1. School/Teamk/event emoticons. Lost on way to game? See the similarly clad Wazers in team gear!

   Say you're traveling down Interstate 75 headed for Floida A&M University in Tallahassee, but you get lost near a well-known shortcut in Tifton, Georgia. Never fear! Your Waze app shows nearby drivers clad in FAMU gear, and they are all headed in the same direction! Follow them, sort of how you might notice groups of FAMU license plates headed in the same direction. But Waze allows you to look for your fellow FAMUans further down the road! This concept could also work for events/conference, etc. Thanks for considering this idea!

2. A new camera type: Traffic offence cameras

   In Hong Kong, we have "traffic offence cameras" (交通違例相機, in Chinese) that capture any cars pursuing an illegal manoeuvre, like crossing double-white lines that shall not be crossed, or unlawfully stopping or parking at no-stopping or no-parking areas.

   May I know if Waze could add this type of cameras to the system? I believe these cameras are not exclusive to Hong Kong but present in many territories, including Japan, China, Taiwan and others. The issue currently in Waze is that the types of cameras are too specific, but quite oftenly there is just a camera to capture any sort of traffic offences.

3. Amélioration de la vitesse moyenne d'un parcours

   Je fais un nouveau trajet qui va de cornebarieu Haute garonne à Labastide clermont Haute garonne.
   Je prends l'autoroute et waze me fait sortir à la sortie 27.
   Sauf que moi je sort à la sortie 26 parce que pour 3 kilomètres de plus je n'ai aucun stop ni aucun laisser la priorité. C'est beaucoup plus roulant.
   DONC, MA SUGGESTION :
   Que WAZE prennent en compte les stop et les laissez le passage entre deux trajets en privilégiant le trajet où il y en a le moins.
   Compte tenu qu'en prenant la sortie 26, je suis sur une route large, et entretenue, ce qui n'est pas les cas des petites routes prises sortie 27.

5. Have voice use voice

   I tried your product on my phone. I expected a voice telling me when to turn, as real applications do that. Instead, it gave me all sorts of useless noises. Why does that matter? I ride a motorcycle and I can't look at the phone while riding.

   I've deleted the product from my phone. It's useless without voice direction.

6. How about you pull your heads out of your nether orifices?

   I tried your app. Though sound was set, I got no voice when navigating. I tried to post to your forums, and it gave me all sorts of problems with it not recognizing the account I was forced to set up on the phone not being recognized on the web site. I removed the application from my phone.

   Typical Israeli lack of focus on UI. Pathetic.

   Je pense qu’une petite mise à jour pour apporter un plus à notre utilisation au quotidien..
   je suis avec mes collègues chauffeur livreur, nous avons plus tourner numéroter et par tourner nous avons plusieurs adresse ( une dizaine facile ) avoir une sorte de carnet d’adresse qu’on pourrait classer par tourner
   Exemple : 10 adresse enregistre sous « dossier » tourner 510
   15 adresse enregistrer sous « dossier » tourner 616
   Ect... et un si de suite
   Ça nous changerais la vie à nous livreur qui utilisons l’application tout les jours

8. iOS app is slow at routing and finding GPS and excess screen coverage

   Dear Waze, why have you designed your app so poorly? Surely you realise your users are typically driving a car when they use your app? What does that mean? Clearly they have more important things to do than wait for your stupidly slow app and deal with excess pop ups. So first issue: why duplicate pop ups when i initiate a destination? I’ve already selected my favourite destination (or from a list) and tapped once to select it. I should be routing already by now. Instead i get another pop up covering the entire screen/map (so I can’t see if i should be turning immediately or not). This pop up should either not exist at all or should be tiny 10-20% of screen and map should be immediately visible so i can see where I’m going! Second issue: why when i launch the app does it regularly hang saying ‘waiting for GPS’ for so damn long? No other routing app does this. Sometimes it just hangs for what seems like a minute or more and i miss a turn. Why so slow? You obviously know where i am because the map is correct and has my position on it yet you can’t draw the route straight away like other major routing apps. It’s a damn shame as otherwise i prefer your app for routing but these issues have been annoying me so much since i started using waze i thought it was time i complained so hopefully you can do something about it!

9. Roll back android auto update

   its broken to the point that its completely unusable in a 10 gen civic.

   the resolution seems to be set far too large for the small center console screen. What shows is a button that is far tool to show it appropriately, and the map looks like...well around the edges of the button you can sort of see some map and it seems to zoom really far out (while city driving).

   you cant see anything, around whatever button that is, let alone use it for anything.

   to make it worse, someone bright idea to make it default to have buttons for home or work directions, is up almost all the time.
   Who needs directions to places they drive to at least once everyday? who i ask you? why are those buttons taking up a quarter of the screen?

10. Waze 'dead corner' addition

    Dear Waze,

    I would like to propose an extra feat in Waze that would eliminate dead corner accidents involving Waze software and current available technology. Please contact me if you'd like to hear about it. (no, i'm just a regular guy/dad who came up with a feasable idea and has no clue how to go about it but just thought that this would be a great addition to my favourite road app 😅)

11. Please bring meditation voice back

    So I tend to be a bit on the anxious side and when ppl cut me off, almost side swipe me or put the fear of any sort into me it pushes me to the aggressive side and so when I found this app and heard the voice with the meditation guy at first I thought it was silly then when I used it a little bit it actually helped relax me a whole bunch! I tried the headspace and it is not the same! Please bring that one back! There is so much anger on the road why take that one away?? I deleted my other app because I thought this one was perfect but without that it is good but it isn’t perfect (for me)! I need some positive vibes in my life!! PLEASE

12. Reporting issues

    After recent update, I can no longer update map while driving ( construction, road hazard, police, etc.) nor can I select a destination from existing items, resecrnts, saved, etc. I have not tried to add a stop recently while moving since. I can add a destination while stopped. When I try to update I can only get it to sort of work by clicking quick and multiple times, which causes a safety pause for like 15 seconds or so and then it moves forward, but since many of these reporting items require multiple clicks to fully select, this takes too much time and unsafely attention away from driving and to the app, a long with frustration. I am using Android Auto with Waze. But the same issue seems to happen just on phone while driving. I assume that this behavior would be the same with a touch screen.

13. Remove "car info" auto hide search box and center

    I know these been suggested many times and I really wonder who makes the UI/UX decisions here but they clearly don't take any feedback or common sense seriously.

    The persistent "car info". Why is it there? Why does it need to be on the map all the time? You think people like to flick through the options whilst driving? What's the point of that in the first place. REMOVE! Please remove

    The search box in landscape mode and centered alignment. I see this been mentioned million times over many YEARS. Why won't you make it auto hide after few seconds and make the car centered? Come on

    The app is brilliant but like I said the interface and experience department makes the most bizarre decisions. Who the heck thought those are good ideas?

14. Waze and EZPass rewards!

    I get frequent emails from EZPass that have my statements for the amount of money that has been charged to my card for passing through tolls.

    I drive through two tolls each day, and these rack up quite quickly, and can be a little bit of a burden on the wallet.

    What I thought would be a great idea is if Waze and EZPass connected somehow and offered some sort of reward where if you go through a certain number of tolls while using the Waze app, you get a free toll paid for by them.

    Even just one of these tolls paid through the many times I go through would lift a slight burden on the wallet knowing I'm saving some money by using an app and service I love and is convient.

    I think both Waze and EZPass would greatly benefit from this, as many people use both services everyday and are in similar in many ways, and would extend their customer and user bases.

15. Show slightly more accurate directions.

    Sometimes on busy crossroads, especially in the Netherlands, for example, the navigation is a bit lacking. There are two factors here:

    1) It doesn't show follow up instructions on screen whenever there is a turn you have to take right away after another turn. In NL it is very common on busy intersections to sort 5 meters after turning into a proper lane, google maps shows this perfectly, but in Waze it doesn't show at all. This causes messy driving sometimes.

    2) The arrows on screen telling you which lane to take is in these situations also not always correct. You could have to take the 2nd exit to the right on a busy intersection, 15 meters after the first one, but Waze already shows that you have to take the right lane before the 1st exit, thus making you take a wrong turn. Once again, in NL some crossroads are not straightforward at all, especially when you've never driven in that spot before.

    I hope i explained it clearly.

16. Suggestion for improvements to the charging station search on Waze

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    With the proliferation of electric vehicles, it is crucial to optimize the charging station search on Waze to make it a recommended reference. Below, I propose specific improvements to enhance this feature.

    1. AA CarPlay / Displaying power, not speed status
       Currently, on Android Auto, I notice that Waze displays vague indications ("Fast", "Medium", "Very Fast") rather than the power in kW. I would like the exact power to be indicated to better inform users.

    2. App / Displaying availability on the map
       This feature, which was previously available, has disappeared. I find that displaying the number of free connectors directly on the map when searching for a station via the "Charging Station" tab is visually very useful, and I would like to see it reintroduced.

    3. App / Separate display for 2 different power levels for the same connector

    For example, a station with 8 CCS at 300 kW and 2 CCS at 150 kW is displayed as 10 CCS at 300 kW, which is misleading. I suggest displaying each power level separately with the corresponding number of connectors for greater clarity.

    1. App / Adding a filter
       I suggest adding the following filters to facilitate searching:
       A "restricted" filter to sort stations by their status (public, restricted, private).
       A power filter with three ranges: < 22 kW, 23-99 kW, > 100 kW, or all.
       A filter for stations accepting credit cards, based on the option already checked in the editor.

    2. CarPlay, AA / display the same level of information
       I notice marked differences between Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On CarPlay, only basic information like the address is displayed, while Android Auto includes location, real-time availability, and services. Similarly, on the mobile app, Android offers filters ("open," "fast charging") that are absent on iOS. I would like to see harmonization for a consistent experience.

    3. App / Sort the proposed networks alphabetically
       In France, the list of operators lacks logic. I propose alphabetical sorting to simplify navigation and avoid confusing users.

    4. AndroidAuto CarPlay / Display the "About Us" section
       Some stations include relevant information in the "About Us" section, but it is not visible on Android Auto or CarPlay. I would like this section to be accessible to enrich the available information.

18. To be able to see favorites (gas stations, businesses) enroute to a destination.

19. On Android - Have a widget feature so there is a "Home" button on your home screen. So with one touch - Waze is set to take you home

    On Android - Have a widget feature so you can have a "Home" button on your home screen. So with one touch - Waze is set to take you home. And be able to select other favourite locations for this feature too

20. Route mapping/sharing social

    I believe having some sort of route mapping option akin to services like mapmyrun and Strava would be a great way to introduce a more social aspect for those of us who like driving for the sake of the drive or an adventure.

    Myself and many of my friends enjoy just going on random drives where we just go where the wind takes us and see sights with no particular destinations in mind. However mapping those routes and destinations for future reference is challenging and honestly time consuming.

    A feature like this as I could currently see it would allow the user to select a tracking option, which would then start recording. This would then track their current location and plot it along the route they drive, allowing the user to see a recap of sorts at the end of the drive, possibly with some analytics such as time driven, distance driven, time spent stopped, or others for people who enjoy more specific analytics.

    Another feature that could tie into this tracking option would be the ability for users to mark points of interest along the route using the same kind of marking tools used to mark hazards currently. Users could then when stopped or post-drive add information to those points of interest such as name, basic descriptions, photos, tags, etc.

    Tying into those would be the option of a social network of sorts, where users could share routes, points of interest, photos, posts, etc. with the community. At the moment, it feels as if Waze has a strong passionate community, but very few options outside of off-platform forums to really interact in a social way.

    A feature like this would not only give Wazers the chance to build more of a community locally and at large, but also the chance to integrate other future features to really reinforce the connection drivers can have with those around them. Thus, Waze could become more of a platform, rather than just a tool. While this may seem like a lot, most of the technical groundwork could build on existing systems like marking hazards and location tracking.
