I think that speed limits should be put on all roads to make the roads even safer. This will prevent accidents.
If we find out the speed for every road and put it on the system, a lot of accidents will be prevented

Add an option to change where the alert is displayed on your phone screen (eg. speed cameras) from the bottom or top of your phone screen
Add an option to change where the alert is displayed on your phone screen (eg. speed cameras) from the bottom or top of your phone screen. As i find that for me when the alert is on the bottom i miss it due to the placement of my phone in the phone holder so if it was on the top of the screen that would be much better for me personally so give users the option to change where the alert is displayed on screen.

Allow to select which alerts we do want - allowed speeding (+/- 5km/h), police and speed-cams, etc.
Currently we either have all alerts or none.
The problem is, we get alerts like: reduced zone ahead, or if "speeding" so traveling 1-2km/h above.
So I have alerts disabled, but then I neither get important alerts.Allow to select us which alerts we want:
1. speedig - yes/no/yes, if exceeds N km/h
2. reduced speed zone ahead
3. police and speedcams
4. other dangers (potholes, roadkill, car stopped)
5. warnings (fog, etc.)1 vote -
Integration between Waze and car features.
Some cars already have the integration between waze and its onboard system, I believe this functionality can be exploited in the best way.
How to apply the improvements:
Speed: If the speed is higher than the speed of the road, the application along with the car system changes the speed of the CAR in colors such as green (below speed), yellow (speed near the limit), red ( speed above the limit).Petrol Stations: Check the percentage of gasoline in the car and inform the nearest gas station (thus the propagation would be more effective, since it would…

Create an option to open/enable Waze when the user’s phone detects a speed of a vehicle (20 mph, for example).

Change from Popups to small notification Banners
Popups are quite intrusive. For instance, while Waze is recalculating, which can take a while sometimes, I need to see the map to figure out the next turn quickly. There are many other examples of intrusive popups, i.e. Danger ahead, Speed camera ahead, etc.
Popups should be shown as banners. A banner should be a rectangle less than an inch tall and as wide as the screen, aligned to the top or bottom of the screen. So, the rest of the screen would not be hidden at all, but would be instead completely available and usable as always.

Improved Alert System for Fixed Cameras at Junctions in Waze
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the way Waze handles alerts for fixed cameras at junctions. Currently, Waze only provides voice alerts for the direction in which the camera is set up, even though the camera captures images from every direction at the junction.
For better safety and user awareness, it would be highly beneficial if Waze could provide voice alerts for all directions when a fixed camera is present at a junction. This would ensure that drivers are fully informed of the camera’s location, regardless of the direction they are traveling.

Should be an option to alert to change in speed limit (eg roadworks or variable speedon motorway) in same way can report accident etc

I used Waze in foreground (iPad Mini) to navigate, while running Navigon in background for speed warnings.
I really like Navigon's speed warnings, but it couldn't find my destination address, so I just let it run without a destination and ran Waze for navigating. Worked great, except in the boonies, where Waze died for lack of internet.

police notification 1 mile ahead rather then 0.5 miles
It would be nice to have a little further warning that a police car is ahead in some instances a half a mile they can clock your speed.

Ding & Alert
Waze used to ding or speak when a speed camera was up ahead but after the latest update it doesn't do either, it just pops up on screen and then doesn't go away once you passed the camera it just stays there. I drove from sheffield to watford last week and i didnt get a single ding or voice alert all the way down the M1 but i got the onscreen warning.

Cha Cha Slide Themed Voice
Upon selecting the "Cha Cha Navigator" voice, users are greeted with: "Welcome to the Cha Cha Navigator! Let's slide through traffic together."
Instead of traditional directions, instructions are given in the style of the song:"Slide to the left" for a left turn."Slide to the right" for a right turn.Everybody clap your hands" when arriving at the destination.
Playful warnings for speed cameras or police:"Speed camera ahead, cha cha real smooth now!"Customization:Users could also customize the intensity of the Cha Cha Slide references, choosing from "Mild Slide," "Moderate Slide," or "Full Slide" to suit their preference.I believe this playful…

Feature of non-static Speedcams without approval from AM
There are two things that can be reported - Police and Speedcams. Police shows up immediately, but speedcams (according to the footnote) must be approved and a user will be warned about that only if driving with excessive speed. However there are non-static speedcams too. Most users are repoting them as a police trap, but this is actually a speedcam, and it is changing its location over time. Notifying user when driving with excessive speed is ok, but I think that notifyication about non-static speedcams should be in any case, for example if there…

Tunnel Navigation bluetooth OBDII
Typically GPS signal is lost in long tunnels. Why not include a waze connection to a bluetooth enabled OBDII device in your car to give accurate speed. The direction is immaterial as the tunnel path is well known. The devices are cheap about $5 to $20 on ebay. Waze would benefit by knowing speed through tunnels. Yes, beacons are good, but not if they are sparsely placed.
