Add > Hazard > On road > Vehicle Stopped/Broken down
Knowing if a vehicle is stopped on the road or on the shoulder is critical. This information could be life-saving. We recommend updating your navigation app to include this feature.

Add a wireless OBD2 sensor for additional vehicle safety information
Suggest adding a wireless Bluetooth OBD2 device (BlueDriver or OBDLink MX+) so Waze can access safety features from your vehicle such as:
1. Blind spot warning
2. Accidental lane departure
3. Show when turn signals are on - for those that forget - optional beep after 5 seconds and before my wife says “YOUR BLINKERS ON!!!”
4. Etc.Option - For lane departure and blind spot warning above - when the two are triggered the Waze display or the hud display below could kick in the appropriate mirror camera video (if the vehicle has mirror cameras) so you see the…

A function to enter my vehicle top speed. Eg trucks, buses, mopeds can not run at speed limits. Hence eta will not be accurate.

Waze for Emergency vehicles.
Not for the common Waze market. But might be useful for Public safety and emergency situations. Give the "ambulance"(example) Waze and it can help alert all other vehicles of the incoming emergency vehicle and its route. Also it can help navigate the Emergency vehicle to easier routes.

Add "Disabled Vehicle" to Windows Phone version
I have an Android phone at work, and a Windows Phone at home. I use Waze on both as a single user. I was navigating home on Sunday when I watched a vehicle become disabled next to me at a traffic light. Being the good Wazer that I am, I immediately opened my Waze app and pressed on the "REPORT" icon. On my work (Android) phone under "HAZARD", there is an option to identify "Vehicle Stopped". On my Home (Windows) phone version, that option is completing missing. How did this get left off???? Could someone at Waze add it…

Change car on shoulder, to vehicle on shoulder
During high traffic times, there is only the "car on shoulder" option, but in my experience, there are way more semi trucks on the shoulder than there are cars. We should be able to access: Alerts > Vehicle on Shoulder > Car option or semi option.

Show directions in vehicle Dashboard
Recently Google Maps had an update so the turn to turn directions and are now shown in Ford Sync 4 vehicle dashboard. Apple Maps also has this feature for years. Can Waze also bring this functionality helping to see in the dash or head up display so we can keep more focused on the road? It would be fantastic if Waze can be on the same level as other navigation apps.

Police reported ahead vs emergency vehicle ahead
Police reported ahead should be an officer potentially looking for speeders. Police already pulling someone over with lights flashing, should fall under emergency vehicle ahead.

Custom vehicle types
There should be an option to add custom vehicle types along with the three existing. I am often switching between the company van, my diesel 4x4 and electric daily runabout, and my navigation requirements and wishes for these are different as they all have different use cases. Would be nice to add more profiles so I can easily swap between EV specific and diesel for instance, and also have one where I can leave the option for gravel roads on, or even set gravel roads as preferred if possible, this also kinda applies to ADV motorcycles.

arriving with destination on the right for those of us that use the app to navigate with a disabled person on board the vehicle
I use my waze while at work driving disabled people to destinations, the vehicle is equipped with a passenger side lift for those in mobility devices, an option to arrive at the destination with it being on the right side of the vehicle would be both safer and more convenient.

CHANGE STOPPING SIDE OF VEHICLE IN AUSTRALIA.
When using WAZE to follow mapping for directions to an address in Australia. Currently the Waze system calculates the stop with the right side of vehicle at the stop meaning vehicles either park illegally or have to make an adjustment to stop. In Australia we are meant by law to stop on the LEFT side of the carriageway to park etc, NOT the right.

Slappy the Dummy from Goosebumps as a voice option would be so hilarious and fun to use. Best if he's driving or riding in The Haunted Car as a selectable vehicle, too.

Add Van (or non compliant) as vehicle type to avoid clean air zones
Waze ability to avoid clean air zones totally falls apart if driving a van that will be charged in a clean air zone. For example Waze will route me through Bradfords clean air zone even though my vehicle has to pay the charge. There is no option to chose a non compliant vehicle so Waze avoids the zone, only private, taxi, motorbike. I just want to simply select avoid clean air zones and then start my journey confidently knowing I will avoid the zones instead of the nightmare it is when following the navigation to see clean air zone signs…

WAZE as my vehicle advisor
I would like a feature to upload my car (type, make, year, model, etc.) and so could collect my daily mileage. Then WAZE (after xx miles) could alert me about changing my brakes, renew tires, oil, etc. as well presenting me promotions from near/path services that we all forget at the right time.
As well recommending new cars offers (same or alternative make) or insurances, accesories, detailing, etc.
A whole automotive world is there, and WAZE can be the best interface to interact with it.

Please, give us an option for caravan, camping-car and big véhicule, to have large and cool road !!!!
I have a big old caravan, ad sometimes, road are not ridding easy with it.

Wazer vehicle description so we can actually wave to other wazers
I can see the little Wazer icons on the map, but I am always wondering who around me is actually using Waze. How about an option to show our vehicle type or photo of our vehicle? If not that, what about a "Sonar" button to see how close we are to other wazers at any given moment? (think sonar on a submarine)

2024 chevy trax should be added as a new vehicle
This vehicle has come out recently and I've purchased it. Its a nice looking car, not best in the world. Ive been a member over 5 years and if you all could possibly add this vehicle as it is a suv, it will make everyone’s experience using Waze better and could possibly open up the opportunity for future vehicles!
