets.

There are three very useful things missing to make driving safer: 1. Speed traps alerts if speed limit drops ahead, a warning of change will do. 2. Exit speeds beyond a delta; you might be on 65 limit with short ramp at 25 exit unfamiliar with rain at night is dangerous. 3. Save preferred routes like roads you like leaving your town because of deer, fog, blind turns, or whatever drive your preference without having to put your destination and then a stop to force a route or else reroute messages come at every corner
