1. when someone indicates a police presence and another deletes it more than once, that other should not be able to comment on it for a greater

   When people post a police presence and a second person says that it is not there more than once and his/her location is unchanged, I suggest that this person cannot comment on that location again until he/she moves a significant distance away.
   I posted a police presence (speed trap) after being pulled over. That police officer removed it with his waze. I am certain he did that when someone posted a warning for others as well.
   Driving in an unfamiliar area is bad enough. Waze really helps.

   User Problem: When driving long distances, I want to visually see my current progress between two set break points so I can better plan rest stops and manage fatigue.
   User Story: As a driver, I want to set a break interval (e.g., every 100 or 200 km), and see a ruler or progress indicator on my navigation map that shows:

   Where I am now
   How far I’ve traveled since my last break
   How much distance remains until the next suggested break

   Feature Details:
   Setting Behavior
   Break Interval | Select from predefined (e.g. 50, 100, 200 km)

   Please add support to let user reports police giving out parking tickets on a particular street and showing statistics for it as probability of that happening at a specific timeframe. For metropolitan areas like HK and London etc it’s unavoidable to park on the street without parking meters when the car parks are full. Immensely useful to get warning on police giving out tickets and being able to see the statistics on them giving out tickets.

4. Update map

   There are no speed cameras or red light cameras in Cleveland. They got voted out a year or two ago. Please remove them from the map. Also, just because there are cones on the side of the road does not mean road works head. There is always construction but when I try to make X it out it never goes away, its all ways saying road works when it's just normal conditions with some barrels lined up off to side (i-77 and i-480) area.

7. Road Improvements & Increase Highway Lanes, Carpools

   How many times have you traveled on a highway with consistent heavy traffic with empty space on either side and wondered, why don't they just add more lanes? [CA-237 San Jose]. Then you wonder how you can get your voice heard because everyone else is most likely thinking the same thing?

   Or you go onto a heavy on ramp and wonder, there's room for carpool, but everyone is waiting into a single line, why don't they add it?

   Or there is a pothole, but who to contact to fix? Or road improvement, or on ramp, off ramp are dangerously close [101]?

   It would be nice if there was a feature to make road improvement suggestions on the fly which can be sent collectively to like change.org or some government agency or at least voted up.

   I'm sick of CA-237, 1 carpool, 2 lanes for regular traffic; a 15 minute drive takes 2 hours! Complete empty space on both shoulders.

   Or North 1st Street, why isn't there an exit only lane to reduce traffic and more businesses are being built in that area?

   People can add these physical observations in some notification area to make some positive change in our and others daily lives.

   Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

8. Fix the voice of Sara

   I use the voice of Sara to navigate. I go on rt8 north from Ansonia ct to Seymore CT. befor I get on rt8 Sara says WAKELY st as it should be pronounced but when I get off exit 22 she pronounces WAKELY as WACKLY. WACKLY is not a street, road or ave in that area. On the screen it clearly says WAKELY when she says WACKLY.
   She pronounces WAKELEE as WAKELEE but she pronounces WAKELY as WACKLY. There is no WACKLY.
   Can you please fix this soon???

9. Falta o ícone mais importante hoje, para Brasil, principalmente para São Paulo e Rio

   O APP é excelente!
   Porém falta um ícone muito importantíssimo e essencial para os dias de hoje, um aviso de assalto. Talvez um homenzinho com máscara e uma arma na mão, não importa. Mas, indicando assalto na via ou no farou à frente, arrastão, enfim, qualquer coisa do tipo. O importante, é que possamos ao nos deparar a uma situação perigosa e com o wase ligado, como um assalto acontecendo, um arrastão, ou qualquer coisa do tipo, nos imediatamente clicamos no ícone e assim avisamos a outras pessoas que estejam se aproximando da mesma área, assim elas poderão desviar e evitarem a mesma via, pode salvar muitas vidas ou no mínimo evitar muita dor de cabeça. Isso é tão importante hoje, que as pessoas passariam a ligar o wase, até para ir à padaria, mercado, até para o trabalho, mesmo que saibam o caminho, mas, só para saber se o percurso é seguro hoje.
   Extremamente simples e importante para o wase se tornar completo hoje, claro, se este ícone ao clicar, avisasse a base policial mais próxima, seria perfeito, mas, a princípio não precisa, seria apenas para que possamos nos ajudar, um ao outro. Mas, o wase podia enviar uma vez ao mês, para a polícia, um relatório, com o mapa dos lugares onde mais houveram avisos de assalto no último mês, isso também pode ajudar, mas, seria também um segundo passo, o imprescindível agora é o ícone para nós (usuários), isso tem de ser imediato e urgente, é mesmo muito importante.

    Problem: many road bifurcations, or multiple ramification roads specially in obtuse angle + between primary and secondary non clear small roads bring about navigation mistakes.

    solution: upon getting near the critical point of deviation Please make an automatic zoom ( 80M radius) to the relevant area and also insert blinking / intermittent dots to all existing ramification points ( green Dot for the correct lane to follow and black dots for all non relevant existing deviation roads. this way the driver visualize the correct direction in the roads matrix.

11. Add User-Reported Ticket Zones to Highlight Unfair or High-Risk Enforcement Areas

    I would like to request a new feature in Waze that allows users to report when and where they have received traffic tickets or Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs). These reports could be anonymously submitted and aggregated to highlight specific streets or intersections where a disproportionately high number of tickets are being issued - especially in cases where enforcement seems excessive, unfair, or unclear to drivers.

    This feature would empower drivers to be more cautious in problematic areas, while also providing transparency and potential accountability where local councils or authorities may be using enforcement as a revenue-generating tool rather than for safety or traffic flow.

    Use Case Example:
    According to publicly available data, Waltham Forest Council handed out 158,440 closed PCNs in one year alone, resulting in £6,337,600 in revenue. Many of these tickets are concentrated in specific areas where signage, rules, or road layouts may not be clear. Drivers who are unfamiliar with these traps are often unfairly penalized.

    By allowing Waze users to log the date, time, and location of received tickets, the app could identify patterns and alert other drivers in real time or during route planning. A visual heatmap or subtle warning (“High ticketing zone”) could be shown, helping users drive more carefully in those areas.

    This in the future can also be used for cases against boroughs.

12. Warning when entering a highway without other wazers

    I think it would be helpful if Waze would generate a warning when you enter a highway on which no wazer passed in the last 1-2 hours. Otherwise you count on the fact that if there is any Police on that highway you would receive a warning from Waze but since no wazer passed through that area lately you have actually no info related to that road (and you are not aware of that).
    Such a warning would force you to drive more careful and avoid speed tickets.

I've used WAZE since 2013, including covering nine thousand miles before returning home to the Charleston, SC area. I've chosen from the optional routes in the past but, to me, the top route was usually the best. The one I was on Friday may have been considered as that however the rental car charging ports for my smartphone were not working and there I was NOT on highways I was familiar with but on country roads and I had no idea where I was. I hoped they would eventually take me to I-26 but stopped to ask at three spots along the way and not one was in a busy area where I might feel safe. I made it but my ETA moved back 65 minutes and I almost lost the opportunity of getting my dog back, which was the reason for the trip. I do realize routes would have helped but off main routes as a first option is not my preference especially after traveling without a charged smartphone.

14. Add function to calculate how many hours I want to travel before stopping.

    Add a function to add a number of hours you wish to travel toward your destination so you can select a hotel in that city for the night.
    
    Frequently traveling across country and trying to select a hotel on the fly can be a problem because I have no idea where I plan to stop. If I could just say I want to travel 6 or 8 hours it could suggest to me some possible towns or cities to stop in allowing me to do a quich search for a hotel in the area that is pet friendly for instance.

    Men from northern Italy, Friuli Venezia Giulia precisely.
    We have created a group on Telegram of about 330 people (and growing) that allows us to exchange information about places of the various State Police units Control, Police, Municipal Police and the Guardia di Finanza.
    Now you can imagine how many messages arrive daily but mostly out of area messages, or alerts about a city even if I am in another.
    With this message I wanted to ask if you could put in your reporting tab, the controlling authorities mentioned before so you can move the group on your company / app and report very quickly and precisely the checkpoints.
    Also it should put an expiry time instead of not fixed control.
    The ideal would be that we become informed of control even with a notification to app also closed, without displaying the map.
    I hope I was clear enough in my purpose and I hope you take into consideration my proposal because in Italy, but I also think other states, there is always a need for mutual aid.

    A possible solution could be a feature that gathers and highlights comments from users in the affected area, making it easier for drivers ahead to both inform and respond to those approaching the traffic incident. This could create a real-time “news feed” where users share updates on ongoing situations, helping others better understand what’s happening before they reach the area.

    You should offer a premium version business or professional drivers can subscribe to where there are added premium features . For example features like adding your type of make and model of vehicle so the ETA time is more accurate and takes into consideration your miles per gallon and can include time for gas fill ups and rest stops so the ETA is more accurate. Also more functionality with sharing your location and allowing those you share your location with to request your location if sharing stops working or you close the app accidentally. Also, reports from travel done that can be downloaded into excel or PDF. I'd like to see what side of the road crashes or construction are on. I'd pay for more features and I think others would too

    I'm a collge journalist student. On September 16, 2019 the council approved to add names of people and other historical aspects of Toronto to some existing public lanes for people to easily navigate to and had 2 street closures..

    What is the process of getting you navigation system updated and how long will it take?

19. Aplicativo com mais segurança!!!

    Olá pessoal, depois dessa última tragédia no RJ, estive pensando uma forma para evitarmos esse tipo de problema, na minha opinião seria uma boa ideia que toda a vez que o cliente colocasse um endereço que seja uma área de risco, que o aplicativo avise no ato da escolha do endereço, coloca pra piscar na tela uma mensagem do tipo: "ÁREA DE RISCO, CUIDADO"......dessa forma o WAZE estaria mais ainda se isentando de culpa por pessoas que param em endereços errados, embora eu não concorde que esse tipo de erro seja do aplicativo , até porque nesse caso ocorrido , o aplicativo deu duas opções uma de AV. e outra de RUA e a escolha pela RUA foi do cliente, dessa forma entendo que o aplicativo não tem culpa alguma.
    Agora essa informação de /AREA DE RISCO, CUIDADO!!! seria muito útil.

    Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

20. Chek point

    Transit point is an exact point in a map. If I define that my route must go through city X, the navigation applies exact point in the center of the city X and leads me though this point. If my target idea is to use the city X only as a point around which the route runs, there is no way how to do it. The new "around point" could define only area, through the route should run to the end of the route. The navigation could go through the defined "around point" using optimum way.
